Combining years of engineering practice and relevant research findings, this paper systematically elaborates the formation mechanism of low-temperature cracking in asphalt pavements, and analyzes key influencing factors from four perspectives: material properties, structural design, environmental loads and construction quality. It further discusses the application principles and practical effects of three mainstream prevention and control technologies, namely material modification, structural optimization and construction process control. The common problems existing in the application of current technologies are summarized, and targeted optimization suggestions as well as future development directions are put forward. This study provides practical technical references for improving the low-temperature crack resistance of asphalt pavements.展开更多
