Testability demonstration and evaluation is of significance in measuring such testability indexes as fault...Testability plays an important role in improving the readiness and decreasing the lifecycle cost of equipment. Testability demonstration and evaluation is of significance in measuring such testability indexes as fault detection rate(FDR) and fault isolation rate(FIR), which is useful to the producer in mastering the testability level and improving the testability design, and helpful to the consumer in making purchase decisions. Aiming at the problems with a small sample of testability demonstration test data(TDTD) such as low evaluation confidence and inaccurate result, a testability evaluation method is proposed based on the prior information of multiple sources and Bayes theory. Firstly, the types of prior information are analyzed. The maximum entropy method is applied to the prior information with the mean and interval estimate forms on the testability index to obtain the parameters of prior probability density function(PDF), and the empirical Bayesian method is used to get the parameters for the prior information with a success-fail form. Then, a parametrical data consistency check method is used to check the compatibility between all the sources of prior information and TDTD. For the prior information to pass the check, the prior credibility is calculated. A mixed prior distribution is formed based on the prior PDFs and the corresponding credibility. The Bayesian posterior distribution model is acquired with the mixed prior distribution and TDTD, based on which the point and interval estimates are calculated.Finally, examples of a flying control system are used to verify the proposed method. The results show that the proposed method is feasible and effective.展开更多

For addressing, a truncated beta-Bernoulli process is firstly employed to enforce sparsity on overlapping image patches emphasizing local structures. Due to its properties, beta-Bernoulli process can adaptive infer the sparsity (number of non-zero coefficients) of each patch, an appropriate dictionary, and the noise variance simultaneously, which are prerequisite for iterative image reconstruction. Secondly, a General Gaussian Distribution (GGD) prior is introduced to engage image-wise sparsity for wavelet coefficients, which can be then estimated by a threshold denoising algorithm. Finally, MR image is reconstructed by patch-wise estimation, image-wise estimation and under-sampled k-space data with least square data fitting. Experimental results have demonstrated that proposed approach exhibits excellent reconstruction performance. Moreover, if the image is full of similar low-dimensional-structures, proposed algorithm has dramatically improved Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) 7~9 dB, with comparisons to other state-of-art compressive sampling methods.展开更多

Results sh...The effect of prior corrosion on the mechanical properties of 7475-T761 aluminum alloy was investigated by immersion test, stress corrosion test, cathode charge method and electrochemical polarization test. Results show that prior corrosion in the solution with 3 wt% NaC1 and 0.5 wt% H202 leads to mechanical properties deterioration of 7475-T761 aluminum alloy. Moreover, the elongation decreases significantly. This is mainly attributed to electrochemical corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement, in which corrosion plays a major role. Tensile stress promotes the degradation of the mechanical properties by accelerating the pitting corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement.展开更多
Ti2 AlNb-based alloy powder metallurgy(PM)compacts were prepared via hot isostatic pressing(HIP)under relatively low temperature(920 and 980℃)and at certain pressure(130 MPa).The microstructure,composition and orient...Ti2 AlNb-based alloy powder metallurgy(PM)compacts were prepared via hot isostatic pressing(HIP)under relatively low temperature(920 and 980℃)and at certain pressure(130 MPa).The microstructure,composition and orientation of B2,α2 and O phases in the compacts were characterized and analyzed with an aim to investigate the effect of unsuitable HIPping parameters on the appearance of prior particle boundary(PPB),which seriously affects the mechanical properties of the alloy.The results show that moreα2 phase is the characteristics of the PPB in Ti2AlNb-based alloy when HIPped at relatively low temperature.Increasing HIPping temperature to the upper part of the two-phase region can effectively inhibit the formation of PPB.Electron backscatter diffraction measurements show the specific orientation relationship between phases,which helps us understand the origin of a2 and O phase and the corresponding transformation path.The HIPping at a higher temperature can weaken the micro-texture intensity of theα2 and O phase due to the increase of misorientation in B2 phase.Theα2 phase at cell wall keeps the Burgers orientation relationship(BOR)with the grain on one side,and does not satisfy the BOR with the other.It is found that some O phase variants inside the cell HIPped at 980℃can only maintainα2-O OR withα2 owing to theα2→O phase transformation forming the O phase,while these O variants deviate from B2-O OR with B2 phase.展开更多

