The augmented evolution equation is established under the framework of the Variation Evolving Method(VEM)that seeks optimal solutions by solving the transformed Initial-Value Problems(IVPs).To improve the numerical performance,its compact form is developed herein.Through replacing the states and costates variation evolution with that of the controls,the dimension-reduced Evolution Partial Differential Equation(EPDE)only solves the control variables along the variation time to get the optimal solution,and the initial conditions for the definite solution may be arbitrary.With this equation,the scale of the resulting IVPs,obtained via the semi-discrete method,is significantly reduced and they may be solved with common Ordinary Differential Equation(ODE)integration methods conveniently.Meanwhile,the state and the costate dynamics share consistent stability in the numerical computation and this avoids the intrinsic numerical difficulty as in the indirect methods.Numerical examples are solved and it is shown that the compact form evolution equation outperforms the primary form in the precision,and the efficiency may be higher for the dense discretization.Actually,it is uncovered that the compact form of the augmented evolution equation is a continuous realization of the Newton type iteration mechanism. 展开更多

Background:Kinesin-14 family protein 1(KIFC1)is abnormally overexpressed in various cancers,and the transcription factor ETS variant 1(ETV1)is an oncogenic transcription factor in tumors.The potential binding sites on the KIFC1 promoter by ETV1 were observed;however,no evidence supports that ETV1 targets KIFC1.Aims:This study aimed to investigate the relationship between KIFC1 and ETV1,and their effects and mechanisms in pancreatic cancer.Methods:Pan-cancer analysis of KIFC1 expression was performed in GEPIA2 database.KIFC1 expression levels were determined by immunohistochemistry(IHC)in our pancreatic cancer cohort.The correlation between KIFC1 expression and prognosis,tumor mutation burden,tumor purity,mismatch repair,and high-frequency tumor mutated genes was analyzed using a series of bioinformatic tools.ETV1 targeting of KIFC1 promoter transcription was determined using luciferase reporter assay.KIFC1 knockdown and ETV1 overexpression were used to determine the role of the ETV1/KIFC1 axis in cell proliferation,migration,invasion,and epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of pancreatic cancer cells in vitro and tumor growth in vivo.Result:KIFC1 expression was increased in clinical specimens and pancreatic cancer cell lines and positively correlated with tumor mutation burden,tumor purity,mismatch repair,and KRAS and TP53 mutations.High KIFC1 expression was significantly associated with poor prognosis.Knockdown of KIFC1 suppressed the proliferation,migration,and invasion of pancreatic cancer cells and tumor growth.ETV1 overexpression increased KIFC1 expression and affected KIFC1 transcription.ETV1 overexpression reversed the role of KIFC1 knockdown in inhibiting cell proliferation,invasion,migration,and EMT,as validated in vivo.Conclusions:KIFC1 serves as a tumor activator in pancreatic cancer by promoting proliferation,migration,invasion,and tumor growth,which may be partly manipulated by ETV1. 展开更多

In this work,a group of Bi3+/Eu3+-doped SiO2-Al2O3-MCO3(M=Ca,Sr,Ba) glasses were fabricated through melt-quenching method.Their structure and photoluminescence characters were studied via Xray diffraction(XRD),UV-Vis transmission spectra(TRS),excitation spectra,emission spectra and decay lifetimes.The XRD results show that no nano-crystal phase forms in glass matrix with different doping concentrations of Bi3+and Eu3+ions.Through regulating optical alkalinity value,the intensity of Bi3+ions increases and the peak position shifts to red wavelength.The Bi3+/Eu3+ co-doped glasses show a blue-white-yellow-red luminescence by changing concentration of Eu3+ ions.Energy transfer efficiency from Bi3+ to Eu3+ can reach as high as 10.54%.At 423 K, the emission intensity of 55SiO2-10Al2O3-35BaO-0.25Bi2O3(GBE0.5) is 31.1% of that at 308 K.Meanwhile,the activation energy of the glass matrix is 0.251 eV.All results suggest that these Bi3+/Eu3+ co-doped glass samples possess potential application in LED field. 展开更多

