Diazotrophs play a crucial role within the rhizosphere by fixing atmospheric nitrogen and promoting plant growth.However,the diversity of diazotrophic communities and the influences of human activity are largely unclear.This study investigated the composition and structure of diazotrophic communities associated with two Plateau forage plants,Medicago sativa(M.sativa)(legume)and Elymus sibiricus(E.sibiricus)(grass),in response to organic fertilizer application.The epicPCR method,which fuses nifH and 16S rRNA genes from individual cells,identified 347 diazotrophic species in the rhizospheres of these two forages,revealing a relatively limited but dominant nitrogen-fixing capacity within the whole bacterial community.Diazotrophic diversity and community structure analyses revealed significant differences between legume and grass rhizospheres(p<0.05).Only M.sativa exhibited a significant correlation between its growth characteristics(height,fresh weight,and dry weight of plants)and diazotrophic community under natural conditions,suggesting a solid symbiotic and promoting relationship.Organic fertilizer application had differential impacts on diazotrophs.It significantly altered the diazotrophic structure in the legume rhizosphere,notably suppressing the relative abundance of Rhizobium while increasing Pantoea,with no significant effect observed on the grass rhizosphere.Therefore,organic fertilizer application disrupted the natural symbiotic relationship between diazotrophs and legume,but had little impact on the relationship between diazotrophs and grass.This study provided crucial insights into the ecological implications of organic fertilizer application and highlighted the complex influences of plant-microbe interactions in the soil ecosystem. 展开更多

Background:The invasive freshwater snail Physella acuta poses significant threats to the ecological environment,public health safety,and the agricultural and forestry economy.Gaining insight into their geographical spread in China under current and future climate scenarios is crucial for effective monitoring and control strategies against this invasive species.Methods:Global distribution data of P.acuta were collected and screened using“ENMtool”;environmental variables were screened based on contribution of environmental variables,jackknife test and variable correlation analysis using MaxEnt 3.4.1 and GraphPad Prism 8;“kuenm”package in R 4.0.4 software was used to calculate and adjust model parameters;the optimized MaxEnt model was used to predict the potential distribution range of P.acuta in China under different climate scenarios;ArcGIS 10.7 was used to process and visualize the results.Results:A total of 2012 P.acuta distribution points were screened,and the warmest quarter,mean temperature of the coldest season,precipitation in March and November were used to construct the MaxEnt model with an area under the curve(AUC)value of 0.918.According to the prediction,P.acuta is currently widely spread across the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Guizhou Province,Yunnan Province,Chongqing Municipality,and areas proximate to the Yangtze River Basin in the middle-lower Yangtze Plain,which encompass 10.22%of China's terrestrial area.Under future climate projections,the suitable habitats for P.acuta in southern regions are expected to contract,whereas those in northern regions are anticipated to remain relatively stable.As a result,the overall distribution center is likely to shift marginally northward.Conclusion:With the future climate change,the total suitable habitats of P.acuta in China showed a shrinking trend,and the shrinkage was more significant in the southern low-latitude suitable habitats.To mitigate its impact on China's ecosystem and the loss caused by P.acuta invasion,relevant departments should increase monitoring and prompt control,and implement efficient preventive and eradication measures. 展开更多

Based on thermodynamic calculations and continuous rheological extrusion(CRE)technology,Al-Ti-V-B master alloys were designed and prepared.The morphology and the distribution of the refined phases in the master alloys were analyzed by XRD,SEM,and TEM.The effects of master alloy addition and holding time on the microstructure and mechanical properties of A356 alloy were investigated.Under the optimum refiner addition of 0.3wt.%and the holding time of 20 min,the average grain size of the refined A356 alloy is 151.8±9.11μm,89.62%lower than that of original A356 alloy.The tensile strength and elongation of as-cast A356refined alloy are 196.11 MPa and 5.75%,respectively.After T6 treatment,the tensile strength and elongation of A356 refined alloy are 290.1 MPa and 3.09%,respectively.The fracture morphology is characterized by a predominance of along-crystal fracture with a small amount of through-crystal fracture,attributed to the refined grains.Finer grains promote crack path deflection and localized plastic deformation,enhancing energy dissipation and reducing the tendency for brittle fracture.This study provides a novel approach to improving the mechanical properties of A356 alloy through grain refinement using CRE Al-Ti-V-B master alloy. 展开更多

