The assessment of building performance plays a crucial role in achieving sustainability objectives within the construction industry.In recent years,stakeholders have been increasingly focused on evaluating smart buildings(SBs)performance.Numerous methods,criteria,and tools have been developed to measure performance,but most of them primarily concentrate on the overall building level,neglecting the system level of buildings.To tackle this complexity and promote sustainability,it is essential to establish systematic,comprehensive,and practical approaches for evaluating smart building performance.This study proposes an evaluation model for smart buildings performance,encompassing 24 core performance indicators at both the whole building and system levels.The relevance and validity of these indicators were evaluated through a questionnaire survey,along with input from sustainable building experts.This research is part of a broader project aimed at developing a decision support system to assess sustainable building performance and enhance the sustainability of building projects. 展开更多

The efficiency of biochar-modified bioretention system(BRS)in runoff pollutants removal and carbon reduction has attracted increasing attention.In this study,BRS modified with coconut shell biochar and corn stalk biochar at different ratios(2%,4%and 6%)were constructed to investigate their synergistic efficiency.The influence of different initial chemical oxygen demand(COD)concentrations,ambient temperatures,rainfall intensities and drying periods were investigated.The results showed that coconut shell biochar could improve the COD removal efficiency while reducing carbon dioxide(CO2)emission fluxes of BRS together,while the effect was significantly better than that of corn stalk biochar.Meanwhile,coconut shell biochar increased the abundance of Proteobacteria and Actinobacteriota by up to 31.43%and 24.76%,thereby enhancing pollutant degradation and carbon sequestration efficiency in BRS.With the addition of 4%coconut shell biochar in BRS,the synergistic efficiency was best that COD removal rate was up to 98.15%and CO2emission flux was only 246.38 mg/(m2∙d).Furthermore,the study found that lower initial COD concentration,moderate ambient temperature and heavier rainfall intensity could all improve the synergistic efficiency of runoff pollutants removal and carbon reduction in BRS.Prediction equations could directly calculate the COD removal rate and CO2emission fluxes of BRS under different independent variables.This study provided a theoretical basis for the synergistic efficiency of pollutant removal and carbon reduction in biochar-modified BRS. 展开更多

The characterization of interwell section architecture is critical for revealing reservoir lateral heterogeneity and connectivity.This process integrates well and seismic data with geological knowledge yet faces inherent multiple solutions.Current characterization methods remain hampered by high levels of manual intervention,insufficient automation,and difficulties in evaluating the uncertainty of interwell section architecture.To address these challenges,this study presents an intelligent method for the automated characterization of reservoir architecture along section directions based on a Bayesian expert system.The approach quantifies domain knowledge via prior normal distributions.By utilizing well and seismic data,Bayesian probabilistic reasoning infers the guiding influence of each individual piece of domain knowledge on predicting the interwell distribution of architectural elements.A weighted ensemble decision framework then integrates these inferences to determine the interwell distributions of architectural elements and associated uncertainties.Case studies demonstrate that the method effectively evaluates uncertainty,generates geologically consistent section characterizations,achieves 81%consistency in blind well sand body predictions,and excels in delineating the lateral boundaries and contact relationships of architectural elements. 展开更多

The exponential growth of video content has driven significant advancements in video summarization techniques in recent years. Breakthroughs in deep learning have been particularly transformative, enabling more effective detection of key information and creating new possibilities for video synopsis. To summarize recent progress and accelerate research in this field,this paper provides a comprehensive review of deep learningbased video summarization methods developed over the past decade. We begin by examining the research landscape of video abstraction technologies and identifying core challenges in video summarization. Subsequently, we systematically analyze prevailing deep learning frameworks and methodologies employed in current video summarization systems, offering researchers a clear roadmap of the field's evolution. Unlike previous review works,we first classify research papers based on the structural hierarchy of the video(from frame-level to shot-level to video-level),then further categorize them according to the summary backbone model(feature extraction and spatiotemporal modeling).This approach provides a more systematic and hierarchical organization of the documents. Following this comprehensive review,we summarize the benchmark datasets and evaluation metrics commonly employed in the field. Finally, we analyze persistent challenges and propose insightful directions for future research,providing a forward-looking perspective on video summarization technologies. This systematic literature review is of great reference value to new researchers exploring the fields of deep learning and video summarization. 展开更多

