The index system for the teaching evaluation of a WebGIS course, including teacher- and student-oriented sub-syst...Teaching evaluation on a WebGIS course is a multi-objective nonlinear high-dimensional NP-hard problem. The index system for the teaching evaluation of a WebGIS course, including teacher- and student-oriented sub-systems, is first established and used for questionnaires from 2013 to 2017. The multi-objective nonlinear high-dimensional evaluation model is constructed and then solved via dynamic self-adaptive teaching–learning-based optimization (DSATLBO). DSATLBO is based on teaching–learning-based optimization with five improvements: dynamic nonlinear self-adaptive teaching factor, extracurricular tutorship factor, dynamic self-adaptive learning factor, multi-way learning factor, and non-dominated sorting factor. WebGIS teaching performance is fully evaluated based on questionnaires and DSATLBO. Optimal weights and weighted scores from DSATLBO are compared with those from the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm-II using the Pareto front, coverage to two sets, and spacing of the non-dominated solution sets to validate the performance of DSATLBO. The results show that DSATLBO can be uniformly distributed along the Pareto front. Therefore, DSATLBO can efficiently and feasibly solve the multi-objective nonlinear high-dimensional teaching evaluation model of a WebGIS course. The proposed teaching evaluation method can help reflecting the quality of all aspects of classroom teaching and guide the professional development of students.展开更多

As performance evaluation of f...The hazard of excessive reliance on using student evaluations of teaching effectiveness, namely, teaching evaluations, has been found to be a contributing factor towards grade inflation. As performance evaluation of faculty members axe largely dependent on these teaching evaluations, there is a significant incentive for course instructors to give higher, potentially inflated, grades to students in return for favourable teaching evaluations as positive reciprocity. The likelihood of grade inflation is further exacerbated for past-time and adjunct faculty members, who rely more on good teaching evaluations than their full-time compatriots. This study investigated the question of whether the use of teaching evaluations has been a contributing factor towards grade inflation at a certain private university in Bangladesh. Analysing the data for 98,362 student evaluations of more than 3,653 course sections, taught by more than 350 faculty members, this study examined the relationship between teaching evaluation and average class grade for courses offered during Spring 2012, Summer 2012, and Fall 2012 semesters at this university. As a novel econometric analysis in such research, instrumental variable estimation is undertaken, whereby statistically significant results indicate a positive relationship between teaching evaluation and average class grade for courses, after controlling for latent variables, such as teaching quality and other independent variables. The conclusion that higher grades beget high evaluation scores regardless of teaching quality indicates grade inflation for ensuring good teaching evaluation.展开更多

This paper explores how artificial intelligence can be embedded into classroom teaching quality evaluation in higher education and proposes a practical framework organized around three layers:perception,analysis,and s...This paper explores how artificial intelligence can be embedded into classroom teaching quality evaluation in higher education and proposes a practical framework organized around three layers:perception,analysis,and service.In response to the limited coverage of expert observation,fragmented evaluative evidence,and the weak translation of feedback into improvement,three implementation paths are developed:AI-based video analysis,AI-supported data analysis,and AI-enabled intelligent assistants.Video analysis generates traceable process evidence from classroom activities,teacher-student behaviors,and interaction patterns.Data analysis integrates AI-generated indicators,expert observation,student feedback,and teacher self-evaluation to support comparison,diagnosis,and trend tracking.Intelligent assistants provide policy interpretation,result explanation,task reminders,and improvement support for teachers,supervisors,and administrators.The paper further proposes a five-stage implementation process from data preparation to follow-up review.It argues that AI should not replace human evaluators in making final judgments,but should provide explainable and reviewable evidence for a teaching quality evaluation system moving from one-time scoring toward continuous improvement.展开更多

Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of standardized patient scenario simulation teaching in geriatric medicine clinical education and provide references for improving teaching methods in geriatrics.Methods:Sixt...Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of standardized patient scenario simulation teaching in geriatric medicine clinical education and provide references for improving teaching methods in geriatrics.Methods:Sixty-five clinical physicians from other departments who rotated into the Geriatric Medicine Department for training between August 2024 and July 2025 were randomly divided into a control group(n=32)and an observation group(n=33).The control group received traditional centralized theoretical lectures combined with instructor-led clinical mentoring,while the observation group underwent standardized patient scenario simulation training.The two groups were compared on post-rotation examination scores and teaching satisfaction metrics.Results:The observation group achieved significantly higher post-rotation examination scores(88.37±3.04)than the control group(80.17±3.29)(p<0.01).Teaching satisfaction surveys revealed that trainees in the observation group demonstrated significantly higher satisfaction than the control group(p<0.05)regarding the teaching method’s effectiveness in enhancing learning interest,independent learning ability,comprehensive clinical problem-solving skills,patient communication skills,teamwork capabilities,and research conceptualization abilities.Conclusion:Standardized patient scenario simulation teaching effectively improves clinical teaching quality in geriatric medicine,enhances trainees’comprehensive clinical competencies,and holds value for broader application.展开更多

A one-semester quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design was implemented at a university in Xi’an, China, in two intact classes: an experimental group receiving smart-classroom instruction (n = 36) and a control group receiving conventional instruction (n = 36). The intervention embedded digital music resources, AI-assisted creative tools, platform-based learning activities, and data-informed feedback into regular course teaching. Data were collected from student questionnaires, platform logs, teaching records, and course-product evaluations. Seven operational indicators were compared descriptively: digital resource support, participation in smart-classroom activities, teacher-student interaction timeliness, evaluation quality, learning autonomy, student output quality, and exploratory instructional cost-efficiency. Group-level results indicated improvement in both groups, with larger descriptive gains in the experimental group. The digital resource richness index increased from 42 to 81 in the experimental group and from 43 to 65 in the control group;the cost-efficiency ratio increased from 0.60 to 0.82 and from 0.61 to 0.69, respectively. Because individual-level data were unavailable, standard deviations and inferential tests were not reported. The findings offer preliminary descriptive evidence that smart-classroom design may support resource access, participation, feedback, and self-directed learning in music-major teaching.展开更多

This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-be...This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-between 2020 and 2023,this research analyses the current status of teaching and research at these 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan.Also evaluated the teaching and research capabilities of these institutions via the entropy value method.The findings reveal that academic papers of high volume and quality are predominantly found in Hainan’s higher vocational colleges designated as“Double High”institutions,which possess distinct professional characteris-tics.With respect to research projects,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges con-duct scientific research grounded in provincial conditions,with a focus on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and key local industries.In terms of patents,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges place greater emphasis on the cultivation of utility model patents.With respect to teaching achievement awards,Hainan has a relatively high selection frequency,with a particular focus on participation from department heads and frontline teachers.In teacher teaching competitions,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges utilize their professional characteristics to develop competition projects centered around clusters of majors.On the basis of the results of the data analysis,recommendations are proposed for transforming research paradigms,building high-quality teaching and research teams,establishing a sustainable teaching and research evaluation system,and implementing categorized management for key and general institutions,providing a basis for enhancing teaching and research capabilities at Hainan’s higher vocational colleges.展开更多

Crowdsourcing is widely used in various fields to collect goods and services from large participants.Evaluating teaching quality by collecting feedback from experts or students after class is not only delayed but also...Crowdsourcing is widely used in various fields to collect goods and services from large participants.Evaluating teaching quality by collecting feedback from experts or students after class is not only delayed but also not accurate.In this paper,we present a crowdsourcing-based framework to evaluate teaching quality in the classroom using a weighted average operator to aggregate information from students’questionnaires described by linguistic 2-tuple terms.Then we define crowd grade based on similarity degree to distinguish contribution from different students and minimize the abnormal students’impact on the evaluation.The crowd grade would be updated at the end of each feedback so it can guarantee the evaluation accurately.Moreover,a simulated case is shown to illustrate how to apply this framework to assess teaching quality in the classroom.Finally,we developed a prototype and carried out some experiments on a series of real questionnaires and two sets of modified data.The results show that teachers can locate the weak points of teaching and furthermore to identify the abnormal students to improve the teaching quality.Meanwhile,our approach provides a strong tolerance for the abnormal student to make the evaluation more accurate.展开更多
Objective:To study the application effect of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in clinical anesthesia practice.Method:48 students assigned to clinical anesthesia in digestive endoscopy of Shanxi Bethune H...Objective:To study the application effect of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in clinical anesthesia practice.Method:48 students assigned to clinical anesthesia in digestive endoscopy of Shanxi Bethune Hospital from July 1,2022 to April 1,2023 were selected as research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group(PowerPoint presentation teaching group)and the observation group(short video combined with BOPPPS teaching group),with 24 students in each group.After the internship,the students’theoretical and technical scores were tested,the effects of the two teaching modes were compared,and the students’satisfaction was investigated.Results:The test scores of students in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode can significantly improve students’learning interest,operation skills,and memory(P<0.05).The students’satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In clinical practice,the application of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode has achieved great effect,which is worth further promotion and research.展开更多

