This study systematically investigates the effects of Tb/Sm co-doping on the thermoluminescence(TL)and optically stimulated luminescence(OSL)properties of LiMgPO4:Tb,Sm,B through a combined approach of first-principles calculations and experimental validation.Theoretical computations reveal that the most stable doping configuration corresponds to Tb and Sm ions co-substituting at equivalent Mg sites,where mutual repulsive interactions lead to their spatial separation.Experimentally,samples with varying Tb/Sm concentrations were synthesized,and XRD results demonstrate no significant structural modifications upon doping,consistent with theoretical predictions.The TL glow curves exhibit first-order kinetics with characteristic peaks at 160°C and 280°C.The trap parameters including activation energy(E)and frequency factor(s)increase with rising dopant concentration,aligning with the localized behavior predicted by calculations,which arises from the repulsive interaction between Tb and Sm ions.The OSL performance reaches its optimum at 0.5 mol%Tb and 0.46 mol%Sm,beyond which concentration quenching occurs.This trend corroborates the theoretical mechanism wherein spatial separation at high dopant concentrations promotes energy migration,ultimately reducing luminescence efficiency.By integrating theoretical and experimental evidence,this work elucidates the microscopic mechanism through which dopant concentration regulates defect complex formation in Mg-based phosphors,providing a fundamental basis for designing high-performance radiation dosimeters. 展开更多

Carbon nanotubes(CNTs)have attracted great interest in numerous applications due to their excellent electronic and structural properties.However,harsh synthesis conditions and high energy consumption limit the further application of CNTs.Herein,we developed a facile and innovative strategy to generate CNTs by physically pressurizing metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)and then pyrolyzing.The synthesized bimetallic nitrogen/sulfur double-doped carbon nanotubes are denoted as FexCo1-xP(x=0.5,0.6,0.7,0.8,0.9).The introduction of pressure not only revolutionized the morphology of the electrocatalysts,but also enhanced the activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)in alkaline solution.Fe0.6Co0.4-P exhibits superior OER and HER performances in 1.0 mol·L-1KOH solution with overpotentials of 364 and 346 mV at 10 mA·cm-2,which are 28 and 5 mV lower than unpressurized Fe0.6Co0.4. 展开更多

AIM:To evaluate the specific computed tomography(CT)imaging criteria for differentiating tuberculosis involving the small bowel mesenteric lymph nodes from lymphomas.METHODS:We retrospectively reviewed the anatomic distribution,CT enhancement patterns of lymphoma in 18 patients with mesenteric tuberculosis and 22 with untreated non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas(NHL)involving small bowel mesentery(SBM).Of the 18 patients with tuberculosis,9 had purely mesenteric tuberculous lymphadenopathy(TL),and 9 had mesenteric TL accompanied with tuberculous mesenteritis(TLM).RESULTS:CT showed that tuberculosis and NHL mainly affected lymph nodes in the body and root of SBM.Homogeneously enhanced lymph nodes in the body and root of SBM were found more often in the NHL(P<0.05).Homogeneously mixed peripheral enhanced lymph nodes in the body of SBM were found more often in mesenteric TL and TLM(P<0.05).Peripheral enhanced lymph nodes in the root of SBM were found more often in mesenteric TL and TLM(P<0.01)."Sandwich sign"in the root of SBM was observed more often in NHL(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Anatomic lymph node distribution,sandwich sign and specific enhancement patterns of lymphadenopathy in SBM on CT images can be used in differentiating between tuberculosis and untreated NHL involving SBM. 展开更多

Protein phosphorylation, one of the most important protein post-translational modifications, is involved in various biological processes, and the identification of phosphorylation peptides (phosphopeptides) and their corresponding phosphorylation sites (phosphosites) will facilitate the understanding of the molecular mechanism and function of phosphorylation. Mass spectrometry (MS) provides a high- throughput technology that enables the identification of large numbers of phosphosites. PhoPepMass is designed to assist human phosphopeptide identification from MS data based on a specific database of phophopeptide masses and a multivariate hypergeometric matching algorithm. It contains 244,915 phosphosites from several public sources. Moreover, the accurate masses of peptides and fragments with phosphosites were calculated. It is the first database that provides a systematic resource for the query of phosphosites on peptides and their corresponding masses. This allows researchers to search certain proteins of which phosphosites have been reported, to browse detailed phosphopeptide and fragment information, to match masses from MS analyses with defined threshold to the corresponding phos- phopeptide, and to compare proprietary phosphopeptide discovery results with results from previous studies. Additionally, a database search software is created and a "two-stage search strategy" is suggested to identify phosphopeptides from tandem mass spectra of proteomics data. We expect PhoPepMass to be a useful tool and a source of reference for proteomics researchers. 展开更多

