The Variable Stator Vanes(VSV)system ensures the smooth operation of the highpressure compressor by adjusting the vane angles to prevent surge,and the dynamic behavior of its multistage vanes directly affects its serv...The Variable Stator Vanes(VSV)system ensures the smooth operation of the highpressure compressor by adjusting the vane angles to prevent surge,and the dynamic behavior of its multistage vanes directly affects its service performance.To investigate the dynamic behavior of the spatial VSV multi-vane mechanism,a positional constraint equation for the VSV mechanism was established,and the numerical expressions of the Jacobian matrices for different kinematic pair constraint equations were derived.The Lagrange multiplier method was modified for spatial rotation,and an ideal dynamic model of the spatial VSV multi-vane mechanism was developed.The computational results indicate that the dynamic behavior of different vanes within the same stage is similar,and the constraint moment experienced by vanes at different positions has a linear relationship with their centroid coordinates.This study expands the dynamic modeling methods for spatial mechanisms and provides a foundation for researching the frictional dynamic behavior of VSV mechanisms with clearance.展开更多
The seismic analysis of an open water-sediment-foundation-dam(WSFD)system can be decomposed into a free-field problem for an auxiliary system and an interaction problem for a bounded WSFD system.Both of them involve c...The seismic analysis of an open water-sediment-foundation-dam(WSFD)system can be decomposed into a free-field problem for an auxiliary system and an interaction problem for a bounded WSFD system.Both of them involve complex wave coupling problems across multiple different media.This study develops a partitioned method and integrates a 2D-3D finite element procedure,based on a generalized saturated porous medium(GSPM)model and a novel localized Lagrange multipliers(LLM)method.The GSPM model fundamentally eliminates multi-solver coupling through a unified representation of heterogeneous media.The novel LLM method enables simultaneous interaction of multiple different media,transcending the inherent limitations in classical fluid-solid interface treatments.In implementation,a more realistic input for the bounded system is provided by computing the free-field for the auxiliary system using the 2D procedure,reducing numerical errors caused by multi-transmitting boundary.The accuracy of the partitioned method is examined through numerical simulations of an idealized dam-reservoir-foundation system,with results compared against those obtained from the direct method.Finally,the effects of sediment and nonlinearity on dam are investigated by augmenting a plastic-damage constitutive module.展开更多

The rapid growth of neutron flux has driven the development of3He-free neutron detectors to satisfy the requirements of the neutron scattering instruments under construction or planned at the China Spallation Neutr...The rapid growth of neutron flux has driven the development of3He-free neutron detectors to satisfy the requirements of the neutron scattering instruments under construction or planned at the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS).Position-sensitive neutron detectors with a high counting rate and large area play an important role in the instruments performing neutron measurements in or close to the direct beam.The ceramic gas-electron-multiplier(GEM)detector serves as a promising solution,and considerable work has been done using the small-area GEM neutron detectors.In this article,we designed and constructed a detector prototype utilizing ceramic GEM foils with an effective area of about307 mm×307 mm.To evaluate and investigate their basic characteristics,the Monte Carlo(MC)tool FLUKA was employed and several neutron beam tests were conducted at CSNS.The simulated spatial resolution was basically in agreement with the measured value of 2.50±0.01 mm(FWHM).The wavelength spectra measurement was verified through comparisons with a commercial beam monitor.In addition,a detection efficiency of 4.7±0.1%was achieved for monoenergetic neutrons of 1.59 A wavelength.This is consistent with the simulated result.The results indicate that the large-area ceramic GEM detector is a good candidate to implement neutron beam measurements.Its efficiency can be improved in a cascading manner to approach that reached by traditional3He detectors.展开更多

This work proposes a LUT based unsignedmultiplication which is proven to be efficient in terms of high operating speed. For n bitinput multiplication n*n memory array of 2 n bit size is required to memorize all thepossible input and output combination. Various literature works claims to be achieve highspeed multiplication with reduced LUT size by integrating a barrel shifter mechanism.This paper work address this problem, by reworking the multiplier architecture with aparallel operating pre-processing unit which used to change the multiplier and multiplicandorder with respect to the number of computational addition and subtraction stages required.Along with LUT multiplier a low power bus encoding scheme is integrated to limit the powerconstraint of the on chip DSP unit. Resulting from the separable structure of the proposed model, the convex optimization problem can be solved efficiently by adopting an inexact augmented Lagrange multiplier (IALM) method. Additionally, a random projection accelerated technique (IALM+RP) was adopted to improve the success rate. From the preliminary numerical comparisons, it was indicated that for the standard robust principal component analysis (PCA) problem, IALM+RP was at least two to six times faster than IALM with an insignificant reduction in accuracy; and for the outlier pursuit (OP) problem, IALM+RP was at least 6.9 times faster, even up to 8.3 times faster when the size of matrix was 2 000×2 000.展开更多

Reduction of conservatism is one of the key and difficult problems in missile robust gain scheduling autopilot design based on multipliers.This article presents a scheme of adopting linear parameter-varying(LPV) con...Reduction of conservatism is one of the key and difficult problems in missile robust gain scheduling autopilot design based on multipliers.This article presents a scheme of adopting linear parameter-varying(LPV) control approach with full block multipliers to design a missile robust gain scheduling autopilot in order to eliminate conservatism.A model matching design structure with a high demand on matching precision is constructed based on the missile linear fractional transformation(LFT) model.By applying full block S-procedure and elimination lemma,a convex feasibility problem with an infinite number of constraints is formulated to satisfy robust quadratic performance specifications.Then a grid method is adopted to transform the infinite-dimensional convex feasibility problem into a solvable finite-dimensional convex feasibility problem,based on which a gain scheduling controller with linear fractional dependence on the flight Mach number and altitude is derived.Static and dynamic simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme.展开更多