Osteoblasts orchestrate the infiltration and crystallization of mineral precursors within collagen fibrils.Certain osteoblast-secreted mineralization-inducing proteins further stimulate bone formation.In this study,scRNA-seq analysis of murine skull and long bone revealed a striking expression pattern of carbonic anhydrase Ⅲ(Car3)in osteoblasts.We uncovered a pivotal role for CAR3 in osteoblast lineage cells,revealing its critical function in skeletal development and homeostasis.Conditional ablation of Car3 in Prx1-lineage cells resulted in osteopenia and markedly impaired osteoblast activity,underscoring its functional role.Mechanistically,the primary transcription factor RUNX2 directly regulated Car3 expression,mediating its spatiotemporal expression during development.Notably,CAR3 promoted collagen intrafibrillar mineralization by forming a ternary complex with COL1A1 and bone sialoprotein(BSP),thereby facilitating mineral deposition.Furthermore,CAR3-functionalized scaffolds significantly improved bone repair and regeneration by promoting both matrix mineralization and recruitment of Prx1-lineage cells.These findings establish CAR3 as a critical coordinator of osteoblast differentiation and collagen interfibrillar mineralization,positioning it as a central mediator for maintaining skeletal integrity and enabling regeneration. 展开更多

Carbohydrate partitioning from source to sink tissues is essential for plant growth and development.However,in maize(Zea mays L.),the molecular mechanisms by which callose synthase genes regulate this process remain largely unexplored.This study demonstrates that mutation of maize callose synthase12(Zm Cals12)results in increased carbohydrate accumulation in photosynthetic leaves but decreased carbohydrate content in sink tissues,leading to plant dwarfing and male sterility.Histochemical β-glucuronidase(GUS)activity assay and m RNA in situ hybridization(ISH)revealed that Zm Cals12 expression mainly occurs in the vascular transport system.Zm Cals12 loss-of-function decreased callose synthase activity and callose deposition in plasmodesmatas(PDs)and surrounding phloem cells(PCs)of the vascular bundle.The drop-and-see(DANS)assay indicated reduced PD permeability in photosynthetic cells and diminished transport competence of leaf veins in Zmcals12 mutants,resulting in decreased symplastic transport.Paraffin section analysis revealed that less-developed vascular cells(VCs)in Zmcals12 mutants likely disrupted sugar transport,contributing to the pleiotropic phenotype.Furthermore,impaired sugar transport inhibited internode development by suppressing auxin(IAA)biosynthesis and signaling in Zmcals12 mutant.These findings elucidate the mechanism by which Zm Cals12-mediated callose deposition and symplastic transport regulate maize growth and development. 展开更多

The extensive application of lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles has led to a torrential surge of endof-life batteries.As the dominant anode material,graphite's environmental and resource costs in production highlight the necessity of recycling spent graphite(SG).However,SG recycling technologies remain markedly underdeveloped compared to the cathode recovery status,due to perceived lower economic value.This review provides an in-depth analysis of the current SG growth trend and highlights the cost accounting for graphite recycling and the significant importance of advanced recycling technologies.By examining the failure mechanisms of graphite,various recycling and upcycling technologies in both practical application and fundamental research are fully discussed,in terms of the regeneration principle,recycling effect,strengths,and limitations of each method.Furthermore,the multi-purpose applications of recycled graphite beyond LIB anodes are explored to enhance its high-value properties.Finally,the prospects of SG recycling and large-scale application challenges are presented,including economic feasibility,process optimization,and regulatory restrictions.This review provides a comprehensive overview of developments in SG recycling strategies,offering valuable insights for narrowing the gap between fundamental research and practical applications. 展开更多