BACKGROUND:Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation(APACHE)scores are widely used in emergency medicine and critical care settings,yet their prognostic accuracy for sepsis-related mortality across different versions remains to be assessed thoroughly.This study aimed to compare the pooled prognostic performance of APACHEⅡ,Ⅲ,andⅣin predicting in-hospital mortality in patients with sepsis.METHODS:We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis by searching for articles in the Pub Med,Embase,Web of Science,and Cochrane databases,with a publication date range from February 23,2016,to June 8,2024.Random effects models were employed to analyse pooled data,focusing on key metrics such as the area under the curve(AUC),diagnostic odds ratio(DOR),sensitivity,specificity,positive likelihood ratio(PLR),and negative likelihood ratio(NLR).RESULTS:A total of 33 articles were analyzed,3 of which examined multiple APACHE scores.These articles collectively involved 60,041 patients:25 articles with 9,619 patients assessed APACHEⅡ,4 articles with 32,862 patients assessed APACHEⅢ,and 8 articles with 21,741 patients assessed APACHEⅣ.The AUC for in-hospital mortality improved progressively across versions:0.75(95%CI 0.66–0.83)for APACHEⅡ,0.81(95%CI 0.73–0.89)for APACHEⅢ,and 0.85(95%CI:0.78–0.92)for APACHEⅣ.APACHEⅣshowed numerically more favorable pooled prognostic estimates,with a DOR of 2.76(95%CI 2.08–3.78),sensitivity of 0.78(95%CI 0.66–0.86),specificity of 0.83(95%CI 0.68–0.92),PLR of 4.29(95%CI 2.33–7.89),and NLR of 0.28(95%CI 0.17–0.46).CONCLUSION:APACHEⅣdemonstrated the superior prognostic accuracy to the other versions for sepsis-related mortality.With the increasing adoption of automated calculations through standardized software,APACHEⅣmight be incorporated into routine clinical workflows. 展开更多

Large Language Models(LLMs)are becoming integral components of modern cybersecurity ecosystems,simultaneously strengthening defensive capabilities while giving rise to a new class of Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content(AIGC)-driven threats.This PRISMA-guided systematic review synthesises 167 peer-reviewed studies published between 2022 and 2025 and proposes a unified threat-defence-evaluation taxonomy as a central analytical framework to consolidate a previously fragmented body of research.Guided by this taxonomy,the review first examines AIGC-enabled threats,including automated and highly personalised phishing,polymorphic malware and exploit generation,jailbreak and adversarial prompting,prompt-injection attack vectors,multimodal deception,persona-steering attacks,and large-scale disinformation campaigns.The surveyed evidence indicates a qualitative escalation in adversarial capabilities,with LLMs significantly enhancing scalability,adaptability,and realism while markedly reducing the technical barriers to conducting sophisticated attacks.Second,the review analyses LLM-enabled defensive applications spanning intrusion and anomaly detection,malware analysis and log-semantic modelling,multilingual threat intelligence extraction,vulnerability discovery and code repair,and Security Operations Center(SOC)automation through Retrieval-Augmented Generation(RAG)and multi-agent systems.Although these approaches demonstrate strong potential as semantic reasoning and decision-support components within hybrid security architectures,their real-world effectiveness remains constrained by hallucination risks,adversarial susceptibility,distributional shifts,and operational overhead.Third,the review synthesises current security evaluation and red-teaming practices,revealing a fragmented assessment landscape characterised by narrow benchmarks,inconsistent evaluation metrics,and limited longitudinal robustness analysis.Overall,the taxonomy-driven synthesis highlights a structurally imbalanced ecosystem in which offensive innovation outpaces defensive maturity and governance,and it informs a structured,research-question-aligned roadmap for developing trustworthy,resilient,and policy-aligned LLM-powered cybersecurity systems. 展开更多

