The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized using a variety of techniques, including Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM). These characterizations confirmed the successful formation of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The FTIR spectra identified characteristic peaks corresponding to the functional groups present, and XRD analysis, using Scherer’s equation, determined an average crystalline size of 1.2 nm for the Fe3O4 nanoparticles. TGA results demonstrated the thermal stability of the nanoparticles, SEM imaging revealed distinct honeycomb-like structures for the nanoparticles synthesized with water as the solvent, while the VSM analysis was used to determine the magnetic behavior of the nanoparticles.展开更多

The conditions for the preparation of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles were optimized, and Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles obtained were characterized systematically by means of transmission electron microscope (TEM), dynamic laser scattering analyzer (DLS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results revealed that the magnetic nanoparticles were cubic shaped and dispersive, with narrow size distribution and average diameter of 11.4 nm. It was found that the homogeneous variation of pH value in the solution via the control on the dropping rate of aqueous ammonia played a critical role in size distribution. The magnetic response of the product in the magnetic field was also analyzed and evaluated carefully. A 32.6 mT magnetic field which is produced by four ferromagnets was found to be sufficient to excite the dipole moments of 0.05 g Fe3O4 powder 2 cm far away from the ferromagnets. In conclusion, the Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles with excellent properties were competent for the magnetic carders of targeted-drug in future application.展开更多

The experimental and theoretical calculation results demonstrate that Fe3 C can improve the lithium storage performance of carbon nanofibers. Besides, the addition of PPy can not only control the growth rate of carbon fibers but also help to form uniform carbon fibers. As a result, the obtained Fe3 C/N-doped carbon nanofiber composites display favorable electrochemical performance as an anode for lithium-ion batteries, which including satisfactory rate performance of 402 m A h g-1 under 1.2 Ag-1, and good cycling stability of 502.3 m A h g-1 under 200 m Ag-1 over 400 cycles. The introduction of Fe3 C species and the uniform carbon fiber morphology are responsible for the long-cycling and high rate performance of materials.展开更多