AIM:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of combination therapy with recombinant adenovirus p53 injection(rAdp53)and transcatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization(TACE)for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS:A total of 82 patients with advanced HCC treated only with TACE served as control group.Another 68 patients with HCC treated with TACE in combination with recombinant adenovirus-p53 injection served as p53 treatment group.Patients were followed up for 12 mo.Safety and therapeutic effects were evaluated according to the improvement in clinical symptoms,leukocyte count,Karnofsky and RECIST criteria.Survival rate was calculated with Kaplan-Meier method.RESULTS:The total effective rate was 58.3%for p53 treatment group,and 26.5%for control group(P<0.05).The incidence of gastrointestinal symptoms was lower in p53 treatment group than in control group(P<0.05).The 3-,6-and 12-mo survival rates were significantly higher for p53 treatment group than for control group(P<0.01).The combination treatment was well tolerated with such adverse events as fever(51.5%,P=0.006)and pain of muscles and joints(13.2%,P=0.003),which were significantly higher than the chemotherapy.Except for these minor adverse effects,no severe vector-related complications were identified.With respect to the efficacy,patients in p53 treatment group had less gastrointerestinal symptoms(P=0.062),better improvement in tumor-related pain(P=0.003),less downgrade of leukocyte counts(P=0.003)and more upgrade of Karnofsky performance score(P=0.029)than those in control group.The total effective rate(CR+PR)for p53 treatment group and control group was 58.3%and 26.5%,respectively,with distributions of different effect in two groups(P=0.042).The survival rates were 89.71%,76.13%,and 43.30%for p53 treatment group,and 68.15%,36.98%,and 24.02%for control group,respectively,3,6 and 12 mo after treatment,suggesting that the survival rates are significantly higher for p53 treatment group than for control group(P=0.0002).CONCLUSION:The rAd-p53 gene therapy in combination with TACE is a safe and effective treatment modality for advanced HCC. 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the safety and effectiveness of combined131I-metuximab and transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS:One hundred and eighty-five patients(159men and 26 women)with advanced HCC were enrolled in this study from February 2009 to July 2011.There were 95 patients in the combined metuximab and TACE group,and 90 patients in the TACE only group.The patients were followed for 12 mo.Clinical symptoms,blood cell counts,Karnofsky Performance Score(KPS)evaluation and therapeutic effects according to the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors were recorded and evaluated.RESULTS:The 1-mo effective rates(complete response+partial response+stable disease)of the test group and control group were 71.23%and 38.89%,respectively(P<0.001).The 6-,9-and 12-mo survival rates were 86.42%,74.07%and 60.49%for the test group and 60.0%,42.22%and 34.44%for the control group(P<0.001).The incidence of adverse events(gastrointestinal symptoms,fever and pain)and blood cell toxicity were significantly higher for the test group than for the control group(P<0.001).No severe131Imetuximab-related complications were identified.With respect to efficacy,patients in the test group had greater improvement in tumor-related pain(P=0.014)and increase in KPS(P<0.001)than those in the control group.CONCLUSION:Combination of131I-metuximab and TACE prolonged the survival time in patients with HCC compared with TACE alone.The combination treatment was safe and effective. 展开更多

The Subei Shoal is a special coastal area with complex physical oceanographic properties in the Yellow Sea.In the present study,the distribution of phytoplankton and its correlation with environmental factors were studied during spring and summer of 2012 in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea.Phytoplankton species composition and abundance data were accomplished by Utermohl method.Diatoms represented the greatest cellular abundance during the study period.In spring,the phytoplankton cell abundance ranged from 1.59×10^3 to 269.78×10^3 cell/L with an average of 41.80×10^3 cell/L,and Skeletonema sp.and Paralia sulcata was the most dominant species.In summer,the average phytoplankton cell abundance was 72.59×10^3 cell/L with the range of 1.78×10^3 to 574.96×10^3 cell/L,and the main dominant species was Pseudo-nitzschia pungens,Skeletonema sp.,Dactyliosolen fragilissima and Chaetoceros curvisetus.The results of a redundancy analysis(RDA)showed that turbidity,temperature,salinity,pH,dissolved oxygen(DO),the ratio of dissolved inorganic nitrogen to silicate and SiO4-Si(DIN/SiO4-Si)were the most important environmental factors controlling phytoplankton assemblages in spring or summer in the Subei Shoal of the Yellow Sea. 展开更多

