The phase composition, microstructure and oxidation resistance at 1773, 1873 and 1953 K in air were investigated. The prepared coating exhibits dense structure and good oxidation protective ability. Due to the formation of stable ZrSiO4-SiO2 compound, the coating can effectively protect C/C composites from oxidation at 1773 K for more than 550 h. The anti-oxidation performance decreases with the increase of oxidation temperature. The mass loss of coated sample is 2.44% after oxidation at 1953 K for 50 h, which is attributed to the decomposition of ZrSiO4 and the volatilization of SiO2 protection layer.展开更多

C/C-ZrB2-SiC composites were fabricated by high-solid-loading slurry impregnation with polymer infiltration and pyrolysis. The dispersion and rheological behavior of ZrB2 slurry and the microstructural, mechanical, and ablation properties of the C/C-ZrB2-SiC composites were investigated. Results indicated that a well-dispersed and low-viscosity ZrB2 slurry was obtained using 0.40 wt.% polyethyleneimine as a dispersant at pH 5. Ceramics were uniformly distributed in the short-cut fiber layer and needle-punched area. The flexural strength of the C/C-ZrB2-SiC composites was 309.30 MPa. The photocatalytic degradation of acid yellow (AY) was investigated under UV radiation to estimate activity of catalysts and determine the kinetics. And the effects of parameters including the initial concentration of AY, light intensity and TiO2 content in catalysts were examined. The results indicate that TAs has a higher efficiency in decomposition of AY than P25, pure TiO2 particles as well as the mixture of TiO2 powder and active carbon. The photocatalytic degradation rate is found to follow the pseudo-first order kinetics with respect to the AY concentration. The new kinetic model fairly resembles the classic Langmuir-Hinshelwood equation, and the rate constant is proportional to the square root of the light intensity in a wide range. However, its absorption performance depends on the surface areas of catalysts. The model fits quite well with the experimental data and elucidates phenomena about the effects of the TiO2 content in TAs on the degradation rate.展开更多

The corrosion resistance of Ni-P/TiO2 film coated on NdFeB magnet,in 0.5 mol/L NaCl solution, was studied by potentiodynamic polarization, salt spray test and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The self-corrosion current density (icorr) and the polarization resistance (Rp) of Ni-P/TiO2 film are 0.22 μA/cm2 (about 14% of that of Ni-P coating),and 120 kΩ·cm2 (about 2 times of that of Ni-P coating),respectively. The anti-salt spray time of Ni-P/TiO2 film is about 2.5 times of that of the Ni-P coating. The results indicate that Ni-P/TiO2 film has a better corrosion resistance than Ni-P coating, and the composite film increases the corrosion resistance of NdFeB magnet markedly.展开更多

The specimen has good crystallinity and two shapes, i.e., viereck and round, while the sizes of viereck and round particles are both micron-sized. The effect of current and Ti3Si(AI)C2 concentration in the solution on the composition, grain size, preferred orientation and surface morphology of the electrodeposited coatings were investigated. However, its absorption performance depends on the surface areas of catalysts. The model fits quite well with the experimental data and elucidates phenomena about the effects of the TiO2 content in TAs on the degradation rate.

摘要A SiC/ZrSiO4?SiO2 (SZS) coating was successfully fabricated on the carbon/carbon (C/C) composites by pack cementation, slurry painting and sintering to improve the anti-oxidation property and thermal shock resistance. The anti-oxidation properties under different oxygen partial pressures (OPP) and thermal shock resistance of the SZS coating were investigated. The results show that the SZS coated sample under low OPP, corresponding to the ambient air, during isothermal oxidation was 0.54% in mass gain after 111 h oxidation at 1500 ° C and less than 0.03% in mass loss after 50 h oxidation in high OPP, corresponding to the air flow rate of 36 L/h. Additionally, the residual compressive strengths (RCS) of the SZS coated samples after oxidation for 50 h in high OPP and 80 h in low OPP remain about 70% and 72.5% of those of original C/C samples, respectively. Moreover, the mass loss of SZS coated samples subjected to the thermal cycle from 1500 ° C in high OPP to boiling water for 30 times was merely 1.61%.
摘要The development of advanced aircraft relies on high performance thermal-structural materials, and carbon/carbon com-posites(C/C)composited with ultrahigh-temperature ceramics are ideal candidates. However, the traditional routes of compositing are either inefficient and expensive or lead to a non-uniform distribution of ceramics in the matrix.Compared with the traditional C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the reactive melt infiltration of ZrSi2,C/C-ZrB2-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by the vacuum infiltration of ZrB2 combined with reactive melt infiltration have the higher content and more uniform distribution of the introduced ceramic phases. The mass and linear ablation rates of the C/C-ZrB2-ZrC-SiC composites were respectively 68.9%and 29.7%lower than those of C/C-ZrC-SiC composites prepared by reactive melt infiltration. The ablation performance was improved because the volatilization of B2O3,removes some of the heat, and the more uniformly distributed ZrO2,that helps produce a ZrO2-SiO2 continu-ous protective layer, hinders oxygen infiltration and decreases ablation.
摘要Polyaniline(PAn)sensitized nanocrystalline TiO2 composites(TiO2/PAn)were successfully prepared and used as an efficient photocatalyst for the degradation of dye methylene blue(MB).The results showed that PAn was able to sensitize TiO2 efficiently and the composite photocatalyst could be activated by absorbing both the ultraviolet and visible light(λ:190~800 nm),whereas pure TiO2 absorbed ultraviolet light only(λ〈380 nm).Under the irradiation of natural light,MB could be degraded more efficiently on the TiO2/PAn composites than on the TiO2 Furthermore,it could be easily separated from the solution by simple sedimentation.