摘要Teaching evaluation refers to the process of measuring and giving value judgment to the process and results of teaching activities by using effective technical means.Through teaching evaluation,teachers can direct the teaching process to develop toward the predetermined goal and effectively complete the teaching task.This paper investigates the function of teaching evaluation in the Machine Translation course in Northeastern University.The function of teaching evaluation for teachers includes adjustment,diagnosis,teaching stimulation,and orientation.The function of teaching evaluation for students includes feedback,guidance,intensification,and purpose orientation.This paper also discusses the influence of teaching evaluation on the psychology of both,teachers and students.Positive evaluation can improve the enthusiasm of teachers and students,but other times,it may reduce their enthusiasm,whereas when negative evaluation and guidance are appropriate,the enthusiasm of teachers and students may improve.This research reveals that a reasonable teaching evaluation plays a huge role in promoting the psychology of both,teachers and students.

摘要Traditional art creation design research is a course that cultivates comprehensive talents in the Fine Arts Department of Sichuan University of Arts.This course has been offered over eight terms,and its purpose is to cultivate students’comprehensive design ability.This course aims to cultivate the abilities to create and inherit traditional art as well as to control and study the course of art creation.Based on the teaching practice of this course,the teaching evaluation system is reformed and studied so as to form a better evaluation system for the teaching of art creation.
摘要The teaching quality evaluation system based on data mining technology can accurately and fairly identify the core driving factors to improve teaching quality.This method adopts the analysis of big data correlation rules,including data collection and processing preparation steps,builds the data warehouse of association rules,and then generates an educational quality evaluation framework using the principle of data mining.Based on this,this paper analyzes the construction design and method of the teaching evaluation system under data mining,hoping to provide help for the improvement of the teaching evaluation system and the improvement of teaching quality.

