Background:Reducing mental illness stigma is critical for mental health literacy enhancement in China,where stigmatization remains pronounced among undergraduates.Imaginative empathy is a promising anti-stigma interve...Background:Reducing mental illness stigma is critical for mental health literacy enhancement in China,where stigmatization remains pronounced among undergraduates.Imaginative empathy is a promising anti-stigma intervention,but its specific effects and the potential moderating role of gender remain under-explored.Methods:Three studies were conducted with 18–22-year-old Chinese undergraduates.Study 1(n=223,survey design)explored gender’s moderation on empathy-stigma links.Study 2(n=217,2×2×3 mixed design)tested the intervention effect of self-perspective imaginative empathy.Study 3(n=71,2×2×2 mixed design)verified gender moderation.Stigma was measured via stereotypic explanatory bias(SEB)with internal attribution tendency as the core indicator.Results:Gender moderated the empathy-stigma relationship in positive situations(Study 1:β=0.82,p<0.001;Study 3:F=4.77,p=0.032),with males showing increased internal attribution as empathy rise.Self-perspective imaginative empathy significantly increased internal attribution in positive situations(F=8.70,p<0.01)and decreased it in negative situations(F=109.63,p<0.001;Study 2).Conclusion:Self-perspective imaginative empathy elicits attributional shifts consistent with reduced mental illness stigma among Chinese undergraduates.It induces a significant increase in internal attribution tendency among males in positive situations,providing implications for developing culturally tailored anti-stigma interventions targeting implicit cognitive biases.展开更多

Background:Large language models(LLMs)are becoming more commonly used in many aspects of radiology.Some authors have previously tested the capacity of various LLMs to suggest the correct imaging modality according to ...Background:Large language models(LLMs)are becoming more commonly used in many aspects of radiology.Some authors have previously tested the capacity of various LLMs to suggest the correct imaging modality according to the guidelines of various associations,such as the American College of Radiology.This study aims to test whether free LLMs can suggest the most appropriate imaging modality in various musculoskeletal radiological cases.Methods:We tested ChatGPT 3.5,Google Bard,and Copilot(Precise)to see if they could correctly suggest the appropriate imaging modality per the American College of Radiology's Appropriateness Criteria,using clinical vignettes from the musculoskeletal section.Seventy-six vignettes were submitted to each chatbot,with the answer only being considered correct if it was the most appropriate according to the guidelines.Results:ChatGPT 3.5 was correct in 82% of cases,Bard in 66%,and Copilot in 89% of cases.Bard was unable to answer in four cases,claiming that as a LLM,it was not capable of answering the question.Conclusions:We found that all three LLMs were able to suggest the correct modality in a majority of cases.However,there was variability in the performance of the LLMs,with Copilot performing the best overall,with an accuracy of 89%.展开更多
To enhance the decoding performance of speech imagery EEG(SI-EEG)signals,a novel deep multi-module fusion network is proposed and evaluated on two public SI-EEG datasets.This method introduces a spatio-temporal-freque...To enhance the decoding performance of speech imagery EEG(SI-EEG)signals,a novel deep multi-module fusion network is proposed and evaluated on two public SI-EEG datasets.This method introduces a spatio-temporal-frequency convolution(STFCV)module to extract rich and fine-grained multi-domain features from the frequency-spatial domain of raw SI-EEG signals.A multi-head self-attention(MHSA)mechanism is further incorporated to emphasize critical EEG features within the SI-EEG signals.Additionally,a convolution-based sliding window data augmentation strategy is employed to enhance data diversity.A temporal convolutional network(TCN)is also integrated to effectively model long-range temporal dependencies,thereby boosting the decoding capability for SI-EEG.These modules interact in a collaborative and complementary manner,forming an organic and unified framework that enables coordinated feature extraction and fusion.Experimental results show that the proposed method achieves high decoding accuracy for both 5-class and 6-class SI tasks,outperforming existing state-of-the-art approaches on the BCI2020 and Coretto datasets.The model also achieves substantial gains in cross-subject validation.The proposed framework demonstrates that it may support practical use in speech imagery-based brain–computer interfaces,with an average inference time of approximately 0.85 s per trial,supporting its feasibility for online deployment in practical BCI scenarios.展开更多