摘要The Ni-P/TiO2 composite film on sintered NdFeB permanent magnet was investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD),environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM),and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX). The results indicate that Ni-P/TiO2 film has a better corrosion resistance than Ni-P coating, and the composite film increases the corrosion resistance of NdFeB magnet markedly.

摘要Titanium oxide(TiO2),with excellent cycling stability and low volume expansion,is a promising anode material for lithium-ion battery(LIB),which suffers from low electrical conductivity and poor rate capability.Combining nano-sized TiO2with conductive materials is proved an efficient method to improve its electrochemical properties. Here, rutile TiO2/carbon nanosheet was obtained by calcinating MAX(Ti3AlC2)and Na2C03together and water-bathing with HC1.The lamellar carbon atoms in MAX are converted to 2D carbon nanosheets with urchin-like rutile TiO2anchored on.The unique architecture can offer plentiful active sites, shorten the ion diffusion distance and improve the conductivity. The composite exhibits a high reversible capacity of 247 mA h g^-1,excellent rate performance(38 mA h g^-1 at 50 C)and stable cycling performance(0.014%decay per cycle during 2000 cycles)for lithium storage.
摘要A NiP/TiO2 composite film on carbon steel was prepared by electroless plating and sol-gel composite process. An artificial neural network was applied to optimize the prepared condition of the composite film. Corrosion behavior of the NiP/TiO2 composite film was investigated by polarization resistance measurement, anode polarization, ESEM (environmental scanning electron microscopy) and EIS (electrochemical impedance spectroscopy) measurements. Results showed that the NiP/ TiO2 composite film has a good corrosion resistance in 0.5mol/L H2SO4 solution. The element valence of the composite film was characterized by XPS (X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy) spectrum, and an anticorrosion mechanism of the composite film was discussed.

摘要A high active novel TiO2/AC composite photocatalyst was prepared and used for phenol degradation. It was much more active than P-25 and exhibiting good decantability, less deactivation after several runs and less sensitive to pH change. Diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS) revealed that the electronic change in TiO2 did not occur by the addition of AC. Results of SEM and XRD suggested that better TiO2 distribution can be achieved when optimal AC content was adopted. The performance of the prepared TiO2/5AC catalyst revealed great practical potential in wastewater treatment field.

摘要The up-conversion luminescence composite NaYF4:Er3+/TiO2 is prepared using the sol-gel method. The specimen has good crystallinity and two shapes, i.e., viereck and round, while the sizes of viereck and round particles are both micron-sized. The TiO2 has an anatase structure, while the NaYF4 has a hexagonal phase, which can be hardly obtained through the common sol-gel method. Due to the big particle size and the high crystallinity of pure NaYF4: Er3+, the composite has a small specific surface area that is less than Degussa P25 TiO2. The NaYF4:Er3+/TiO2 composite shows several emission peaks at 211, 237, and 251 nm under the excitation of 388 nm, at 395 nm and 411 nm under the excitation of 500 nm, and at 467, 481,492, and 508 nm under the excitation of 570 nm.

摘要Pure nickel and Ni/Ti3Si(AI)C2 composite coatings were prepared by electrodeposition method from an additive-free nickel Watt's bath and were characterized by X-ray diffraction, laser confocal microscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The effect of current and Ti3Si(AI)C2 concentration in the solution on the composition, grain size, preferred orientation and surface morphology of the electrodeposited coatings were investigated. (200)-oriented Ni coatings could be deposited at high current (62.5 mA), while (220)-oriented Ni coatings could be obtained at low current (25 mA). However, the presence of Ti3Si(Al)C2 particles disturbed the surface texture of Ni crystallites in the composite coatings. Based on the simulated morphology and the observed microstructure, the mechanisms for the change of preferred orientation and crystallite shapes in the presence of Ti3Si(Al)C2 particles were discussed. Moreover, microhardness and friction properties of pure nickel and Ni/Ti3Si(Al)C2 composite coatings were also compared.