With the aim of further increasing the accuracy of ordering based s...Ordering based search methods have advantages over graph based search methods for structure learning of Bayesian networks in terms on the efficiency. With the aim of further increasing the accuracy of ordering based search methods, we first propose to increase the search space, which can facilitate escaping from the local optima. We present our search operators with majorizations, which are easy to implement. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can obtain significantly more accurate results. With regard to the problem of the decrease on efficiency due to the increase of the search space, we then propose to add path priors as constraints into the swap process. We analyze the coefficient which may influence the performance of the proposed algorithm, the experiments show that the constraints can enhance the efficiency greatly, while has little effect on the accuracy. The final experiments show that, compared to other competitive methods, the proposed algorithm can find better solutions while holding high efficiency at the same time on both synthetic and real data sets.展开更多

The results show that Si and the prior ...Isothermal transformation (TTT) behavior of the low carbon steels with two Si contents (0.50 wt pct and 1.35 wt pct) was investigated with and without the prior deformation. The results show that Si and the prior deformation of the austenite have significant effects on the transformation of the ferrite and bainite. The addition of Si refines the ferrite grains, accelerates the polygonal ferrite transformation and the formation of M/A constituents, leading to the improvement of the strength. The ferrite grains formed under the prior deformation of the austenite become more homogeneous and refined. However, the influence of deformation on the tensile strength of both steels is dependent on the isothermal temperatures. Thermodynamic calculation indicates that Si and prior deformation reduce the incubation time of both ferrite and bainite transformation, but the effect is weakened by the decrease of the isothermal temperatures.展开更多

This paper is based on the dark channel prior principle and aims at the prior information absent blurred image degradation situation. A lot of improvements have been made to estimate the transmission map of blurred images. Since the dark channel prior principle can effectively restore the blurred image at the cost of a large amount of computation, the total variation (TV) and image morphology transform (specifically top-hat transform and bottom- hat transform) have been introduced into the improved method. Compared with original transmission map estimation methods, the proposed method features both simplicity and accuracy. The es- timated transmission map together with the element can restore the image. Simulation results show that this method could inhibit the ill-posed problem during image restoration, meanwhile it can greatly improve the image quality and definition.展开更多

One a singular start to the Univer...We examine if there are grounds to entertain the Penrose suggestion as to black holes from a prior cycle of creation appearing in the present cosmos. There are two cases to consider. One a singular start to the Universe or as Karen Freeze and others have modeled a non-singular start. The two cases are different and touch upon the limits of validity of the Penrose singularity theorem. We will first of all state the two cases, singular and nonsingular, and then afterwards, briefly allude to the Penrose singularity theorem. The plausibility of the singular cosmological expansion start point w case analysis of Black holes from a prior universe will be discussed first Afterwards, a synopsis of the Penrose singularity theorem. After that, the Nonsingular case of a starting point of the expansion of the Universe will be entertained and described. Since the nonsingular start to the expansion of the Universe is not so well known, a considerable amount of space will be spent upon what I view as mathematical constructions allowing for its analysis. About the only way to ascertain these cases will be by GW astronomy, hence the details of GW production from the early Universe will be covered in excruciating detail. The methodology for that section is simple. Use a construction for a minimal time-step, then from there get emergent space-time conditions for a bridge from a nonsingular start to the universe, to potential Quantum gravity conditions. Our Methodology is to construct using a “trivial” solution to massive gravitons, and a nonsingular start for expansion of the universe. Our methodology has many unintended consequences, not the least is a relationship between a small timestep, which is called t, and then the minimum scale factor and even the tension or property values of the initial space-time wall, all of which are a consequence of a “trivial” solution taking into account “massive” gravitons. From there we next will in future articles postulate conditions for experimental detectors for subsequent data sets to obtain falsifiable data sets. Finally upon doing this, the outlines of the way to ascertain data sets as to either falsify or confirm the Penrose suggestion will be the final concluding part of the manuscript.展开更多

Creep tests on prior cyclic loading exposure specimens were performed at 650?C and 130 MPa. In order to clarify the influence of prior cyclic loading on creep behavior, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope were used. Experimental results indicate that the prior cyclic loading degrades the creep strength significantly. However, the degradation tends to be saturated with further increase in prior cyclic loading. From the view of microstructural evolution, the recovery of martensite laths takes place during prior cyclic loading exposure. This facilitates the dislocation movement during the following creep process. Therefore, premature rupture of creep test occurs. Additionally, saturated behavior of degradation can be attributed to the near completed recovery of martensite laths. Based on the effect of prior cyclic loading, a newly modified Hayhurst creep damage model was proposed to consider the prior cyclic loading damage. The main advantage of the proposed model lies in its ability to directly predict creep behavior with different levels of prior cyclic loading damage. Comparison of the predicted and experimental results shows that the proposed model can give a reasonable prediction for creep behavior of P92 steel with different level of prior cyclic loading damage.展开更多

