Dope dyeing technology offers a cost-effective and simple solution for producing colored photovoltaic encapsulation films on a large scale.The dispersion quality of micro amount of pigments is critical for light transmittance and photoelectric conversion efficiency.To achieve the uniform dispersion,mixing performance of pigments using a twin-screw extruder and a cavity transfer mixer(CTM)was comparatively investigated under identical processing conditions.Qualitative analysis was evaluated through electron microscopy of agglomerate and element distribution.Quantitative analysis was evaluated by CIE L*A*B*color space and color difference.The results revealed that CTM-processed samples,under identical conditions,achieved a significantly higher degree of dispersion uniformity.Building on this,the study systematically analyzed the impact of varied operational parameters within the CTM on both mixing and color performance.This provides a crucial foundation and a feasible strategy for developing multi-colored solar encapsulation films with enhanced visual characteristics. 展开更多

Hydrogen is an important clean energy carrier that contributes to the carbon neutrality by reducing the dependence on fossil fuels.As its role in the global energy system continues to expand,the demand for the hydrogen blended natural gas transportation is steadily rising,which brings a new challenge of the uniform mixing for the safe and efficient long-distance transmission.In this study,the mixing performance of the Sulzer SMV static mixer for hydrogen blending in natural gas pipelines is investigated numerically.Using the large eddy simulation method,and a detailed parametric analysis of geometric factors including element orientation,aspect ratio,twist angle,and spacing are conducted.The results indicate that the SMV mixer markedly enhances the mixing of hydrogen and methane.Increasing the number of mixing elements from one to six improves the mixing homogeneity but causes a 4.5 times increase in the pressure drop.The flow field visualization and vortex evolution analyses demonstrate that vortex generation plays a dominant role in fluid disturbance and mixing enhancement,with Dean vortices being particularly effective in promoting hydrogen and methane blending.This study provides valuable guidance for the design and optimization of static mixing devices,thereby advancing the hydrogen utilization and improving energy efficiency in sustainable energy systems. 展开更多

In the field of intelligent education,the integration of artificial intelligence,especially deep learning technologies,has garnered significant attention.Knowledge tracing(KT)plays a pivotal role in this field by predicting students’future performance through the analysis of historical interaction data,thereby assisting educators in evaluating knowledgemastery and tailoring instructional strategies.Traditional knowledge tracingmethods,largely based on Recurrent Neural Networks(RNNs)and Transformer models,primarily focus on capturing long-term interaction patterns in sequential data.However,these models may neglect crucial short-term dynamics and other relevant features.This paper introduces a novel approach to knowledge tracing by leveraging a pure Multilayer Perceptron(MLP)architecture.We proposeMixerKT,a knowledge tracing model based on theHyperMixer framework,which uniquely integrates global and localMixer feature extractors.This architecture enables more effective extraction of both long-terminteraction trends and recent learning behaviors,addressing limitations in currentmodels thatmay overlook these key aspects.Empirical evaluations on twowidely-used datasets,ASSIS Tments2009 and Algebra2005,demonstrate that MixerKT consistently outperforms several state-of-the-art models,including DKT,SAKT,and Separated Self-Attentive Neural Knowledge Tracing(SAINT).Specifically,MixerKT achieves higher prediction accuracy,highlighting its effectiveness in capturing the nuances of learners’knowledge states.These results indicate that our model provides a more comprehensive representation of student learning patterns,enhancing the ability to predict future performance with greater precision. 展开更多

