OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical effect of abdominal moxibustion at the Zhongji(CV3)combined with Yiqi Tonglin Yangyin decoction(益气通淋养阴汤)and antibiotics on elderly women with complicated urinary tract infe...OBJECTIVE:To investigate the clinical effect of abdominal moxibustion at the Zhongji(CV3)combined with Yiqi Tonglin Yangyin decoction(益气通淋养阴汤)and antibiotics on elderly women with complicated urinary tract infections.METHODS:One hundred and forty-four elderly female patients diagnosed with complicated urinary tract infections and admitted to our hospital were selected for this study.They were randomly assigned to two groups:the dual treatment group,consisting of 72 patients,treated with antibiotics combined with Yiqi Tonglin Yangyin decoction,and the triple treatment group,comprising 72 patients,who received abdominal moxibustion at the Zhongji(CV3)in addition to the dual treatment.The clinical efficacy,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)syndrome score,immune function indicators,oxidative stress status indicators,symptom recovery,and recurrence were evaluated and compared.RESULTS:Before treatment,there was no statistically significant differences observed in the TCM syndrome score,levels of immunoglobulin A(IgA),immunoglobulin M(IgM),xanthine oxidoreductase(XOD),malondialdehyde(MDA)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the triple group exhibited a significantly higher overall response rate(95.9%>84.7%)compared to the dual group.Moreover,the triple group demonstrated elevated levels of IgA,IgM,and SOD,a lower TCM syndrome score,and reduced levels of XOD and MDA,along with a diminished recurrence rate.Additionally,patients in the triple group experienced a shorter time to return to normal symptoms,bacteriuria,and a routine urine output.CONCLUSION:Abdominal moxibustion at the Zhongji(CV3),combined with Yiqi Tonglin Yangyin decoction and antibiotics for treating complicated urinary tract infections in elderly women,can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,TCM syndromes,and immune function of patients.Additionally,it can reduce oxidative stress,promote patient recovery,and lower the recurrence rate with pronounced comprehensive efficacy.展开更多

As the cornerstone of future information security,quantum key distribution(QKD)is evolving towards large-scale hybrid discrete-variable/continuous-variable(DV/CV)multi-domain quantum networks.Meanwhile,multicast-orien...As the cornerstone of future information security,quantum key distribution(QKD)is evolving towards large-scale hybrid discrete-variable/continuous-variable(DV/CV)multi-domain quantum networks.Meanwhile,multicast-oriented multi-party key negotiation is attracting increasing attention in quantum networks.However,the efficient key provision for multicast services over hybrid DV/CV multi-domain quantum networks remains challenging,due to the limited probability of service success and the inefficient utilization of key resources.Targeting these challenges,this study proposes two key-resource-aware multicast-oriented key provision strategies,namely the link distance-resource balanced key provision strategy and the maximum shared link key provision strategy.The proposed strategies are applicable to hybrid DV/CV multi-domain quantum networks,which are typically implemented by GG02-based intra-domain connections and BB84-based inter-domain connections.Furthermore,the multicast-oriented key provision model is formulated,based on which two heuristic algorithms are designed,i.e.,the shared link distance-resource(SLDR)dependent and the maximum shared link distance-resource(MSLDR)dependent multicast-oriented key provision algorithms.Simulation results verify the applicability of the designed algorithms across different multi-domain quantum networks,and demonstrate their superiority over the benchmark algorithms in terms of the success probability of multicast service requests,the number of shared links,and the key resource utilization.展开更多

Paraneoplastic neurological syndrome refers to certain malignant tumors that have affected the distant nervous system and caused corresponding dysfunction in the absence of tumor metastasis.Patients with this syndrome...Paraneoplastic neurological syndrome refers to certain malignant tumors that have affected the distant nervous system and caused corresponding dysfunction in the absence of tumor metastasis.Patients with this syndrome produce multiple antibodies,each targeting a different antigen and causing different symptoms and signs.The CV2/collapsin response mediator protein 5(CRMP5)antibody is a major antibody of this type.It damages the nervous system,which often manifests as limbic encephalitis,chorea,ocular manifestation,cerebellar ataxia,myelopathy,and peripheral neuropathy.Detecting CV2/CRMP5 antibody is crucial for the clinical diagnosis of paraneoplastic neurological syndrome,and anti-tumor and immunological therapies can help to alleviate symptoms and improve prognosis.However,because of the low incidence of this disease,few repo rts and no reviews have been published about it so far.This article intends to review the research on CV2/CRMP5antibody-associated paraneoplastic neurological syndrome and summarize its clinical features to help clinicians comprehensively understand the disease.Additionally,this review discusses the curre nt challenges that this disease poses,and the application prospects of new detection and diagnostic techniques in the field of paraneoplastic neurological syndrom e,including CV2/CRMP5-associated paraneoplastic neurological syndrome,in recent years.展开更多

摘要Paraneoplastic neurological syndrome refers to certain malignant tumors that have affected the distant nervous system and caused corresponding dysfunction in the absence of tumor metastasis.Patients with this syndrome produce multiple antibodies,each targeting a different antigen and causing different symptoms and signs.The CV2/collapsin response mediator protein 5(CRMP5)antibody is a major antibody of this type.It damages the nervous system,which often manifests as limbic encephalitis,chorea,ocular manifestation,cerebellar ataxia,myelopathy,and peripheral neuropathy.Detecting CV2/CRMP5 antibody is crucial for the clinical diagnosis of paraneoplastic neurological syndrome,and anti-tumor and immunological therapies can help to alleviate symptoms and improve prognosis.However,because of the low incidence of this disease,few repo rts and no reviews have been published about it so far.This article intends to review the research on CV2/CRMP5antibody-associated paraneoplastic neurological syndrome and summarize its clinical features to help clinicians comprehensively understand the disease.Additionally,this review discusses the curre nt challenges that this disease poses,and the application prospects of new detection and diagnostic techniques in the field of paraneoplastic neurological syndrom e,including CV2/CRMP5-associated paraneoplastic neurological syndrome,in recent years.