A machine learning-based APP may quickly and non-destructively evaluate the quality of parameters,such as hardness and anthocyanin content in blue honeysuckle berries(Lonicera caerulea L.,BHB),based on changes in pericarp color characteristics.The color feature information of the BHB pericarp was extracted,and the corresponding hardness and anthocyanin content were determined at various growing stages.Correlation analysis of BHB quality indexes was conducted by single and combined components of BHB epidermal color features.The results showed that fruit hardness had a significantly negative correlation with color feature parameter R-G,and its anthocyanin content had a significantly positive correlation with color feature parameter R.Comparing the eight models,random forest(RF)was established to evaluate the hardness and anthocyanin content of BHB according to the correlation between pericarp color features and hardness and anthocyanin content on BHB quality evaluation APP on the WeChat platform.The credibility of APP embedding RF model for evaluating hardness and anthocyanin content in BHB was validated with the determination coefficient of 0.89 and 0.93 in practice.This approach could efficiently and conveniently evaluate the quality indexes of BHB in real time and serve as a technical reference for the detection of quality indicators of other berries using smartphones. 展开更多

China's PM2.5levels have significantly declined over the past decade due to stringent air pollution controls.However,severe autumn and winter haze events persist,posing short-term acute health risks.Since 2016,seasonal air pollution mitigation campaigns have been implemented,yet an unexpected large-scale haze event during the 2023–2024 New Year in eastern China raised public concerns about the effectiveness of current measures.This study,using a meteorological normalization method based on random forest,found a sharp decrease in PM2.5emission strength on January 1,2024,which is causally linked to emergency control measures.Dispersion-normalized PMF analysis identified secondary nitrate(47.4%),secondary sulfate(17.4%),and vehicle emissions(10.1%)as major PM2.5sources,indicating a typical chemistry-dominant haze event driven by secondary formation.The meteorologically normalized PM2.5levels dropped 17%after the implementation of emergency emission reduction measures,leading to a general decrease in the concentrations of most PM2.5chemical species and source contributions.Particularly,emergency control measures accounted for 73%and 66%of the PM2.5reduction from coal combustion and industrial emissions,respectively.These findings demonstrate that short-term,targeted interventions—particularly those aimed at key stationary emission sources—can effectively suppress peak pollution concentrations and mitigate the severity of haze events,even under unfavorable meteorological conditions.This study offers actionable insights for improving emergency air pollution control strategies and supports more accountable,evidence-based environmental governance in future haze episodes. 展开更多

In the development of water flooding reservoirs,enhancing oil recovery often requires implementing measures tailored to the reservoir's specific characteristics.A critical step in this process is evaluating the remaining oil potential,which directly influences the effectiveness of recovery strategies.However,evaluating the remaining oil potential in large reservoirs is challenging due to reservoir heterogeneity and complex well patterns.Existing evaluation methods are often cumbersome and lack intuitiveness.To address these issues,this study proposes a novel method for evaluating remaining oil potential by utilizing reservoir dynamic connectivity and remaining oil abundance.This method draws upon the adva ntages of the Eikonal equation in accu rately describing the pressure wavefront and its propagation speed.By replacing traditional analytical methods with bivariate mapping,this approach effectively visualizes and correlates dynamic and static attributes.On this basis,the reservoir is classified into four regions:uneconomic/awaiting measures,low-efficiency waterflooding,major potential,and primary production.The potential of each region is intuitively analyzed and evaluated,offering clear insights into development status,untapped potential,and optimal strategies for reservoirs within each region.The application of this method to the M oilfield in the Bohai Sea yielded promising results across three distinct scenarios aimed at enhancing recovery:horizontal well water control,injection-production system optimization,and infill horizontal well deployment.These successful outcomes highlight the applicability of this method to complex,large-scale reservoirs and highlight its potential as a valuable tool for guiding recovery strategies in other challenging reservoir environments. 展开更多