However, little is known about the detailed time-series of aeolian sand transport in this area. An experiment to study the sand-dust horizontal flux of near-surface was carried out in Tazhong from January to December 2009. By measur- ing the sand-dust horizontal flux throughout sixteen sand-dust weather processes with a 200-cm tall Big Spring Number Eight (BSNE) sampler tower, we quantitatively analyzed the vertical variation of the sand-dust horizontal flux. And the total sand-dust horizontal flux of different time-series that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was estimated combining the data of saltation movement continuously recorded by piezo- electric saltation sensors (Sensit). The results indicated that, in the surface layer ranging from 0-200 cm, the inten- sity of sand-dust horizontal flux decreased with the increase of the height, and the physical quantities obeyed power function well. The total sand-dust horizontal flux of the sixteen sand-dust weather processes that passed through a section of 100 cm in width and 200 cm in height was about 2,144.9 kg, the maximum of one sand-dust weather event was about 396.3 kg, and the annual total sand-dust horizontal flux was about 3,903.2 kg. The high levels of aeolian sand transport occurred during daytime, especially from 13:00 to 16:00 in the afternoon. BACKGROUND No guideline recommends antiviral therapy for hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B patients with persistently normal alanine aminotransferase levels and a high hepatitis B virus(HBV)DNA viral load.AIM To evaluate the feasibility and safety of a Chinese herbal formula as a therapeutic option for chronic HBV infection.METHODS In total,395 patients(30–65 years old)with confirmed HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B infection and persistently normal alanine aminotransferase were randomized to receive either Chinese herbal formula or placebo for 96 wk.Endpoints to evaluate therapeutic efficacy included:(1)HBV DNA levels decreased to less than 4 log10 IU/mL at weeks 48 and 96;and(2)HBeAg clearance and seroconversion rates at weeks 48 and 96.RESULTS HBV DNA levels≤4 log10 IU/mL were 10.05%at week 48 and 18.59%at week 96 in the treatment group.The HBeAg clearance and conversion rates were 8.54%and 8.04%at week 48 and 16.08%and 14.57%at week 96,respectively.However,HBV DNA levels≤4 log10 IU/mL were 2.55%and 2.55%at weeks 48 and 96,respectively,and the HBeAg clearance rates were 3.06%and 5.61%at weeks 48 and 96,respectively,in the control group.The quantitative hepatitis B surface antigen and HBeAg levels at baseline and changes during the treatment period as well as the alanine aminotransferase elevation at weeks 12 and 24 were strong predictors of HBeAg clearance.CONCLUSION High rates of HBV DNA reduction,HBeAg clearance and seroconversion could be achieved with Chinese herbal formula treatments,and the treatments were relatively safe for HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B-infected patients with persistently normal alanine aminotransferase.The ability of the compound to modulate host immune function probably contributed to this effect. 展开更多

Thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) applied in aeroengines tend to be attacked by molten calcia-magnesiaalumino-silicate(CMAS) at high operating temperatures.Yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ) coatings with quasicolumnar microstructure were fabricated by plasma spray physical vapor deposition(PS-PVD) technique.The chemic al changes,micros tructural transform ation,mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms of the CM AS-interacted TBCs in the thermal cycling tests were investigated.Feathered YSZ grains were dissolved in the CMAS melts,and then the ZrO2 grains were reprecipitated with spherical shape,accompanying with phase transformation from tetragonal(t) to monoclinic(m).The thermal cycling tests reveal that the YSZ coating fails at the early stage due to the attack of CMAS.The fractures in intracolumns lead to partial spallation of the coatings.The failure of the coating occurs at the interfaces between thermally grown oxides(TGO) layer and YSZ topcoat;especially,the hardness and Young's modulus of the YSZ coatings increase intensively,as the coatings were infiltrated by the CMAS for a long time. 展开更多

The development and progress of soil wind erosion are influenced by the factors of climate, terrain, soil and vegetation, etc. This paper, taking Tazhong region, a town in the centre of the Taklimakan Desert, as an example and using comparative and quantitative methods, discussed the effects of climate, surface roughness (including vegetation cover) and surface soil properties on soil wind erosion. The results showed that the climate factor index C of annual wind erosion is 28.3, while the maximum of C is 13.9 in summer and it is only 0.7 in winter. The value of C has a very good exponential relationship with the wind speed. In Tazhong region, the surface roughness height is relatively small with a mean of 6.32 x 10 Sm, which is in favor of soil wind erosion. The wind erosion is further enhanced by its sandy soil types, soil particle size, lacking of vegetation and low soil moisture content. The present situation of soil wind erosion is the result of concurrent effects of climate, vegetation and surface soil properties. 展开更多