AIM:To present the clinical manifestations of 5 autosomal dominant cone-rod dystrophy(ad CORD)patients from two Chinese families with cone-rod homeobox(CRX)mutation(p.R41W),and to explore the clinical heterogeneity of ad CORD with CRX mutation(p.R41W).METHODS:Interrogation and ophthalmological examinations were undertaken in all patients and unaffected members.Analysis of clinical features was performed by visual acuity,slit lamp examination,visual field examination,fundoscopy,autofluorescence and spectral domain optical coherence tomography.Targeted next-generation sequencing was applied as a useful tool to identify the causative mutation of CORD genes.RESULTS:A CRX missense mutation c.121C>T was identified in all patients,resulting in an amino acid change from arginine acid to tryptophan(p.R41W).The patients presented with early onset,progressive and different severities with CORD.CONCLUSION:This is the first report of the clinical phenotype of CRX mutation(p.R41W)in Chinese families,and the mutation can lead to a wide range of various retinal phenotypes. 展开更多

According to the analysis of the speci? c case, we discussed the basics of film and television drama translation. In recent years, foreign film and television works more and more popular in China, Subtitling received more attention. Filmography is an important medium for intercultural communication that subtitling has a very important role in cross-cultural communication. By analyzing the subtitle translation of particularity, we propose the appropriate translation approach. News translation is an interlingual intercultural communication activities and news translation there are a lot of cultural barriers that improper handling will seriously affect the effect of news media, and even misleading. News translator should understand the source culture, and appropriate use of domesticating translation strategy interpretive translation means to overcome cultural barriers in order to achieve intercultural communication. 展开更多

With the deepening of China’s power market, bilateral transactions will continue to grow in large scale. The release of bilateral transactions locked more regulatory resources of the power grid, will directly affect the operation mode of the unit and the implementation of planned electricity. In the paper, considering the large-scale bilateral trade effect on the peak regulation of power grid, energy saving and emission reduction, power system security and other factors, and then putting forward the method of long term generation planning and annual planning model to adapt to the safe operation of power grid in China. In the model, the target is minimizing the monthly load rate deviation and the annual electric quantity deviation rate, the latter includes the capacity factor. In addition, the constraints include the monthly quantity of electricity, adjustable utilization rate deviation, load rate, reserve and key sections, etc. Through an example to verify the correctness of the model, the planning and power transaction results can satisfy the peak regulation of load, energy saving and emission reduction and safety operation of the power grid requirements. 展开更多

In this paper, we prepared a dual functional system based on dextrin-coated silver nanoparticles which were further attached with iron oxide nanoparticles and cell penetrating peptide(Tat), producing Tat-modified Ag-Fe_3O_4 nanocomposites(Tat-FeAgNPs). To load drugs, an –SH containing linker, 3-mercaptopropanohydrazide, was designed and synthesized. It enabled the silver carriers to load and release doxorubicin(Dox) in a pH-sensitive pattern. The delivery efficiency of this system was assessed in vitro using MCF-7 cells, and in vivo using null BalB/c mice bearing MCF-7 xenograft tumors. Our results demonstrated that both Tat and externally applied magnetic field could promote cellular uptake and consequently the cytotoxicity of doxorubicin-loaded nanoparticles,with the IC50 of Tat-FeAgNP-Dox to be 0.63 mmol/L. The in vivo delivery efficiency of Tat-FeAgNP carrying Cy5 to the mouse tumor was analyzed using the in vivo optical imaging tests, in which TatFeAgNP-Cy5 yielded the most efficient accumulation in the tumor(6.772.4% ID of Tat-FeAgNPs).Anti-tumor assessment also demonstrated that Tat-FeAgNP-Dox displayed the most significant tumor-inhibiting effects and reduced the specific growth rate of tumor by 29.6%(P ? 0.009), which could be attributed to its superior performance in tumor drug delivery in comparison with the control nanovehicles. 展开更多

Accurate recognition of modern and traditional porcelain styles is a challenging issue in Cantonese porcelain management due to the large variety and complex elements and patterns. We propose a hybrid system with porcelain style identification and image recreation modules. In the identification module, prediction of an unknown porcelain sample is obtained by logistic regression of ensembled neural networks of top-ranked design signatures, which are obtained by discriminative analysis and transformed features in principal components. The synthesis module is developed based on a conditional generative adversarial network, which enables users to provide a designed mask with porcelain elements to generate synthesized images of Cantonese porcelain. Experimental results of 603 Cantonese porcelain images demonstrate that the proposed model outperforms other methods relative to precision, recall, area under curve of receiver operating characteristic, and confusion matrix. Case studies on image creation indicate that the proposed system has the potential to engage the community in understanding Cantonese porcelain and promote this intangible cultural heritage. 展开更多