Based on the generalized reduced R-matrix theory,the R-matrix analysis code(RAC program)was used to analyze the experimental data of all the nuclear reaction channels related to the 5 He system.The current calculations provide accurate and reliable evaluation data and are in good agreement with the experimental data.In this study,self-consistent evaluation data for each reaction were obtained using multi-channel and multi-energy fitting.In particular,the error propagation theory of generalized least squares was used to determine the error of the evaluation data and the covariance matrix of the integral cross section.This R-matrix analysis for the 5 He system has three features.First,for the first time,the error in the evaluation data of the T(d,n)4He reaction cross section and the covariance matrix of the integral cross section are provided.Second,we used only one set of R-matrix parameters to depict the reaction cross section of each reaction channel of the 5 He system for the entire energy region in our work.Third,in this evaluation,we considered some of the latest measured experimental data,especially after 2000.The T(d,n)4He reaction cross section at 0.1 MeV and below was carefully studied.The effect of different energy levels in T(d,n)4He was analyzed,with the energy levels 3/2+making a major contribution to the cross section,and the role of the S-wave and P-wave from 3/2~-determines the lean forward trend of the angular distributions at 0.01–0.1 MeV. 展开更多

Online Public Opinion Reports consolidate news and social media for timely crisis management by governments and enterprises.While large language models(LLMs)enable automated report generation,this specific domain lacks formal task definitions and corresponding benchmarks.To bridge this gap,we define the Automated Online Public Opinion Report Generation(OPOR-Gen)task and construct OPOR-Bench,an event-centric dataset with 463 crisis events across 108 countries(comprising 8.8 K news articles and 185 K tweets).To evaluate report quality,we propose OPOR-Eval,a novel agent-based framework that simulates human expert evaluation.Validation experiments show OPOR-Eval achieves a high Spearman’s correlation(ρ=0.70)with human judgments,though challenges in temporal reasoning persist.This work establishes an initial foundation for advancing automated public opinion reporting research. 展开更多

LargeLanguageModels(LLMs)are increasingly appliedinthe fieldof code translation.However,existing evaluation methodologies suffer from two major limitations:(1)the high overlap between test data and pretraining corpora,which introduces significant bias in performance evaluation;and(2)mainstream metrics focus primarily on surface-level accuracy,failing to uncover the underlying factors that constrain model capabilities.To address these issues,this paper presents TCode(Translation-Oriented Code Evaluation benchmark)—a complexity-controllable,contamination-free benchmark dataset for code translation—alongside a dedicated static feature sensitivity evaluation framework.The dataset is carefully designed to control complexity along multiple dimensions—including syntactic nesting and expression intricacy—enabling both broad coverage and fine-grained differentiation of sample difficulty.This design supports precise evaluation of model capabilities across a wide spectrum of translation challenges.The proposed evaluation framework introduces a correlation-driven analysis mechanism based on static program features,enabling predictive modeling of translation success from two perspectives:Code Form Complexity(e.g.,code length and character density)and Semantic Modeling Complexity(e.g.,syntactic depth,control-flow nesting,and type system complexity).Empirical evaluations across representative LLMs—including Qwen2.5-72B and Llama3.3-70B—demonstrate that even state-of-the-art models achieve over 80% compilation success on simple samples,but their accuracy drops sharply below 40% on complex cases.Further correlation analysis indicates that Semantic Modeling Complexity alone is correlated with up to 60% of the variance in translation success,with static program features exhibiting nonlinear threshold effects that highlight clear capability boundaries.This study departs fromthe traditional accuracy-centric evaluation paradigm and,for the first time,systematically characterizes the capabilities of large languagemodels in translation tasks through the lens of programstatic features.The findings provide actionable insights for model refinement and training strategy development. 展开更多

