This study systematically investigates the effects of Tb/Sm co-doping on the thermoluminescence(TL)and optically stimulated luminescence(OSL)properties of LiMgPO4:Tb,Sm,B through a combined approach of first-princi...This study systematically investigates the effects of Tb/Sm co-doping on the thermoluminescence(TL)and optically stimulated luminescence(OSL)properties of LiMgPO4:Tb,Sm,B through a combined approach of first-principles calculations and experimental validation.Theoretical computations reveal that the most stable doping configuration corresponds to Tb and Sm ions co-substituting at equivalent Mg sites,where mutual repulsive interactions lead to their spatial separation.Experimentally,samples with varying Tb/Sm concentrations were synthesized,and XRD results demonstrate no significant structural modifications upon doping,consistent with theoretical predictions.The TL glow curves exhibit first-order kinetics with characteristic peaks at 160°C and 280°C.The trap parameters including activation energy(E)and frequency factor(s)increase with rising dopant concentration,aligning with the localized behavior predicted by calculations,which arises from the repulsive interaction between Tb and Sm ions.The OSL performance reaches its optimum at 0.5 mol%Tb and 0.46 mol%Sm,beyond which concentration quenching occurs.This trend corroborates the theoretical mechanism wherein spatial separation at high dopant concentrations promotes energy migration,ultimately reducing luminescence efficiency.By integrating theoretical and experimental evidence,this work elucidates the microscopic mechanism through which dopant concentration regulates defect complex formation in Mg-based phosphors,providing a fundamental basis for designing high-performance radiation dosimeters.展开更多

Protein phosphorylation, one of the most important protein post-translational modifications, is involved in various biological processes, and the identification of phosphorylation peptides (phosphopeptides) and thei...Protein phosphorylation, one of the most important protein post-translational modifications, is involved in various biological processes, and the identification of phosphorylation peptides (phosphopeptides) and their corresponding phosphorylation sites (phosphosites) will facilitate the understanding of the molecular mechanism and function of phosphorylation. Mass spectrometry (MS) provides a high- throughput technology that enables the identification of large numbers of phosphosites. PhoPepMass is designed to assist human phosphopeptide identification from MS data based on a specific database of phophopeptide masses and a multivariate hypergeometric matching algorithm. It contains 244,915 phosphosites from several public sources. Moreover, the accurate masses of peptides and fragments with phosphosites were calculated. It is the first database that provides a systematic resource for the query of phosphosites on peptides and their corresponding masses. This allows researchers to search certain proteins of which phosphosites have been reported, to browse detailed phosphopeptide and fragment information, to match masses from MS analyses with defined threshold to the corresponding phos- phopeptide, and to compare proprietary phosphopeptide discovery results with results from previous studies. Additionally, a database search software is created and a "two-stage search strategy" is suggested to identify phosphopeptides from tandem mass spectra of proteomics data. We expect PhoPepMass to be a useful tool and a source of reference for proteomics researchers.展开更多

The release of bilateral transactions locked more regulatory resources of the power grid, will directly affect the operation mode of the unit and the implementation of planned electricity. In the paper, considering the large-scale bilateral trade effect on the peak regulation of power grid, energy saving and emission reduction, power system security and other factors, and then putting forward the method of long term generation planning and annual planning model to adapt to the safe operation of power grid in China. In the model, the target is minimizing the monthly load rate deviation and the annual electric quantity deviation rate, the latter includes the capacity factor. In addition, the constraints include the monthly quantity of electricity, adjustable utilization rate deviation, load rate, reserve and key sections, etc. Through an example to verify the correctness of the model, the planning and power transaction results can satisfy the peak regulation of load, energy saving and emission reduction and safety operation of the power grid requirements.展开更多

To load drugs, an –SH containing linker, 3-mercaptopropanohydrazide, was designed and synthesized. It enabled the silver carriers to load and release doxorubicin(Dox) in a pH-sensitive pattern. The delivery efficiency of this system was assessed in vitro using MCF-7 cells, and in vivo using null BalB/c mice bearing MCF-7 xenograft tumors. Our results demonstrated that both Tat and externally applied magnetic field could promote cellular uptake and consequently the cytotoxicity of doxorubicin-loaded nanoparticles,with the IC50 of Tat-FeAgNP-Dox to be 0.63 mmol/L. The in vivo delivery efficiency of Tat-FeAgNP carrying Cy5 to the mouse tumor was analyzed using the in vivo optical imaging tests, in which TatFeAgNP-Cy5 yielded the most efficient accumulation in the tumor(6.772.4% ID of Tat-FeAgNPs).Anti-tumor assessment also demonstrated that Tat-FeAgNP-Dox displayed the most significant tumor-inhibiting effects and reduced the specific growth rate of tumor by 29.6%(P ? 0.009), which could be attributed to its superior performance in tumor drug delivery in comparison with the control nanovehicles.展开更多

Accurate recognition of modern and traditional porcelain styles is a challenging issue in Cantonese porcelain management due to the large variety and complex elements and patterns. We propose a hybrid system with porc...Accurate recognition of modern and traditional porcelain styles is a challenging issue in Cantonese porcelain management due to the large variety and complex elements and patterns. We propose a hybrid system with porcelain style identification and image recreation modules. In the identification module, prediction of an unknown porcelain sample is obtained by logistic regression of ensembled neural networks of top-ranked design signatures, which are obtained by discriminative analysis and transformed features in principal components. The synthesis module is developed based on a conditional generative adversarial network, which enables users to provide a designed mask with porcelain elements to generate synthesized images of Cantonese porcelain. Experimental results of 603 Cantonese porcelain images demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms other methods relative to precision, recall, area under curve of receiver operating characteristic, and confusion matrix. Case studies on image creation indicate that the proposed system has the potential to engage the community in understanding Cantonese porcelain and promote this intangible cultural heritage.展开更多

The synthesis module is developed based on a conditional generative adversarial network, which enables users to provide a designed mask with porcelain elements to generate synthesized images of Cantonese porcelain. Experimental results of 603 Cantonese porcelain images demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms other methods relative to precision, recall, area under curve of receiver operating characteristic, and confusion matrix. Case studies on image creation indicate that the proposed system has the potential to engage the community in understanding Cantonese porcelain and promote this intangible cultural heritage.