Brain imaging is important in detecting Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI)and related dementias.Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)provides structural insights,while Positron Emission Tomography(PET)evaluates metabolic activity,aiding in the identification of dementia-related pathologies.This study integrates multiple data modalities—T1-weighted MRI,Pittsburgh Compound B(PiB)PET scans,cognitive assessments such as Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),Clinical Dementia Rating(CDR)and Functional Activities Questionnaire(FAQ),blood pressure parameters,and demographic data—to improve MCI detection.The proposed improved Convolutional Mixer architecture,incorporating B-cos modules,multi-head self-attention,and a custom classifier,achieves a classification accuracy of 96.3%on the Mayo Clinic Study of Aging(MCSA)dataset(sagittal plane),outperforming state-of-the-art models by 5%–20%.On the full dataset,the model maintains a high accuracy of 94.9%,with sensitivity and specificity reaching 89.1%and 98.3%,respectively.Extensive evaluations across different imaging planes confirm that the sagittal plane offers the highest diagnostic performance,followed by axial and coronal planes.Feature visualization highlights contributions from central brain structures and lateral ventricles in differentiating MCI from cognitively normal subjects.These results demonstrate that the proposed multimodal deep learning approach improves accuracy and interpretability in MCI detection. 展开更多

多维时间序列分类在工业、医疗、金融等领域有着广泛应用,在工业产品质量控制、疾病预测、金融风险控制等方面发挥着重要作用。多维时间序列时间依赖关系和空间依赖关系同等重要,传统多维时间序列模型只对时间或空间某一维度重点关注。... 多维时间序列分类在工业、医疗、金融等领域有着广泛应用,在工业产品质量控制、疾病预测、金融风险控制等方面发挥着重要作用。多维时间序列时间依赖关系和空间依赖关系同等重要,传统多维时间序列模型只对时间或空间某一维度重点关注。为此,提出一种基于预训练递归Transformer-Mixer的多维时间序列分类模型PRTMMTSC。模型基于Transformer-Mixer模块充分学习多维时间序列时间和空间的关联关系。为进一步提升分类模型的性能,受异常检测模型的启发,将预训练后的隐藏层特征和残差特征进行融合,并采用PolyLoss损失函数对模型进行训练。为减少模型训练参数量,模型中Transformer-Mixer模块采用递归方式构建,使多层可训练参数量仅为单层Transformer-Mixer参数量。在UEA多维时间数据集上的实验结果表明,所提模型的性能优于对比模型,相较于TARNet模型和RLPAM模型的准确率分别提升3.03%和4.69%。在UEA及IF钢夹渣缺陷分类的消融实验验证预训练方式、Transformer-Mixer模块、残差信息及PolyLoss损失函数的有效性。 展开更多

Compared with the relative experimental resuits, it is shown that the present calculation is reasonable. For the nitrogen oxide removal processes,high performance gas mixer is deeply needed for the injection of NH3 or O3.In this study,a new type of double swirl static mixer in gas mixing was investigated using computational fluid dynamics(CFD).The results obtained using Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV)correlated well with the results obtained from simulation.The comparisons in pressure loss between the experimental results and the simulation results showed that the model was suitable and accurate for the simulation of the static mixer.Optimal process conditions and design were investigated.When L/D equaled 4,coefficient of variation(COV)was<5%.The inlet velocity did not affect the distributions of turbulent kinetic energy.In terms of both COV and pressure loss,the inner connector is important in the design of the static mixer.The nozzle length should be set at 4 cm.Taking both COV and pressure loss into consideration,the optimal oblique degree is 450.The averaged kinetic energy changed according to process conditions and design.The new static mixer resulted in improved mixing performance in a more compact design.The new static mixer is more energy efficient compared with other SV static mixers.Therefore,the double swirl static mixer is promising in gas mixing. 展开更多

Drop size distribution(DSD) or mean droplet size(d32) and liquid holdup are two key parameters in a liquid–liquid extraction process. Understanding and accurately predicting those parameters are of great importance in the optimal design of extraction columns as well as mixer–settlers. In this paper, the method of built-in endoscopic probe combined with pulse laser was adopted to measure the droplet size in liquid–liquid dispersions with a pump-impeller in a rectangular mixer. The dispersion law of droplets with holdup range 1% to 24% in batch process and larger flow ratio range 1/5 to 5/1 in continuous process was studied. Under the batch operation condition, the DSD abided by log-normal distribution. With the increase of impeller speed or decrease of dispersed phase holdup, the d32 decreased. In addition, a prediction model of d32 of kerosene/deionized system was established as d32/D = 0.13(1 + 5.9φ)We-0.6. Under the continuous operation condition, the general model for droplet size prediction of kerosene/water system was presented as d32/D = C3(1 + C4φ)We-0.6. For the surfactant system and extraction system, the prediction models met a general model as d32/D = bφnWe-0.6. 展开更多