Effects of different corrosion pit sizes, crack aspect ratios, and crack depths on stress intensity factor are analyzed. The results show that pit depth plays a major role in stress intensity factor, while the effect of pit radius is relatively small. The cracking modes of the surface and the deepest point are mode I, and mixed modes I and II, respectively. Effects of pit depths, crack aspect ratios, and crack depths on the stress intensity factor at the surface point are greater than at the deepest point.展开更多

The model is distinctive because ...The delayed S-shaped software reliability growth model (SRGM) is one of the non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) models which have been proposed for software reliability assessment. The model is distinctive because it has a mean value function that reflects the delay in failure reporting: there is a delay between failure detection and reporting time. The model captures error detection, isolation, and removal processes, thus is appropriate for software reliability analysis. Predictive analysis in software testing is useful in modifying, debugging, and determining when to terminate software development testing processes. However, Bayesian predictive analyses on the delayed S-shaped model have not been extensively explored. This paper uses the delayed S-shaped SRGM to address four issues in one-sample prediction associated with the software development testing process. Bayesian approach based on non-informative priors was used to derive explicit solutions for the four issues, and the developed methodologies were illustrated using real data.展开更多

摘要We examine if there are grounds to entertain the Penrose suggestion as to black holes from a prior cycle of creation appearing in the present cosmos. There are two cases to consider. One a singular start to the Universe or as Karen Freeze and others have modeled a non-singular start. The two cases are different and touch upon the limits of validity of the Penrose singularity theorem. We will first of all state the two cases, singular and nonsingular, and then afterwards, briefly allude to the Penrose singularity theorem. The plausibility of the singular cosmological expansion start point w case analysis of Black holes from a prior universe will be discussed first Afterwards, a synopsis of the Penrose singularity theorem. After that, the Nonsingular case of a starting point of the expansion of the Universe will be entertained and described. Since the nonsingular start to the expansion of the Universe is not so well known, a considerable amount of space will be spent upon what I view as mathematical constructions allowing for its analysis. About the only way to ascertain these cases will be by GW astronomy, hence the details of GW production from the early Universe will be covered in excruciating detail. The methodology for that section is simple. Use a construction for a minimal time-step, then from there get emergent space-time conditions for a bridge from a nonsingular start to the universe, to potential Quantum gravity conditions. Our Methodology is to construct using a “trivial” solution to massive gravitons, and a nonsingular start for expansion of the universe. Our methodology has many unintended consequences, not the least is a relationship between a small timestep, which is called t, and then the minimum scale factor and even the tension or property values of the initial space-time wall, all of which are a consequence of a “trivial” solution taking into account “massive” gravitons. From there we next will in future articles postulate conditions for experimental detectors for subsequent data sets to obtain falsifiable data sets. Finally upon doing this, the outlines of the way to ascertain data sets as to either falsify or confirm the Penrose suggestion will be the final concluding part of the manuscript.
摘要The likelihood function plays a central role in statistical analysis in relation to information, from both frequentist and Bayesian perspectives. In large samples several new properties of the likelihood in relation to information are developed here. The Arrow-Pratt absolute risk aversion measure is shown to be related to the Cramer-Rao Information bound. The derivative of the log-likelihood function is seen to provide a measure of information related stability for the Bayesian posterior density. As well, information similar prior densities can be defined reflecting the central role of likelihood in the Bayes learning paradigm.
摘要Prior austenite grain size dependence of the low temperature impact toughness has been addressed in the bainitic weld metals by in situ observations.Usually,decreasing the grain size is the only approach by which both the strength and the toughness of a steel are increased.However,low carbon bainitic steel with small grain size shows a weakening of the low temperature impact toughness in this study.By direct tracking of the morphological evolution during phase transformation,it is found that large austenite grain size dominates the nucleation of intragranular acicular ferrite,whereas small austenite grain size leads to grain boundary nucleation of bainite.This kinetics information will contribute to meet the increasing low temperature toughness requirement of weld metals for the storage tanks and offshore structures.

摘要In many practical applications of image segmentation problems,employing prior information can greatly improve segmentation results.This paper continues to study one kind of prior information,called prior distribution.Within this research,there is no exact template of the object;instead only several samples are given.The proposed method,called the parametric distribution prior model,extends our previous model by adding the training procedure to learn the prior distribution of the objects.Then this paper establishes the energy function of the active contour model(ACM)with consideration of this parametric form of prior distribution.Therefore,during the process of segmenting,the template can update itself while the contour evolves.Experiments are performed on the airplane data set.Experimental results demonstrate the potential of the proposed method that with the information of prior distribution,the segmentation effect and speed can be both improved efficaciously.

