The advancement of marine fishery constitutes a vital element in the endeavor to build a maritime power and safeguard food security.In light of the strategic requirements of the national marine fishery and marine ranching,In this article,three pivotal aspects are focused on:marine fishery environmental monitoring systems,core monitoring equipment,and key monitoring techniques.A feasibility assessment of the integrated implementation was conducted,probing into the interplay between the development of the marine economy and the marine fishery environment.Notably,the significance of establishing a sound marine fishery environmental monitoring system was underscored.Through in-depth analysis and systematic collation,a comprehensive understanding of the status of demands,industrial policies,technical capabilities,and future trends in the global marine fishery environmental monitoring system was analyzed.In addition,the core challenges and strategic approaches confronting the development of China's marine fishery environmental monitoring system were clarified.In the near future,by practical development requirements,an ecosystem with monitoring platforms and sensors will be gradually established.Novel organizational models will be explored with key technologies,and major scientific schemes and core tasks in this field will be put forward.In combination with relevant policies regarding fishery environmental monitoring,constructive suggestions for industrial development were provided,and future direction for its progress was outlined. 展开更多

As a clean,low-carbon,efficient and renewable energy source,hydrogen has gradually become an important energy carrier to combat climate change and achieve sustainable development in the world.China is now facing the stress of realizing the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals,where hydrogen will play a significant role.Against this backdrop,to develop China's hydrogen strategy under the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals,this paper explores the hydrogen resource endowment in China,presents the concepts such as Hydrogen Ethics and the Hu's Hydrogen Line,and discusses the status quo and existing advantages in hydrogen production,storage,transport and utilization in China.Six major obstacles and challenges that China's hydrogen energy industry is facing are pointed out,i.e.cost problem,inadequate hydrogen infrastructures,low energy efficiency mismatching the development progress of renewable energy,insufficient market demand,shortcomings in technology,and imperfect policy system.Finally,five policy suggestions for the future development of China's hydrogen energy industry are proposed as follows:(1)make an action plan as a response to the national hydrogen development plan;(2)build an international and domestic double-cycle hydrogen economic system;(3)incorporate hydrogen into the establishment of a clean,low-carbon,safe and efficient energy system;(4)accelerate the technological innovation to form advanced hydrogen technologies;and(5)construct hydrogen-oriented industrial clusters/parks to expand the hydrogen utilization market.It is concluded that for meeting the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals,China should leverage the dual advantages of hydrogen as an energy carrier and an industrial raw material,allowing the hydrogen industry to play a synergistic role in ensuring the country's energy security,promoting the socio-economic transformation and upgrading,and protecting the ecological environment,thereby providing a technical option and support for China to achieve the ultimate goal of carbon neutrality. 展开更多

Under China's goal of carbon neutrality,there is a huge demand for carbon dioxide(CO2)capture,utilization,and storage technology(CCUS).CO2 transport,as a crucial link in the CCUS industrial chain,will inevitably rely on the construction of long-distance CO2 pipelines and infrastructure.Due to the late start and small scale of China's CO2 pipeline construction,and the relative lag in related technologies and policies,it is urgent to make systematical planning and achieve relevant technological breakthroughs for the future construction of CO2 pipeline network as a public infrastructure.Therefore,a three-stage pipeline development path is proposed based on the analysis of the spatial distribution characteristics and the temporal pattern of large-scale commercial development of CO2 carbon sources and storage in China.Moreover,solutions and suggestions are proposed upon the developments analysis in China from the perspectives of pipeline transportation technology,safety evaluation,materials and equipment,and integrity.The results show that the construction of CO2 pipeline network as an important CCUS infrastructure will accelerate with the development of the global CCUS industry;the spatial distribution of CO2 emission sources and storage is unbalanced in China,with 65.8%from the eastern and central China,and CO2flooding and geological storage contributing to most of large-scale CO2 pipeline transportation.The conclusions are as follows.First,the three-stage development path is a million-ton demonstration project of supercritical CO2 transmission pipeline before China peaks carbon emissions.After the achievement of carbon peak,a 10 million-ton regional network architecture of CO2 pipeline network centered on basins will be built,and trunk pipelines between regions will be formed before achieving carbon neutrality,establishing the national carbon transmission network with a transportation capacity of 10108 ton,and a total mileage of approximately 6104 km.Second,we should carry out research on the technology and equipment for the full phase CO2 pipeline transportation onshore and offshore,improve the domestic pipeline transportation technology,and promote the continuous improvement of the regulatory system in the pipeline transportation industry,so as to facilitate the implementation of demonstration projects. 展开更多

The Western Development Strategy(WDS)is a key aspect of China’s coordinated regional development strategy and effort to build a modern country.The world is undergoing profound changes that have not been witnessed in a century.This paper discusses the WDS’s importance in regards to China’s modernization drive and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.First,this paper identifies the WDS’s mission to improve people’s livelihood in China’s western regions,promote common prosperity for the Eurasian continent,and support the green transition of China’s and Eurasian energy economic and environmental systems,and safeguard ecological security in Asia at large.Second,this paper suggests that the key to the WDS is to reshape the geographical layout of economic activity in the western regions to avoid inefficiency.Specifically,China should develop a compact geographical layout of economic activity in the western regions,introduce a unique competition strategy,as well as find solutions for coordinated regional development based on key river basins.Finally,develop smart internet and inland free ports within the western regions. 展开更多

The purpose of this article is to classify the regional economic types and development dynamics of small towns in suburb Beijing by applying the classification methods developed by Nelson's method and Location Quotient method into 183 small towns in Beijing.Four types of small towns are thus identified,including urban agriculture dominated towns,manufacturing dominated towns,service industry dominated towns and comprehensive type towns with balanced economic development.Within the environment of geographical information system,the spatial distribution pattern of four types of small towns with their evolution trend is analyzed.The results indicate that four types of small towns have obvious'core-periphery'spatial structure but with different functional orientations and evolution mechanisms.Based on this,the different development strategies for each type of small towns are summarized,providing a scientific reference for the differentiating planning and development strategies of these small towns. 展开更多

In this paper, the theories and techniques related to the business environment and strategy are used to make an analysis of the companys development objectives. According to the analysis of the environment and internal conditions of CPDEC, we suggest adoping the strategic measures for reaching the development objectives on the basis of the SWOT (the acronym of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis method.
