The m series with 511 bits is taken as an example being applied in non-coherent integra- tion algorithm. A method to choose the bi-phase code is presented, which is 15 kinds of codes are picked out of 511 kinds of m series to do non-coherent integration. It is indicated that the power in- creasing times of larger target sidelobe is less than the power increasing times of smaller target main- lobe because of the larger target' s pseudo-randomness. Smaller target is integrated from larger tar- get sidelobe, which strengthens the detection capability of radar for smaller targets. According to the sidelobes distributing characteristic, a method is presented in this paper to remove the estimated sidelobes mean value for signal detection after non-coherent integration. Simulation results present that the SNR of small target can be improved approximately 6. 5 dB by the proposed method. 展开更多

The gravitational memory effect manifests gravitational nonlinearity,degenerate vacua,and asymptotic symmetries;its detection is considered challenging.We propose using a space-borne interferometer to detect memory signals from stellar-mass binary black holes(BBHs),typically targeted by ground-based detectors.We use DECIGO detector as an example.Over 5 years,DECIGO is estimated to detect approximately 2,036 memory signals(SNRs>3)from stellar-mass BBHs.Simulations used frequency-domain memory waveforms for direct SNR estimation.Predictions utilized a GWTC-3 constrained BBH population model(Power law+Peak mass,DEFAULT spin,Madau-Dickinson merger rate).The analysis used conservative lower merger rate limits and considered orbital eccentricity.The high detection rate stems from strong memory signals within DECIGO’s bandwidth and the abundance of stellar-mass BBHs.This substantial and conservative detection count enables statistical use of the memory effect for fundamental physics and astrophysics.DECIGO exemplifies that space interferometers may better detect memory signals from smaller mass binaries than their typical targets.Detectors in lower frequency bands are expected to find strong memory signals from∼104M⊙binaries. 展开更多

Preliminary target dots information is obtained in PC, MTD, and CFAR modules and Nios I! CPU is used for target dots combination and false sidelobe target removing. Sys- tem on programmable chip (SOPC) technique is adopted in the system in which SDRAM is used to cache data. Conventional parameter estimation methods for pseudo-random binary code-linear frequency modulation(PRBC-LFM)signals require prior knowledge,are computationally complex,and exhibit poor performance at low signal-to-noise ratios(SNRs).To overcome these problems,a blind parameter estimation method based on a Duffing oscillator array is proposed.A new relationship formula among the state of the Duffing oscillator,the pseudo-random sequence of the PRBC-LFM signal,and the frequency difference between the PRBC-LFM signal and the periodic driving force signal of the Duffing oscillator is derived,providing the theoretical basis for blind parameter estimation.Methods based on amplitude method,short-time Fourier transform method,and power spectrum entropy method are used to binarize the output of the Duffing oscillator array,and their performance is compared.The pseudo-random sequence is estimated using Duffing oscillator array synchronization,and the carrier frequency parameters are obtained by the relational expressions and characteristics of the difference frequency.Simulation results show that this blind estimation method overcomes limitations in prior knowledge and maintains good parameter estimation performance up to an SNR of-35 dB. 展开更多

Simplified and close form expressions of CRB are obtained through complicated derivation, and then are applied to evaluate the performance of the cyclic estimator.The results are accurate enough and serve well as benchmark for evaluating the performance of parameter estimation method. Quark stars are, anyway, likely to be black holes, above a certain mass limit, whereas a quark star in itself obey thermodynamic “laws” which in certain ways differ from the traditional black hole models. We list some of the probable consequences of such a binary, and make predictions as to certain GW phenomenon which will have observational consequences. i.e., a GW “change in energy” from a black hole—Quark star pair would likely be within 90% of that of comparatively massed black hole—black hole binary pair. The electromagnetic “profile” of the two cases would differ dramatically, and we conclude our inquiry with an open question if a generalized uncertainty principle could play a role in comparing the 7th and 8th equations of our presentation. 展开更多

A numerical model and transmission characteristic analysis of DPSK (differential phase shift keying) pressure signals in mud channels is introduced. With the control logic analysis of the rotary valve mud telemetry, a logical control signal is built from a Gate function sequence according to the binary symbols of transmitted data and a phase-shift function is obtained by integrating the logical control signal. A mathematical model of the DPSK pressure signal is built based on principles of communications by modulating carrier phase with the phase-shift function and a numerical simulation of the pressure wave is implemented with the mathematical model by MATLAB programming. Considering drillpipe pressure and drilling fluid temperature profile along drillpipes, the drillpipe of a vertical well is divided into a number of sections. With water-based drilling fluids, the impacts of travel distance, carrier frequency, drillpipe size, and drilling fluids on the signal transmission were studied by signal transmission characteristic analysis for all the sections. Numerical calculation results indicate that the influences of the viscosity of drilling fluids and volume fraction of gas in drilling fluids on the DPSK signal transmission are more notable than the others and the signal will distort in waveform with differential attenuations of the signal frequent component. 展开更多