摘要The effect of prior cyclic loading on creep behavior of P92 steel was investigated. Creep tests on prior cyclic loading exposure specimens were performed at 650?C and 130 MPa. In order to clarify the influence of prior cyclic loading on creep behavior, optical microscope, scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope were used. Experimental results indicate that the prior cyclic loading degrades the creep strength significantly. However, the degradation tends to be saturated with further increase in prior cyclic loading. From the view of microstructural evolution, the recovery of martensite laths takes place during prior cyclic loading exposure. This facilitates the dislocation movement during the following creep process. Therefore, premature rupture of creep test occurs. Additionally, saturated behavior of degradation can be attributed to the near completed recovery of martensite laths. Based on the effect of prior cyclic loading, a newly modified Hayhurst creep damage model was proposed to consider the prior cyclic loading damage. The main advantage of the proposed model lies in its ability to directly predict creep behavior with different levels of prior cyclic loading damage. Comparison of the predicted and experimental results shows that the proposed model can give a reasonable prediction for creep behavior of P92 steel with different level of prior cyclic loading damage.

摘要A low carbon steel was used to determine the critical strain εc for completion of deformation enhanced ferrite transformation (DEFT) through a series of hot compression tests. In addition, the influence of prior austenite grain size (PAGS) on the critical strain was systematically investigated. Experimental results showed that the critical strain is affected by PAGS. When γ→α transformation completes, the smaller the PAGS is, the smaller the critical strain is. The ferrite grains obtained through DEFT can be refined to about 3 μm when the DEFT is completed.

摘要In situ NMR measurements of the diffusion coefficients,including an estimate of signal strength,of lithium ion conductor using diffusion-weighting pulse sequence are performed in this study.A cascade bilinear model is proposed to estimate the diffusion sensitivity factors of pulsed-field gradient using prior information of the electrochemical performance and Arrhenius constraint.The model postulates that the active lithium nuclei participating electrochemical reaction are relevant to the NMR signal intensity,when discharge rate or temperature condition is varying.The electrochemical data and the NMR signal strength show a highly fit with the proposed model according our simulation and experiments.Furthermore,the diffusion time is constrained by temperature based on Arrhenius equation of reaction rates dependence.An experimental calculation of Li_4Ti_5O_(12)(LTO)/carbon nanotubes(CNTs) with the electrolyte evaluating at 20 ℃ is presented,which the b factor is estimated by the discharge rate.

摘要Smoothness prior approach for spectral smoothing is investigated using Fourier frequency filter analysis.We show that the regularization parameter in penalized least squares could continuously control the bandwidth of low-pass filter.Besides,due to its property of interpolating the missing values automatically and smoothly,a spectral baseline correction algorithm based on the approach is proposed.This algorithm generally comprises spectral peak detection and baseline estimation.First,the spectral peak regions are detected and identified according to the second derivatives.Then,generalized smoothness prior approach combining identification information could estimate the baseline in peak regions.Results with both the simulated and real spectra show accurate baseline-corrected signals with this method.

摘要Taking cruciform welded joints under different corrosion degrees, together with 45° inclined angle and full penetration load-carrying fillet, as the research object, the stress intensity factor of a quarter-circular comer crack of welded joints is calculated based on FRANC3D with ABAQUS. Effects of different corrosion pit sizes, crack aspect ratios, and crack depths on stress intensity factor are analyzed. The results show that pit depth plays a major role in stress intensity factor, while the effect of pit radius is relatively small. The cracking modes of the surface and the deepest point are mode I, and mixed modes I and II, respectively. Effects of pit depths, crack aspect ratios, and crack depths on the stress intensity factor at the surface point are greater than at the deepest point.
摘要The delayed S-shaped software reliability growth model (SRGM) is one of the non-homogeneous Poisson process (NHPP) models which have been proposed for software reliability assessment. The model is distinctive because it has a mean value function that reflects the delay in failure reporting: there is a delay between failure detection and reporting time. The model captures error detection, isolation, and removal processes, thus is appropriate for software reliability analysis. Predictive analysis in software testing is useful in modifying, debugging, and determining when to terminate software development testing processes. However, Bayesian predictive analyses on the delayed S-shaped model have not been extensively explored. This paper uses the delayed S-shaped SRGM to address four issues in one-sample prediction associated with the software development testing process. Bayesian approach based on non-informative priors was used to derive explicit solutions for the four issues, and the developed methodologies were illustrated using real data.
