This study presents a novel two-step approach to assess plate-like structural laminar damages,particularly for delamination damage detection of composite structures.Firstly,a 2-D continuous wavelet transform is employ...This study presents a novel two-step approach to assess plate-like structural laminar damages,particularly for delamination damage detection of composite structures.Firstly,a 2-D continuous wavelet transform is employed to identify the damage location and sizes from vibration curvature data.An inverse method is subsequently then used to determine the bending stiffness reduction ratio along a specified direction,enabling the quantification of the delamination severity.The method employed in this study is an extension of the one-dimensional inverse method developed in a previous work of the authors.The applicability of the two-step inverse approach is demonstrated in a simulation analysis and by an experimental study on a cantilever composite plate containing a single delamination.The inverse method is shown to have the capacity to reveal the detailed damage information of delamination within a constrained searching space and can be used to determine the effective flexural stiffness of composite plate structures,even in cases of complex delamination damage.展开更多
Information-carrying capacity has become an important factor in the development of encryption and anti-counterfeiting.Herein,a hydrogen-bonded organic framework(HOF-PyTTA)was developed as novel anti-counterfeiting ink...Information-carrying capacity has become an important factor in the development of encryption and anti-counterfeiting.Herein,a hydrogen-bonded organic framework(HOF-PyTTA)was developed as novel anti-counterfeiting ink without rare metals and a smartphone-based APP was written for encryption and anti-counterfeiting.We found that the fluorescence of HOF-PyTTA can be quenched by Fe3+ions and recovered by the addition of ascorbic acid.And the fluorescence of HOF-PyTTA can be enhanced by the increasing concentrations of ethanol.Based on these stimulus-response properties,four anti-counterfeiting models with gradually increased security were studied.Mode one was printed by HOFs ink and decrypted by UV light.Mode two was based on HOF-PyTTA and CsPbBr3inks(or HOF-PyTTA-Fe3+)which are used to separately print the genuine and pirated information.A decryption reagent was applied to get the genuine information.Furthermore,we successfully construct a dynamic information encryption anti-counterfeiting model using a fluorescence array in combination with an information encryption anticounterfeiting APP.The circular array is printed by several concentrations of HOF-PyTTA ink and different RGB thresholds are set with the help of the information encryption anti-counterfeiting APP,to obtain distinct encrypted anti-counterfeiting information,thus accomplishing a high information-carrying capacity.展开更多
Second-order multisynchrosqueezing transform(SMSST),an effective tool for the analysis of nonstationary signals,can significantly improve the time-frequency resolution of a nonstationary signal.Though the noise energy...Second-order multisynchrosqueezing transform(SMSST),an effective tool for the analysis of nonstationary signals,can significantly improve the time-frequency resolution of a nonstationary signal.Though the noise energy in the signal can also be enhanced in the transform which can largely affect the characteristic frequency component identification for an accurate fault diagnostic.An improved algorithm termed as an improved second-order multisynchrosqueezing transform(ISMSST)is then proposed in this study to alleviate the problem of noise interference in the analysis of nonstationary signals.In the study,the time-frequency(TF)distribution of a nonstationary signal is calculated first using SMSST,and then aδfunction is constructed based on a newly proposed time-frequency operator(TFO)which is then substituted back into SMSST to produce a noisefree time frequency result.The effectiveness of the technique is validated by comparing the TF results obtained using the proposed algorithm and those using other TFA techniques in the analysis of a simulated signal and an experimental data.The result shows that the current technique can render the most accurate TFA result within the TFA techniques employed in this study.展开更多