A novel modified optimization technique known as the multi-objective micro particle swarm optimization(MO-MicPSO)is proposed for polyphase coded signal design.The proposed MO-MicPSO requires only a small population size compared with the standard particle swarm optimization that uses a larger population size.This new method is guided by an elite archive to finish the multi-objective optimization.The orthogonal polyphase coded signal(OPCS)can fundamentally improve the multiple input multiple output(MIMO)radar system performance,with which the radar system has high resolution and abundant signal channels.Simulation results on the polyphase coded signal design show that the MO-MicPSO can perform quite well for this high-dimensional multi-objective optimized problem.Compared with particle swarm optimization or genetic algorithm,the proposed MO-MicPSO has a better optimized efficiency and less time consumption. 展开更多

Many safety-critical applications that utilize the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) demand highly accurate positioning information, as well as highly integrity and reliability. Due to GNSS signals are easily distorted by the interferences or disturbances, the signal quality monitoring (SQM) is necessary to detect the presence of dangerous signal distortions. In this paper, we developed an SQM software for binary offset carrier (BOC) modulated navigation signals. Firstly, the models of BOC signal with ideal and distortion are presented respectively. Then the architecture of SQM software is proposed. Moreover, the effect of the white gaussian noise (WGN) and the front-end filter on the correlation peak of the receiver is analyzed. Finally, the biases induced by the signal distortion are evaluated. The experiments simulate the relationships between the code phase shift and the normalized correlation value in the case of the signal digital distortion and the analog distortion. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed SQM method can effectively monitor the signal distortion and accurately estimate the correlation peak deviation caused by the distortion. 展开更多

With the advent of the Industry 5.0 era,the Internet of Things(IoT)devices face unprecedented proliferation,requiring higher communications rates and lower transmission delays.Considering its high spectrum efficiency,the promising filter bank multicarrier(FBMC)technique using offset quadrature amplitude modulation(OQAM)has been applied to Beyond 5G(B5G)industry IoT networks.However,due to the broadcasting nature of wireless channels,the FBMC-OQAMindustry IoT network is inevitably vulnerable to adversary attacks frommalicious IoT nodes.The FBMC-OQAMindustry cognitive radio network(ICRNet)is proposed to ensure security at the physical layer to tackle the above challenge.As a pivotal step of ICRNet,blind modulation recognition(BMR)can detect and recognize the modulation type of malicious signals.The previous works need to accomplish the BMR task of FBMC-OQAM signals in ICRNet nodes.A novel FBMC BMR algorithm is proposed with the transform channel convolution network(TCCNet)rather than a complicated two-dimensional convolution.Firstly,this is achieved by designing a low-complexity binary constellation diagram(BCD)gridding matrix as the input of TCCNet.Then,a transform channel convolution strategy is developed to convert the image-like BCD matrix into a serieslike data format,accelerating the BMR process while keeping discriminative features.Monte Carlo experimental results demonstrate that the proposed TCCNet obtains a performance gain of 8%and 40%over the traditional inphase/quadrature(I/Q)-based and constellation diagram(CD)-based methods at a signal noise ratio(SNR)of 12 dB,respectively.Moreover,the proposed TCCNet can achieve around 29.682 and 2.356 times faster than existing CD-Alex Network(CD-AlexNet)and I/Q-Convolutional Long Deep Neural Network(I/Q-CLDNN)algorithms,respectively. 展开更多

Chaotic oscillator system is a typical non-lin- ear system which is sensitive to periodic signals and immune to noise at the same time. Those properties make it possible to detect low signal-to-noise ratio signals. The BPSK signal is a common signal type which is widely used in modern communication. Starting from the analysis of advantages of chaotic, os~.illator system and signal features of the BPSK signal, we put forward a unique method that can detect low signar-to-noise ratio BPSK sig- nals with high frequency. The simulation results show that the novel method can dclct.t low signal-to-noise ratio BPSK signals with frequency in an order of magnitude of l0s Hz, and the input Signal-to-Noise Ratio threshold can be -20 dB. 展开更多

Recently,as recognizing emotion has been one of the hallmarks of affective computing,more attention has been paid to physiological signals for emotion recognition.This paper presented an approach to emotion recognition using ElectroCardioGraphy(ECG) signals from multiple subjects.To collect reliable affective ECG data,we applied an arousal method by movie clips to make subjects experience specific emotions without external interference.Through precise location of P-QRS-T wave by continuous wavelet transform,an amount of ECG features was extracted sufficiently.Since feature selection is a combination optimization problem,Improved Binary Particle Swarm Optimization(IBPSO) based on neighborhood search was applied to search out effective features to improve classification results of emotion states with the help of fisher or K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN) classifier.In the experiment,it is shown that the approach is successful and the effective features got from ECG signals can express emotion states excellently. 展开更多