目的:探讨预测高危型人乳头瘤病毒(high risk human papillomavirus,hrHPV)阳性和宫颈上皮内瘤样病变1级(cervical in-traepithelial neoplasia grade 1,CIN1)妇女进展的生物学标志物。方法:2010年10月至2012年8月在山西省、河南省和江... 目的:探讨预测高危型人乳头瘤病毒(high risk human papillomavirus,hrHPV)阳性和宫颈上皮内瘤样病变1级(cervical in-traepithelial neoplasia grade 1,CIN1)妇女进展的生物学标志物。方法:2010年10月至2012年8月在山西省、河南省和江西省招募7 543名妇女,采用hrHPV DNA检测和E6蛋白检测(Onco E6)等方法进行宫颈癌筛查,任一结果阳性者转诊阴道镜并取活检,于1年后随访。纳入基线hrHPV阳性或病理诊断CIN1者。结果:共纳入794例满足条件妇女,1年后88例妇女病理级别发生进展。基线hrHPV DNA中高载量者进展的风险是低载量者的2.9倍(95%CI为1.8~4.8),hrHPV16/18/45、E6蛋白阳性者进展的风险分别是阴性者的2.4倍(95%CI为1.5~3.9)、2.9倍(95%CI为1.5~5.9),其进展至宫颈上皮内瘤样病变2级及以上(cervical intraepi-thelial neoplasia grade 2 or worse,CIN2+)的绝对风险分别为4.9%(95%CI为3.2~7.4)、9.0%(95%CI为5.5~14.3)、18.8%(95%CI为10.2~31.9)。hrHPV16/18/45中高载量且E6蛋白(Onco E6)阳性妇女进展的绝对风险高达32.4%(11/34)。结论:hrHPV DNA中高载量、hrHPV16/18/45分型以及E6蛋白(Onco E6)可作为妇女hrHPV阳性和CIN1进展的生物学标志物,特别是hrHPV中高载量且E6蛋白(Onco E6)阳性妇女,临床应给予密切随访。 展开更多

Background:The SPF10 LiPA-25 system for human papillomavirus(HPV)detection with high analytical perfor-mance is widely used in HPV vaccine clinical trials.To develop and evaluate more valent HPV vaccines,other comparable methods with simpler operations are needed.Methods:The performance of the LiPA-25 against that of other 7 assays,including 4 systems based on reverse hybridization(Bohui-24,Yaneng-23,Tellgen-27,and Hybribio-16)and 3 real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)assays(Hybribio-23,Bioperfectus-21,and Sansure-26),was evaluated in selected 1726 cervical swab and 56 biopsy samples.A total of 15 HPV genotypes(HPV 6,11,16,18,31,33,35,39,45,51,52,56,58,59,and 66)were considered for comparison for each HPV type.Results:Among the swab samples,compared to LiPA-25,compatible genotypes were observed in 94.1%of samples for Hybribio-23,92.8%for Yaneng-23,92.6%for Bioperfectus-21,92.4%for Hybribio-16,91.3%for Sansure-26,89.7%for Bohui-24,and 88.0%for Tellgen-27.The highest overall agreement of the 15 HPV genotypes combined was noted for Hybribio-23(κ=0.879,McNemar’s test:P=0.136),followed closely by Hybribio-16(κ=0.877,P0.897).Conclusions:The levels of agreement for the detection of 15 HPV types between other 7 assays and LiPA-25 were all good,and Hybribio-23 was most comparable to LiPA-25.The testing operation of HPV genotyping should also be considered for vaccine and epidemiological studies. 展开更多