Surgery is the first choice of treatment for patients with non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC), but few patients can be treated surgically because of either advanced disease or poor pulmonary function. Other therapies include radiotherapy and chemotherapy, as well as complementary and alternative therapies, usually with disappointing results. Bronchial artery infusion(BAI) is a manageable and effective method for treating advanced NSCLC. Outcome is good by BAI due to its repeatability and low toxicity. Icotinib hydrochloride is a newly developed and highly specific epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor and has been safely and efficiently used to treat advanced NSCLC. We herein report a 73-year-old patient with chronic cough, who was diagnosed with advanced NSCLC with the EGFR mutation of L858 R substitution in exon 21, and treated with the combination of oral icotinib and BAI chemotherapy as the first-line therapy, which resulted in a satisfactory clinical outcome. Complete remission of advanced NSCLC can be achieved using the combination of oral icotinib and BAI chemotherapy. 展开更多

The dust storm is the most important and frequent meteorological disaster over Tarim Basin, which causes huge damages on local social economics. How to predict the springtime and summertime dust storm oc- currence has become a hot issue for meteorologists. This paper employed the data of dust storm frequency and 10-m wind velocity at 35 stations over Tarim Basin and the reanalysis data from the National Center for Environ- mental Prediction and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP/NCAR) during 1961-2007 to study the relationship between dust storm frequency (DSF) in summer over Tarim Basin and the thermal anomalies in Tibetan Plateau in May by using the statistical methods, such as Empirical Orthogonal Function (EOF), correlation and binomial moving average. The results show when negative anomalies in Tibetan Plateau and positive anomalies in its southern region are present along 30~N (the second mode of surface temperature anomalies by EOF decomposition) in May, the time coefficient (PC2) plays an important role in summer DSF variation and has a close relation with the summer DSF at both inter-annual and decadal time scales. When negative anomalies in Tibetan Plateau and positive anomalies are present in its southern region (PC2 in positive phase), there is an anomalous anticyclone in North China, which weakens the northwest wind and is not beneficial for cold air moving from high latitude to the Tarim Basin, and the circulation pattern is hard to result in dust storm weather. Furthermore, the sea level pressure (SLP) increased over Tarim Basin and the direction of SLP gradient reversed, which resulted in the 10-m wind velocity slowing down, so the DSF decreased. From above all, it can be conclude that the thermal anomalies in Tibetan Plateau in May has important effects on the summertime dust storm frequency over Tarim Basin and the PC2 can be used as a prediction factor for the summertime dust storm occurrence. 展开更多

Objective:Although drug-eluting stent(DES) implantation is the primary treatment modality for bare-metal stent(BMS) in-stent restenosis(ISR),little is known about the efficacy and safety profile of DES in the treatment of DES-ISR.The goal of this study was to compare the clinical outcomes following DES treatment for BMS-ISR and DES-ISR.Methods:Rates of major adverse cardiac events(MACE) were compared in 97 consecutive patients who underwent DES implantation for the treatment of ISR(56 BMS-ISR and 41 DES-ISR) from January 2004 to December 2008.Results:Baseline clinical and procedural characteristics were comparable,except that the DES used in the BMS-ISR group was longer and had a larger diameter.The length of follow-up was(28.60±1.96) and(20.34±1.54) months for the BMS-ISR and DES-ISR groups,respectively.One patient(1.8%) experienced non-cardiac mortality and one(1.8%) had target-vessel revascularization(TVR) in the BMS-ISR group.In the DES-ISR group,three patients(7.3%) died of sudden death with a documented acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction,and three suffered TVR(7.3%).Kaplan-Meier analysis indicated that cumulative survival probability and MACE-free probability were both significantly lower for the DES-ISR group(log rank test P=0.047 and P=0.005,respectively).In Cox regression analysis,DES-ISR remained an independent predictor for future MACE occurrence after adjustment for other factors(compared with BMS-ISR,risk ratio(RR)=8.743,95% confidence interval(CI) 1.54-49.54,P=0.014).Switching to a different type of DES to treat DES-ISR did not improve the prognosis.Conclusion:DES-ISR patients had a poorer prognosis than BMS-ISR patients after DES therapy. 展开更多