A new acquisition and tracking method is proposed for signal processing under the new signal system structure of Beidou-3 navigation satellite system(BDS-3). By starting with the analysis of the characteristics and signal structure of the new signal, the local replica of the ranging code and the study of the characteristics of the ranging code are completed, which proves that the method in this paper can be used in the subsequent acquisition and tracking process. The fast Fourier transformation(FFT) search based on longer coherence time and the adaptive phase-frequency switching carrier tracking loop are proposed for signals in different modulation modes. The actual signal of Beidou-3 satellite is sampled by local experiment, and the acquisition and tracking of the Beidou-3 satellite multi-band signal is finally completed. The tracking results verify the feasibility of the proposed acquisition and tracking method. 展开更多

A fundamental problem in some applications including group testing and communications is to acquire the support of a K-sparse signal x,whose nonzero elements are 1,from an underdetermined noisy linear model.This paper first designs an algorithm called binary least squares(BLS)to reconstruct x and analyzes its complexity.Then,we establish two sufficient conditions for the exact reconstruction of x’s support with K iterations of BLS based on the mutual coherence and restricted isometry property of the measurement matrix,respectively.Finally,extensive numerical tests are performed to compare the efficiency and effectiveness of BLS with those of batch orthogonal matching pursuit(BatchOMP)which to our best knowledge is the fastest implementation of OMP,orthogonal least squares(OLS),compressive sampling matching pursuit(CoSaMP),hard thresholding pursuit(HTP),Newton-step-based iterative hard thresholding(NSIHT),Newton-step-based hard thresholding pursuit(NSHTP),binary matching pursuit(BMP)andΙ1-regularized least squares.Test results show that:(1)BLS can be 10-200 times more efficient than Batch-OMP,OLS,CoSaMP,HTP,NSIHT and NSHTP with higher probability of support reconstruction,and the improvement can be 20%-80%;(2)BLS has more than 25%improvement on the support reconstruction probability than the explicit BMP algorithm with a little higher computational complexity;(3)BLS is around 100 times faster thanΙ1regularized least squares with lower support reconstruction probability for small K and higher support reconstruction probability for large K.Numerical tests on the generalized space shift keying(GSSK)detection indicate that although BLS is a little slower than BMP,it is more efficient than the other seven tested sparse recovery algorithms,and although it is less effective thanΙ1-regularized least squares,it is more effective than the other seven algorithms. 展开更多

合成孔径激光雷达可用较小口径实现高分辨率成像,在天基空间目标观测方面具有重要应用价值,但存在波束宽度窄、覆盖范围有限、目标搜索捕获困难等问题。为了解决这些问题,采用一种主动激光与被动红外复合的天基合成孔径激光雷达空间目... 合成孔径激光雷达可用较小口径实现高分辨率成像,在天基空间目标观测方面具有重要应用价值,但存在波束宽度窄、覆盖范围有限、目标搜索捕获困难等问题。为了解决这些问题,采用一种主动激光与被动红外复合的天基合成孔径激光雷达空间目标成像系统,分析了系统指标,给出了成像仿真结果。结果表明,通过激光/红外共孔径实现了系统轻量化;综合使用圆偏振激光发射信号和正交线偏振两通道接收信号,结合顺轨干涉处理,解决了退偏和目标/平台振动问题;通过红外相机可实现目标搜索和跟踪,采用10 ns脉宽窄脉冲激光信号可实施目标测距和测速,使用10 ns脉宽、4 GHz带宽优化二进制相移键控信号,可实现0.10 m实时低分辨率成像和0.05 m高分辨率成像。系统设计方案对天基合成孔径激光雷达的研制具有参考价值。 展开更多

针对变分模态分解算法在处理多分量、非平稳机械振动信号时,性能受模态数量、二次惩罚参数及更新步长等关键因素严重影响的问题,提出了一种基于二叉树机制的自适应变分模态分解算法。以待分解信号的加权精细多尺度反向散布熵作为二次惩... 针对变分模态分解算法在处理多分量、非平稳机械振动信号时,性能受模态数量、二次惩罚参数及更新步长等关键因素严重影响的问题,提出了一种基于二叉树机制的自适应变分模态分解算法。以待分解信号的加权精细多尺度反向散布熵作为二次惩罚参数设定的依据,通过信号噪声程度调节算法更新步长,借助二分法机制持续将原始信号进行分解。不断优化二次惩罚参数与更新步长,将所得到分量之间的最小二乘互信息和重构误差构成作为分解完成评价指标,并对特征相似度较高的模态进行合并。算法综合考虑了模态提取性能所受内嵌参数的共同影响。通过仿真数据及实测机械振动信号验证,所提算法复杂度低,可有效缓解频带相近模态之间的混叠问题,完全自适应地提取振动信号特征模态。 展开更多