The gold deposits in the Jiaodong Peninsula constitute the largest gold mineralized province in China.The mineralization shows common characteristics in their tectonic setting,ore-forming fluid and metallogenic system.Sulfidation and fluid immiscibility are two important mechanisms controlling gold precipitation,both of which consume sulfur in the oreforming fluids.The escape of H2S from the main ore-forming fluids and the decrease of total sulfur concentration not only lead to the efficient precipitation of gold,but also result in the crystallization of reducing minerals such as pyrrhotite and oxidizing minerals such as magnetite.Quartz solubility shows strong dependence on temperature,pressure,and CO2 content.The dependence of quartz solubility on pressure is weak at low temperatures,and progressively stronger at higher temperatures.Similarly,the temperature dependence of quartz solubility is relatively low at low pressures,but becomes gradually stronger at high pressures.The results of solubility modeling can constrain the dissolution and reprecipitation behavior of quartz in the oreforming veins and the formation mechanism of different types of quartz veins.The multi-stage mineralization fluid activity resulted in the complex dissolution structure of quartz in the Jiaodong gold veins.Pyrite in the main metallogenic period in the Jiaodong gold deposits shows complex microstructure characteristics at single crystal scale.The trace elements(mainly the coupling of As-and Au-rich belt)and sulfur isotope composition also display a certain regularity.The As-rich fluids might have formed by the initial pulse of ore-forming fluids through As-rich metasedimentary strata,while the As-Au oscillation zone at the margin of pyrite grains is related to the pressure fluctuation caused by fault activity and the local phase separation of fluids.There is a temporal and spatial evolution of gold fineness in the Jiaodong gold deposits.Waterock reaction(sulfidation)was the main ore-forming mechanism of early gold mineralization,forming relatively high fineness gold,while significant pressure drop in the shallow part accompanied by fluid phase separation promoted the late gold mineralization,forming low fineness gold.Under cratonic destruction setting,dehydration of the amphibolite and granulite facies metamorphic lower-crust resulted in the formation of Au-CO2-rich ore-forming fluids,which rose along the deep fault and secondary structure,and formed the largescale fault-controlled gold deposits in Jiaodong. 展开更多

Cities are the main spaces to study a low-carbon economy.This paper introduces basic concepts covering“tolerance of planning carbon emissions,”“inevitable carbon emissions”and“excessive carbon emissions,”then discusses the problem with optimal city carbon emissions under the condition of tolerance.Theoretical analysis and scenario analysis were employed.First,according to optimal allocation theory of resources,we discuss how optimal society carbon emissions take place.Then,the deviation of optimal city carbon emissions was explored and analyzed,which was mostly caused by the missing price of carbon emissions allowance,excessive carbon emissions,and so on.Third,we analyzed optimal city carbon emissions under different conditions,in which different types of tolerance were included.Results show that theoretical investigations on optimal city carbon emissions provide relative ideas for determining control index and optimizing control countermeasures.Policy implications include improving the control index of city carbon emissions through environment enhancement,setting a reasonable control index of city carbon emissions under the consideration of the relationship between city economy and its environment,and establishing trading allowance and compensation mechanism of city carbon emissions,etc. 展开更多

Near-infrared(NIR)spectroscopy has garnered substantial attention owing to its diverse merits and widespread applications.Meanwhile developing phosphors with broadband and efficient NIR emission is still an enormous challenge for constructing NIR light sources.Herein,enhanced and broadened NIR luminescence of Gd2-xAlxGaSbO7(G2-xAxGSO):y%Cr3+phosphors can be realized via modifying the crystal field environment of Cr3+induced by Al3+→Gd3+cation substitution.Upon blue light irradiation,G1.4A0.6GSO:4%Cr3+exhibits a broadband luminescence ranging from 650 to 1000 nm with a full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 136 nm,excellent thermal stability,and a tiny chromaticity shift.Through incorporating the resulting powders into a blue light-emitting diode(LED)chip,a NIR phosphor-converted(pc)LED with a high output power of 62.99 mW and a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 13.38% was manufactured.The fabricated pc-LED shows application potential in nondestructive food analysis.These findings confirm that the as-synthesized G2-xAxGSO:Cr3+phosphor is a promising candidate for application in NIR pc-LEDs. 展开更多