A coaxial mixer meeting the actual demand of a system with high and variable viscosity is investigated. It has an outer wall-scraping frame and a double inner impeller consisting of a four-pitched-blade turbine and Rushton turbine. The power consumption and flow field characteristics of the coaxial mixer in laminar and transitional flow are simulated numerically, and then the distribution of velocity field, shear rate and mass flow rate are analyzed. The simulation results indicate that the outer frame has little effect on the power consumption of the double inner impeller whether in laminar or transitional flow, whereas the inner combined impeller has a great effect on the power consumption of the outer frame. Compared with the single rotation mode, the power consumption of the outer frame will decrease in co-rotation mode and increase in counter-rotation mode. The velocity, shear rate and mass flow rate are relatively high near the inner impeller in all operating modes, and only under double-shaft agitation will the mixing performance near the free surface be improved.In addition, these distributions in the co-rotation and counter-rotation modes show little difference, but the co-rotation mode is recommended for the advantage of low power consumption. 展开更多

Kenics static mixers(KSM)are extensively used in industrial mixing-reaction processes by virtue of high mixing efficiency,low power homogenization and easy continuous production.Resolving liquid droplet size and its distribution and thus revealing the dispersion characteristics are of great significance for structural optimization and process intensification in the KSM.In this work,a computational fluid dynamics-population balance model(CFD-PBM)coupled method is employed to systematically investigate the effects of operating conditions and structural parameters of KSM on droplet size and its distribution,to further reveal the liquid-liquid dispersion characteristics.Results indicate that higher Reynolds numbers or higher dispersed phase volume fractions increase energy dissipation,reducing Sauter mean diameter(SMD)of dispersed phase droplets and with a shift in droplet size distribution(DSD)towards smaller size.Smaller aspect ratios,greater blade twist and assembly angles amplify shear rate,leading to smaller droplet size and a narrower DSD in the smaller range.The degree of impact exerted by the aspect ratio is notably greater.Notably,mixing elements with different spin enhance shear and stretching efficiency.Compared to the same spin,SMD becomes 3.7-5.8 times smaller in the smaller size range with a significantly narrower distribution.Taking into account the pressure drop and efficiency in a comprehensive manner,optimized structural parameters for the mixing element encompass an aspect ratio of 1-1.5,a blade twist angle of 180°,an assembly angle of 90°,and interlaced assembly of adjacent elements with different spin.This work provides vital theoretical underpinning and future reference for enhancing KSM performance. 展开更多

This work aims to systematically study hydrodynamics and mixing characteristics of non-Newtonian fluid(carboxyl methyl cellulose,CMC)in dual shaft eccentric mixer.Fluid rheology was described by the power law rheological model.Computational fluid dynamics was employed to simulate the velocity field and shear rate inside the stirred tank.The influence mechanism of the rotational modes,height difference between impellers,impeller eccentricities,and impeller types on the flow field have been well investigated.We studied the performance of different dual-shaft eccentric mixers at the constant power input with its fluid velocity profiles,average shear strain rate,mixing time and mixing energy.The counter-rotation mode shows better mixing performance than co-rotation mode,and greater eccentricity can shorten mixing time on the basis of same stirred condition.To intensify the hydrodynamic interaction between impellers and enhance the overall mixing performance of the dual shaft eccentric mixers,it is critical to have a reasonable combination of impellers and an appropriate spatial position of impellers. 展开更多