The construction of spot electricity markets plays a pivotal role in power system reforms,where market clearing systems profoundly influence market efficiency and security.Current clearing systems predominantly adopt a single-system architecture,with research focusing primarily on accelerating solution algorithms through techniques such as high-efficiency parallel solvers and staggered decomposition of mixed-integer programming models.Notably absent are systematic studies evaluating the adaptability of primary-backup clearing systems incontingency scenarios—a critical gap given redundant systems’expanding applications in operational environments.This paper proposes a comprehensive evaluation framework for analyzing dual-system adaptability,demonstrated through an in-depth case study of the Inner Mongolia power market.First,we establish the innovative“Dual-Active Heterogeneous”architecture that enables independent parallelized operation and fault-isolated redundancy.Subsequently,key performance indices are quantitatively evaluated across four critical dimensions:unit commitment decisions,generator output constraints,transmission section congestion patterns,and clearing price formation mechanisms.An integrated fuzzy evaluation methodology incorporating grey relational analysis is employed for objective indicator weighting,enabling systematic quantification of system superiority under specific grid operating states.Empirical results based on actual operational data from 200 generation units demonstrate the framework’s efficacy in guiding optimal system selection,with particularly strong performance observed during peak load periods.The proposed approach shows high generalization potential for other regional markets employing redundant clearing mechanisms—particularly those with increasing renewable penetration and associated uncertainty. 展开更多

In the present study,researchers examined a solar off-grid-connected photovoltaic system for a family house in the city of Baghdad.The design was created with the help of the“How to Design PV Program”and the“Renewable Energy Investment Calculator(REICAL)”software(Version 1.1).In Iraq,the national grid provides around 71%of the overall electricity demand,though this drops to nearly 50%during extremely hot and cold months,where the supply alternates between four hours on and four hours off.During the off periods,power is generated by local generators at high costs.To promote the adoption of photovoltaic solar systems among Iraqi citizens through loans,three options for meeting 100% of electricity needs have been proposed:an on-grid solution,a hybrid system that supplies 24 h,and an off-grid solution for a 24-h supply.The 12-h off-grid system(hybrid)is both economical and efficient for delivering electricity.Findings reveal that,over 20 years,the system’s output will amount to 141,176.71 kWh,with a payback period of 5.85 years and a performance ratio of 86.2%.Investment outcome data showed a net present value of $6445,and the profitability index was 6.16,indicating the project’s profitability.Additionally,the system could result in a net reduction of CO2 emissions totaling 132,810.24 kg. 展开更多

China’s rapid economic growth has long relied on a model of large-scale urban land acquisition and transfer,which is now increasingly constrained by central government policies.In response,local governments have implemented the“Area-Based Evaluation Mechanism”Reform to reallocate land resources to more efficient enterprises;however,the specific effects of this reform remain unclear.This study investigates the economic impact of China’s“Area-Based Evaluation Mechanism”Reform using panel data on 2530 county-level units from 2011 to 2020 and a multiperiod difference-in-differences model.The results show that the reform increased county-level economic growth by approximately 1.4 percentage points in the baseline case.Two mechanisms are identified:(1)a positive incentive channel,which reduces resource misallocation between efficient and inefficient enterprises by 0.254 units;and(2)a reverse pressure channel,which drives enterprises to increase R&D investment by 0.207,boosts innovation output by 0.119,and thereby enhances total factor productivity by 0.283.Heterogeneity analyses reveal that the reform’s effects are more pronounced in eastern and Yangtze River Delta regions,counties with higher land output values,and those with a lower proportion of industrial activity.In contrast,the impact is limited in inland regions,areas with lower land output values,and regions with higher industrial proportions.These results remain robust after a series of tests and suggest that promoting economic growth through land reform requires advancing market-oriented approaches to fully utilize the market mechanism.The study offers practical implications for designing more effective and incentive-compatible governance frameworks. 展开更多