The co-occurrence of marine gas hydrates,shallow gas,and deep oil and gas has been widely recognized,offering favorable conditions for integrated resource development.This study aims to explore the coupled production dynamics of shallow gas hydrates and underlying free gas to support the industrialization of marine natural gas hydrate resources.A productivity prediction model for the combined extraction of hydrate and underlying gas is developed,integrating multi-physics coupling mechanisms.Using logging data from two test wells in the Qiongdongnan Basin,a short-term physical model is constructed to simulate and predict production performance.Results show that:(1)The average wellhead gas production rate increases significantly with a linear relationship to the production pressure differential;(2)pressure propagation differs notably between hydrate and free gas layers,with a distinct low-temperature zone forming near the wellbore in the hydrate-bearing layer;(3)free gas migration results in a high-saturation gas zone near the hydrate-gas interface,and elevated pressure differentials can trigger secondary hydrate formation;and(4)during short-term testing,hydrate decomposition is limited,with most gas production sourced from the underlying gas layer.By adjusting production pressure or controlling wellbore temperature,hydrate decomposition and reformation can be balanced to optimize recovery efficiency.This study highlights a novel multi-gas co-production approach and provides a theoretical basis for sustainable deepwater hydrate development. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Esophageal pleural fistula(EPF)primarily arises as a complication of esophageal surgery,malignant tumors,or trauma.The high mortality rate associated with EPF underscores the critical need for early diagnosis and aggressive treatment,which often involves a multidisciplinary approach including thoracic drainage,broad-spectrum antibiotics,nutritional support,and often surgical or endoscopic intervention.Despite its clinical severity,a corresponding animal disease model for mechanistic and therapeutic research remains unavailable.AIM To establish a stable and reproducible EPF animal model using magnetic compression technology(MCT).METHODS EPF modeling surgery was successfully performed on 20 New Zealand white rabbits(weight:2-3 kg)with our self-developed MCT device.Postoperatively,radiographic confirmation of magnet positioning was conducted within 24 hours.Fistula tract tissue samples were subjected to hematoxylin-eosin and Masson's trichrome histochemical staining.Pathological specimens were intentionally withheld from a subset of rabbits(n=8)to assess long-term stability;these animals were monitored for a prolonged period until postoperative day(POD)30 before euthanasia,allowing for observation of chronic changes.RESULTS The rabbit model of EPF was successfully established.The average surgical time was 26.6±4 minutes.Magnets were spontaneously excreted at 7.0±0.7 days postoperatively(n=18/20).Pleural abscesses developed in 14 rabbits(70%).All rabbits(n=8)reached the 30-day endpoint without intervention.Data analysis revealed no significant correlation between the abscess size,surgery time,anesthesia time,magnet discharge time,and weight changes within POD 9.Gross pathology confirmed the formation of EPFs and pleural abscesses.Spontaneous healing tendencies were observed in a subset of fistulas(n=6).Histological analysis revealed esophageal epithelial migration advancing toward the fistula lumen,whereas pleural abscess cavities contained extensive necrotic debris characterized by neutrophilic infiltration and fibrin deposition,collectively validating the model's success.CONCLUSION The magnetic compression-derived rabbit EPF model exhibits high establishment success and prolonged viability,enabling robust pathophysiological research. 展开更多

Dust emissions play a crucial role in Earth’s climate system.Although convective turbulent dust emissions(CTDE)are less intense than saltation bombardment dust emissions(SADE),their high frequency of occurrence makes them a significant contributor to the atmospheric dust budget.While dust models can simulate CTDE events at regional scales,validating their accuracy in capturing the timing and location of such events remains challenging due to the lack of in situ dust observations.In this study,the authors integrated satellite remote sensing data with surface wind speed observations to identify CTDE events in Horqin Sandy Land,China.Using the WRF-Chem model,the authors then simulated both CTDE and SADE in this region.Results indicate that CTDE and SADE emitted 1.59 Tg and 17.5 Tg of dust in 2016,respectively,accounting for 8.3%and 91.7%of the total annual emissions.Seasonally,the CTDE contribution rates were 5.7%in spring,89.1%in summer,25.8%in autumn,and 2.5%in winter.CTDE-related dust was transported up to the 400 hPa level across Northeast Asia.These findings underscore the dominant role of CTDE in low-dust seasons in East Asia and its notable contribution to the global dust budget. 展开更多