提出了一种基于标准0.18μm互补金属氧化物半导体(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor,CMOS)工艺的射频前端集成电路设计方案,针对全球定位系统(Global Positioning System,GPS)L1和北斗B1双模导航系统的应用需求,提升了低噪声放... 提出了一种基于标准0.18μm互补金属氧化物半导体(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor,CMOS)工艺的射频前端集成电路设计方案,针对全球定位系统(Global Positioning System,GPS)L1和北斗B1双模导航系统的应用需求,提升了低噪声放大器(Low-Noise Amplifier,LNA)与下变频混频器的关键性能指标。在电路架构方面,针对低噪声放大器,创新性地采用感应源退化技术,通过外部电容与栅源电容并联有效降低了噪声系数;而对于下变频混频器模块,则选用了具有结构优势的无源单平衡拓扑,在保证转换增益的同时显著改善了线性度指标并降低了1/f噪声干扰。测试结果显示,该方案在1.8 V电压下实现60 dB链路增益和2 dB噪声系数,整体功耗仅22 mW。系统集成测试中,当输入功率为-100 dBm时,输出中频功率达3.15 dBm。 展开更多

A series of computations are conducted to obtain the effects of the bypass ratio and the scarf angle on the mixing performance for the scarfed lobed mixer. Results show that the scarfed lobed mixer is reduced in the system weight. Meanwhile, aerodynamic performances are slightly improved compared with the normal lobed mixer. Two reasons for causing the mixing enhancement between the core and the bypass flow are as follows: (1) The stream-wise vortices shed from the training edge of the half/full scarfed lobed mixer earlier is enhanced by about 25%. (2) The mixing augmentation is also associated with the increase of the interface length caused by scarfing. The thermal mixing efficiency is enhanced with the increase of the bypass ratio and the scarfing angle. The scarfed lobed mixer design has no negative effects on the pressure loss. The total pressure recovery coefficient reaches above 0. 935 in various bypass ratios and scarfed angles. As the bypass ratio increases, the total pressure recovery coefficient also increases for the scarfed lobed mixer. 展开更多

The analysis indicates it has better performance than a conventional Gilbert mixer pair in commutating mode. A quadrature down-conversion mixer based on this topology is designed and optimized for an ultra high frequency RFID reader. Operating in the 915MHz ISM band, the presented quadrature mixer measures a conversion gain of 12.5dB,an IIP3 of 10dBm, an IIP2 of 58dBm, and an SSB noise figure of 17.6riB. The mechanically stirred internal loop airlift reactors equipped with or without static mixers are devised for intensification of gas-liquid mass transfer rate. The influences of superficial gas velocity, agitation or static mixers on gas hold-up, mixing time, liquid circulating velocity and volumetric mass transfer coefficient have been investigated with tap water and carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) aqueous solution. The experimental results indicate that mechanical agitation is more efficacious than static mixer in highly viscous media for improving mass transfer in airlift reactors. The empirical correlation of volumetric mass transfer coefficient with apparent viscosity, and energy consumption for mechanical agitation and aeration is developed. 展开更多

Acidic solution and pure NdClsolution were compared to scrub the less-extractable rare earths(REs)(La, Ce, and Pr)from loaded organic phase. The extractant with low-degree saponification was evaluated to remove the more-extractable element(Sm). Then the RE impurities(La, Ce, Pr, and Sm) in Nd were purified by an integrated process. Furthermore, effect of smuggling behavior on the purification of NdClin mixersettlers was studied. Based on the investigation mentioned above, the pilot-scale purification process for NdClwith a purity of 99.999% was developed, and the total recovery was about 99%. 展开更多

The main ideas in the development of the solvent extraction mixer settler focused on achieving clean phase separation,minimizing the loss of the reagents and decreasing the surface area of the settlers.The role of baffles in a mechanically agitated vessel is to ensure even distribution,reduce settler turbulence,promote the stability of power drawn by the impeller and to prevent swirling and vortexing of liquid,thus,greatly improving the mixing of liquid.The insertion of the appropriate number of baffles clearly improves the extent of liquid mixing.However,excessive baffling would interrupt liquid mixing and lengthen the mixing time.Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) provides a tool for determining detailed information on fluid flow(hydrodynamics) which is necessary for modeling subprocesses in mixer settler.A total of 54 final CFD runs were carried out representing different combinations of variables like number of baffles,density and impeller speed.CFD data shows that amount of separation increases with increasing baffles number and decreasing impeller speed. 展开更多