The offshore rocket recovery tower is an essential infrastructure for reusable space transportation.To address the lack of design methods and quantitative performance evaluation approaches for prestressed cable-stayed bracing systems under asymmetric and complex loading,this study develops an asymmetric two-stage prestressed cable-stayed bracing system for a large-scale offshore recovery tower with a height of 67 m and plan dimensions of 54 m×70 m.Dual-platform finite element models were established in MIDAS Gen and SAP2000,and 292 full-condition load combinations were analyzed using a nonlinear step-by-step inheritance algorithm.In parallel,a refined Abaqus solid model was employed to verify the core load-bearing joint locally.Prestressing reduced the maximum X-direction deformation under transportation conditions from 263.2 to 222.1 mm,yielding safety margins of 14.6% and 17.5% in the X-and Y-directions,respectively.The stresses in the main structural members were markedly improved―the Q460 truss and beam elements satisfied the allowable-stress limits,whereas the Q355 truss elements remained only slightly above the limit.The local maximum von Mises stress at the inner pulley block joint reached 891.9 MPa,indicating a risk of local yielding.These results demonstrate that the asymmetric prestressed cable-stayed bracing system can effectively enhance the global stiffness and forcetransfer performance of large-scale offshore recovery towers,and that the full-process analytical framework established in this study provides a theoretical basis and engineering reference for the design and performance evaluation of analogous offshore aerospace support structures. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Atopic dermatitis(AD)is a long-term inflammatory skin disease that requires prolonged management with systemic therapy.Treatment with lebrikizumab results in apoptosis of effector T helper 2 cells that produce interleukin-13.AIM To conduct a systematic literature review on the comparative efficacy of lebrikizumab monotherapy vs other approved biologics and the short-term efficacy of Janus kinase inhibitors in moderate-to-severe AD in adults and adolescents.METHODS A systematic database search was conducted to identify randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled phase 2 and phase 3 trials of lebrikizumab,dupilumab,tralokinumab,abrocitinib,baricitinib,and upadacitinib used as monotherapy,from database inception through December 2025.Efficacy measurements comprised Eczema Area and Severity Index(EASI)responses,Investigator Global Assessment(IGA)0/1,and pruritus Numeric Rating Scale improvements.Two independent reviewers screened studies,and inter-reviewer agreement was assessed using Cohen's kappa statistic.The Cochrane Risk of Bias tool and the Grading of Recommendations Assessment,Development and Evaluation system assessed the quality of the evidence,with data extraction performed by independent reviewers.RESULTS A total of 28 studies with 10847 patients were evaluated(22 from the previous review and six new studies).The level of agreement among reviewers for study selection was substantial,with a kappa statistic of 0.89.Dosing intervals are reported as every 2 weeks(Q2W).According to 22 trials of network meta-analysis,lebrikizumab 250 mg Q2W was as effective as dupilumab 300 mg Q2W for IGA 0/1.There was an equal improvement in EASI and itch score at weeks 12-16.Lebrikizumab was more efficacious than tralokinumab and baricitinib on outcomes.A total of 2316 patients were included in six new studies designed to confirm these results in real-world evidence settings 2024-2025,with EASI-75 and IGA 0/1 response rates of 65%-78%and 58%-72%,respectively.Data on a two-year extension demonstrated sustained efficacy and acceptable safety.The risk of bias generally resulted in moderate-quality evidence.CONCLUSION An updated review of 28 studies shows that lebrikizumab is at least as efficacious as dupilumab and more efficacious than tralokinumab in moderate-to-severe AD.There is real-world and long-term data to support its first-line use with moderate to high certainty,but complete,736 trials,head-to-head trials,and biomarker research remain needed. 展开更多