摘要Teachers'teaching evaluation language is an important part of art class teaching,which can directly affect students'interest in art class.Taking the teaching evaluation language of rural art teachers as the research object,this paper analyzes the main problems existing in teachers'teaching evaluation language through questionnaire survey,case analysis and interview.This paper puts forward some improvement strategies for teachers'teaching evaluation language from the aspects of management,concept and use,so as to provide some reference for junior middle school art teachers'teaching evaluation language.
摘要This paper explores how artificial intelligence can be embedded into classroom teaching quality evaluation in higher education and proposes a practical framework organized around three layers:perception,analysis,and service.In response to the limited coverage of expert observation,fragmented evaluative evidence,and the weak translation of feedback into improvement,three implementation paths are developed:AI-based video analysis,AI-supported data analysis,and AI-enabled intelligent assistants.Video analysis generates traceable process evidence from classroom activities,teacher-student behaviors,and interaction patterns.Data analysis integrates AI-generated indicators,expert observation,student feedback,and teacher self-evaluation to support comparison,diagnosis,and trend tracking.Intelligent assistants provide policy interpretation,result explanation,task reminders,and improvement support for teachers,supervisors,and administrators.The paper further proposes a five-stage implementation process from data preparation to follow-up review.It argues that AI should not replace human evaluators in making final judgments,but should provide explainable and reviewable evidence for a teaching quality evaluation system moving from one-time scoring toward continuous improvement.
摘要The "Compulsory Education Geography Curriculum Standards (2022 Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standards) emphasizes that junior high school geography instruction should be oriented toward cultivating students 'core competencies, designing integrated teaching activities, developing distinctive teaching approaches, and creating an environment conducive to enhancing these competencies. The "Teach–Learn–Evaluate" integrated teaching model represents a modern pedagogical philosophy, where teachers serve as the primary instructors and students as the primary learners, complemented by comprehensive teaching evaluations throughout the entire geography curriculum. This approach better facilitates the development of students' core competencies and promotes the cultivation of their overall competence. This paper analyzes the practical strategies and outcomes of implementing the "Teach–Learn–Evaluate" integrated approach in junior high school geography classrooms.
摘要Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of standardized patient scenario simulation teaching in geriatric medicine clinical education and provide references for improving teaching methods in geriatrics.Methods:Sixty-five clinical physicians from other departments who rotated into the Geriatric Medicine Department for training between August 2024 and July 2025 were randomly divided into a control group(n=32)and an observation group(n=33).The control group received traditional centralized theoretical lectures combined with instructor-led clinical mentoring,while the observation group underwent standardized patient scenario simulation training.The two groups were compared on post-rotation examination scores and teaching satisfaction metrics.Results:The observation group achieved significantly higher post-rotation examination scores(88.37±3.04)than the control group(80.17±3.29)(p<0.01).Teaching satisfaction surveys revealed that trainees in the observation group demonstrated significantly higher satisfaction than the control group(p<0.05)regarding the teaching method’s effectiveness in enhancing learning interest,independent learning ability,comprehensive clinical problem-solving skills,patient communication skills,teamwork capabilities,and research conceptualization abilities.Conclusion:Standardized patient scenario simulation teaching effectively improves clinical teaching quality in geriatric medicine,enhances trainees’comprehensive clinical competencies,and holds value for broader application.
摘要The teaching evaluation system is an important mechanism for the quality assurance of nursing education,which can comprehensively and systematically evaluate the learning effectiveness of students,the teaching quality of teachers,and the scientificity of curriculum design.However,the current evaluation system has some problems,such as the singleness and one-sidedness of evaluation criteria,the limitations and deficiencies of evaluation methods,the singleness and subjectivity of evaluation subjects,the insufficient feedback and application of evaluation results,the disconnection between evaluation system and clinical practice,and the lack of continuous improvement mechanism.In order to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of nursing education,this paper proposes optimization strategies such as establishing diversified evaluation criteria,innovating evaluation methods and technologies,strengthening the feedback and application of evaluation results,strengthening the connection between evaluation system and clinical practice,and establishing an evaluation mechanism for continuous improvement.

摘要This study reports the design and preliminary evaluation of a smart classroom environment for undergraduate music majors. A one-semester quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design was implemented at a university in Xi’an, China, in two intact classes: an experimental group receiving smart-classroom instruction (n = 36) and a control group receiving conventional instruction (n = 36). The intervention embedded digital music resources, AI-assisted creative tools, platform-based learning activities, and data-informed feedback into regular course teaching. Data were collected from student questionnaires, platform logs, teaching records, and course-product evaluations. Seven operational indicators were compared descriptively: digital resource support, participation in smart-classroom activities, teacher-student interaction timeliness, evaluation quality, learning autonomy, student output quality, and exploratory instructional cost-efficiency. Group-level results indicated improvement in both groups, with larger descriptive gains in the experimental group. The digital resource richness index increased from 42 to 81 in the experimental group and from 43 to 65 in the control group;the cost-efficiency ratio increased from 0.60 to 0.82 and from 0.61 to 0.69, respectively. Because individual-level data were unavailable, standard deviations and inferential tests were not reported. The findings offer preliminary descriptive evidence that smart-classroom design may support resource access, participation, feedback, and self-directed learning in music-major teaching.
摘要Aiming at the problems of strong abstractness,high practical difficulty,and insufficient personalization in traditional blended teaching of the Principles of Operating Systems course,this paper deeply integrates artificial intelligence technology with blended teaching and constructs an AI-enabled blended teaching model for the operating systems course.Taking the AI support layer,teaching implementation layer,and evaluation feedback layer as the framework,this model designs an intelligent teaching process centered on pre-class,in-class,after-class,and practical teaching links,and establishes a diversified and integrated teaching evaluation system.A controlled teaching experiment was conducted in parallel classes of computer majors in a university,and the teaching effect was analyzed via score comparison,questionnaire surveys,and interviews.The results show that the model can effectively improve students’learning interest and course performance,enhance their practical operation ability,and reduce teachers’teaching burden,which can provide a reference for the teaching reform of core computer courses.
摘要This study focuses on 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan Province.By collecting data from five dimensions-academic papers,research projects,patents,teacher teaching competitions,and teaching achievement awards-between 2020 and 2023,this research analyses the current status of teaching and research at these 14 higher vocational colleges in Hainan.Also evaluated the teaching and research capabilities of these institutions via the entropy value method.The findings reveal that academic papers of high volume and quality are predominantly found in Hainan’s higher vocational colleges designated as“Double High”institutions,which possess distinct professional characteris-tics.With respect to research projects,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges con-duct scientific research grounded in provincial conditions,with a focus on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and key local industries.In terms of patents,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges place greater emphasis on the cultivation of utility model patents.With respect to teaching achievement awards,Hainan has a relatively high selection frequency,with a particular focus on participation from department heads and frontline teachers.In teacher teaching competitions,Hainan’s higher vocational colleges utilize their professional characteristics to develop competition projects centered around clusters of majors.On the basis of the results of the data analysis,recommendations are proposed for transforming research paradigms,building high-quality teaching and research teams,establishing a sustainable teaching and research evaluation system,and implementing categorized management for key and general institutions,providing a basis for enhancing teaching and research capabilities at Hainan’s higher vocational colleges.