The performance of a single gas electron multiplier(GEM)in pure Xe at an atmospheric pressure is investigated by Particle in Cell-Monte Carlo Collision(PIC-MCC)model.The micro development processes with electrons and ...The performance of a single gas electron multiplier(GEM)in pure Xe at an atmospheric pressure is investigated by Particle in Cell-Monte Carlo Collision(PIC-MCC)model.The micro development processes with electrons and ions distributions in space have been revealed.Based on the micro development processes,the macroscopic parameters such as GEM gain and the effective efficiency have also been obtained.The simulation results indicate that after tens of nanoseconds,electrons are collected by the readout electrode while the ions still exist in the gas space for several microseconds.The main signal current is formed by the electrons arriving at the readout electrode,but electrons and ions are also collected by the copper electrodes near the GEM hole and the thin Kapton film boundary.The simulated gain of GEM exponentially increases with the applied GEM voltage.With the PIC-MCC simulations,both the physical amplification and charging mechanisms in the GEM device can be well understood,which is beneficial to the device design.展开更多

To improve the coding efficiency of MVC, a local curve fitting based Lagrange multiplier selection method is proposed in this paper, where Lagrange multipliers are selected according to the local slopes of the approximate curves. Experi-mental results showed that the proposed method improves the coding efficiency. Up to 2.5 dB gain was achieved at low bitrates.展开更多

摘要In this article we introduce the paranormed sequence spaces (f,A, Am,p), c0(f,A,Am,p) and L00(f,A, Am,p), associated with the multiplier sequence ∧ = (hk), defined by a modulus function f. We study their different properties like solidness, symmetricity, completeness etc. and prove some inclusion results.
摘要Reduction of conservatism is one of the key and difficult problems in missile robust gain scheduling autopilot design based on multipliers.This article presents a scheme of adopting linear parameter-varying(LPV) control approach with full block multipliers to design a missile robust gain scheduling autopilot in order to eliminate conservatism.A model matching design structure with a high demand on matching precision is constructed based on the missile linear fractional transformation(LFT) model.By applying full block S-procedure and elimination lemma,a convex feasibility problem with an infinite number of constraints is formulated to satisfy robust quadratic performance specifications.Then a grid method is adopted to transform the infinite-dimensional convex feasibility problem into a solvable finite-dimensional convex feasibility problem,based on which a gain scheduling controller with linear fractional dependence on the flight Mach number and altitude is derived.Static and dynamic simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme.

摘要This paper is devoted to characterizing the Riemann-Stieltjes operators and pointwise multipliers on F(p, q, s) spaces in the unit ball of C^n which contain many classical function spaces, such as the Bloch space, BMOA and Q8 spaces. The boundedness and compactness of these operators on F(p, q, s) spaces are characterized by means of an embedding theorem, i.e., F(p,q, s) spaces boundedly embedded into the tent-type spaces Tp,s^∞(μ)

摘要The performance of a single gas electron multiplier(GEM)in pure Xe at an atmospheric pressure is investigated by Particle in Cell-Monte Carlo Collision(PIC-MCC)model.The micro development processes with electrons and ions distributions in space have been revealed.Based on the micro development processes,the macroscopic parameters such as GEM gain and the effective efficiency have also been obtained.The simulation results indicate that after tens of nanoseconds,electrons are collected by the readout electrode while the ions still exist in the gas space for several microseconds.The main signal current is formed by the electrons arriving at the readout electrode,but electrons and ions are also collected by the copper electrodes near the GEM hole and the thin Kapton film boundary.The simulated gain of GEM exponentially increases with the applied GEM voltage.With the PIC-MCC simulations,both the physical amplification and charging mechanisms in the GEM device can be well understood,which is beneficial to the device design.

摘要The theory of L-R smash product is extended to multiplier Hopf algebras and a sufficient condition for L-R smash product to be regular multiplier Hopf algebras is given. In particular, the result of the paper implies Delvaux's main theorem in the case of smash products.

摘要The rate and distortion of Id-slice do not fit the globally linear relationship on a logarithmic scale. Lagrange multiplier selection methods based on the globally linear approximate relationship are neither efficient nor optimal for multi-view video coding (MVC). To improve the coding efficiency of MVC, a local curve fitting based Lagrange multiplier selection method is proposed in this paper, where Lagrange multipliers are selected according to the local slopes of the approximate curves. Experi-mental results showed that the proposed method improves the coding efficiency. Up to 2.5 dB gain was achieved at low bitrates.

摘要Let A be a symmetric expansive matrix and H^p(R^n) be the anisotropic Hardy space associated with A. For a function m in L∞(R^n), an appropriately chosen function η in Cc^∞(R^n) and j ∈ Z define mj(ξ) = m(A^jξ)η(ξ). The authors show that if 0 〈 p 〈 1 and mj belongs to the anisotropic nonhomogeneous Herz space K1^1/P^-1,p(R^n), then m is a Fourier multiplier from H^p(R^n) to L^V(R^n). For p = 1, a similar result is obtained if the space K1^0.1(R^n) is replaced by a slightly smaller space K(w). Moreover, the authors show that if 0 〈 p 〈 1 and if the sequence {(mj)^v} belongs to a certain mixednorm space, depending on p, then m is also a Fourier multiplier from H^p(R^n) to L^v(R^n).
