This paper analyzed necessity and laws of natural and cultural resource consumption and creation activities as a branch of economics or research direction, proposed such basic frameworks of landscape economics such as connotations, basic problems and research methods on the basis of sorting out literature. Landscape economics is a social science focusing on the public preferences for natural and humanistic landscapes, and the preference evolution laws, economic laws of landscape resource consumption and creation activities. The basic problems include evaluation of landscape resource value, optimal utilization of landscape resources, landscape resource development and protection policies, formation and creation of diversified landscape structure. The research methods include investigation of consumers' willingness, experiment and behavioral economics, logical reasoning, and case study. 展开更多

In other words, pistachio trees h... Turkey is an important country which has pistachio trees in the world. The Southeastern Anatolia Project （GAP） region located in southeastern of Anatolia has all of pistachio trees. In other words, pistachio trees have grown only in GAP region. Provinces of ~anliurfa, Gaziantep and Adiyaman are in the GAP region. In this study, we have investigated problems of pistachio farmers in these cities. So, we applied survey to pistachio farmers. Then we analyzed data which we had from the surveys with SPSS. As a result, the farmers have mainly got input problems, marketing problems, processing problems, keeping problems, financial problems, labor problems and managerial problems. As a solution, pistachio farmers must set up cooperatives which help finding inputs, markets, loan, labor, manager them and come up with their problems. Government has to support pistachio farmers and price of pistachio yield, pistachio farmers must have training programs about theirs works. Finally, pistachio nuts of stock market must be surely founded. 展开更多

Purpose:This article presents an alternative interpretation of“basic principles”in moral education by reconsidering Dewey’s moral education theory,which has had profound influence on Chinese educational theory and practice.Design/Approach/Methods:Through a close analysis of Moral Principles in Education(1909),this study identifies four ideological and logical limitations in Dewey’s moral education theory.Findings:Analysis revealed four limitations in Dewey’s moral education theory.First,although“moral ideas”originate from real life,they are insufficient for developing a fully moral life.Second,the“moral trinity”is an ideal that cannot be fulfilled when exposed to reality.Third,the interpretation of“ideas about morality”needs to extend beyond examinations of their effects on behavior,particularly insofar as these ideas play a complex role in the overall development of individuals.Fourth,simply teaching ideas about morality constitutes the worst practice of“direct moral instruction.”In this respect,best practice involves cultivating moral ideas while facilitating the transformation of ideas about morality into moral ideas or vice versa.Originality/Value:The distinction between“moral ideas”and“ideas about morality”has long been considered the basic problem of moral education.This study presents another approach to the“basic problem”of moral education that complements and reinforces these concepts. 展开更多