摘要In response to prevalent issues in current etiquette classroom instruction in secondary vocational schools,such as vague teaching objectives,a singular evaluation approach,and low student engagement,this study employs the concept of“alignment among teaching,learning,and assessment”as its theoretical foundation.It thoroughly integrates the cognitive characteristics of secondary vocational students with the inherent practical demands of etiquette courses to systematically explore practical pathways for enhancing teaching effectiveness.The study constructed a trinity strategy framework of“precise goal positioning,matching activity design,and diversified dynamic evaluation.”Through key measures such as the meticulous breakdown of vocational scenario-based goals,the innovative creation of real-world situational activities,and the establishment of a multi-subject process evaluation system,it effectively promotes the deep integration and organic unity of the teaching,learning,and evaluation processes.Teaching practice has fully demonstrated that this approach can significantly stimulate students’intrinsic motivation for learning,effectively enhance their etiquette literacy and situational practical abilities,and provide solid teaching support for cultivating high-quality skilled talents that meet the demands of modern industries.
摘要Crowdsourcing is widely used in various fields to collect goods and services from large participants.Evaluating teaching quality by collecting feedback from experts or students after class is not only delayed but also not accurate.In this paper,we present a crowdsourcing-based framework to evaluate teaching quality in the classroom using a weighted average operator to aggregate information from students’questionnaires described by linguistic 2-tuple terms.Then we define crowd grade based on similarity degree to distinguish contribution from different students and minimize the abnormal students’impact on the evaluation.The crowd grade would be updated at the end of each feedback so it can guarantee the evaluation accurately.Moreover,a simulated case is shown to illustrate how to apply this framework to assess teaching quality in the classroom.Finally,we developed a prototype and carried out some experiments on a series of real questionnaires and two sets of modified data.The results show that teachers can locate the weak points of teaching and furthermore to identify the abnormal students to improve the teaching quality.Meanwhile,our approach provides a strong tolerance for the abnormal student to make the evaluation more accurate.

摘要Objective:To study the application effect of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode in clinical anesthesia practice.Method:48 students assigned to clinical anesthesia in digestive endoscopy of Shanxi Bethune Hospital from July 1,2022 to April 1,2023 were selected as research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group(PowerPoint presentation teaching group)and the observation group(short video combined with BOPPPS teaching group),with 24 students in each group.After the internship,the students’theoretical and technical scores were tested,the effects of the two teaching modes were compared,and the students’satisfaction was investigated.Results:The test scores of students in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode can significantly improve students’learning interest,operation skills,and memory(P<0.05).The students’satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:In clinical practice,the application of short video combined with BOPPPS teaching mode has achieved great effect,which is worth further promotion and research.
