For moderately/strongly coupled plasmas,modeling of the electron screening effect remains an unresolved problem,owing to the complicated many-body correlations among the surrounding electrons and ions.In this work,we investigate the ion correlation effect on electron screening of moderately coupled plasmas using an atomic-state-dependent electron-screening model.It is found that the electron density around a target ion is significantly enhanced by the ion correlation effect from surrounding ions.By considering this ion correlation effect,the electron density fluctuation induced by the target ion becomes non-spherically symmetric,which causes traditional electron screening models to underestimate the screening effects,especially for moderately/strongly coupled and weakly degenerate plasmas.The present model and findings are validated by molecular dynamics simulations of moderately coupled ultracold neutral plasmas.For moderately coupled plasmas,the Coulomb logarithm is found to decrease by about 10%-30% owing to the ion correlation effect,which should be considered when modeling plasma effects on atomic processes,radiation transport,and thermodynamic properties. 展开更多

X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analyses were carried out to investigate the surface species and interfacial reactions during bioleaching of chalcopyrite by different strains of moderately thermophilic bacteria (45 °C). Results show that monosulfide (CuS), disulfide (S22?), polysulfide (Sn2?), elemental sulfur (S0) and sulfate (SO42?) are the main intermediate species on the surface of chalcopyrite during bioleaching byA. caldus,S. thermosulfidooxidans andL. ferriphilum. The low kinetics of dissolution of chalcopyrite inA. caldus can be mainly attributed to the incomplete dissolution of chalcopyrite and the passivation layer of polysulfide. Polysulfide and jarosite should be mainly responsible for the passivation of chalcopyrite in bioleaching byL. ferriphilumorS. thermosulfidooxidans. However, elemental sulfur should not be the main composition of passivation layer of chalcopyrite during bioleaching. 展开更多

The flow of blasted ore during mining of moderately dipping medium-thick orebodies is a challenge.Selecting a suitable mining system for such ore bodies is difficult.This paper proposes a diamond layout sublevel open stoping system using fan blastholes with backfilling to mine such orebodies.To evaluate the performance of system the relationships between ore recovery and stope footwall dip angle,footwall surface roughness,drawpoint spacing and production blast ring burden were investigated.An ore recovery data set from 81 laboratory physical model experiments was established from combinations of the listed factors.Various modules in a back propagation neural network structure were compared,and an optimal network structure identified.An ore recovery backpropagation neural network(BPNN)forecast model was developed.Using the model and sensitivity analysis of the factors affecting the proposed open stope mining system,the significance of each factor on ore recovery was studied.The study results were applied to a case study at the Shandong Gold Group Jiaojia Gold Mine.The results showed that the application of a BPNN and sensitivity analysis models for ore recovery prediction in the proposed mining system and field experimental results confirm that the suggested mining method is feasible. 展开更多

The Hoek-Brown (HB) failure criterion and the geological strength index (GSI) were developed for the estimation of rock mass strength in jointed and blocky ground where rock mass failure is dominated by sliding along open joints and rotation of rock blocks. In massive, veined and moderately jointed rock in which rock blocks cannot form without failure of intact rock, the approach to obtain HB parameters must be modified. Typical situations when these modifications are required include the design of pillars, excavation and cavern stability, strainburst potential assessment, and tunnel support in deep underground conditions (around σ1/σci > 0.15, where σ1 is the major principal compressive stress and σci is the unconfined compressive strength of the homogeneous rock) in hard brittle rocks with GSI ≥ 65. In this article, the strength of massive to moderately jointed hard rock masses is investigated, and an approach is presented to estimate the rock mass strength envelope using laboratory data from uniaxial and triaxial compressive strength tests without reliance on the HB-GSI equations. The data from tests on specimens obtained from massive to moderately jointed heterogeneous (veined) rock masses are used to obtain the rock and rock mass strengths at confining stress ranges that are relevant for deep tunnelling and mining;and a methodology is presented for this purpose from laboratory data alone. By directly obtaining the equivalent HB rock mass strength envelope for massive to moderately jointed rock from laboratory tests, the HB-GSI rock mass strength estimation approach is complemented for conditions where the GSIequations are not applicable. Guidance is also provided on how to apply the proposed approach when laboratory test data are not or not yet available. 展开更多

A mixed culture of moderately thermophilic microorganisms was enriched from acid mine drainages(AMDs)samples collected from several sulphide mines in China,and the bioleaching of chalcopyrite was conducted both in shake flask and bioreactor.The results show that in the shake flask,the mixture can tolerate 50 g/L chalcopyrite after being acclimated to gradually increased concentrations of chalcopyrite.The copper extraction increases obviously in bioleaching of chalcopyrite with moderately thermophilic microorganisms supplemented with 0.4 g/L yeast extract at 180 r/min,74% copper can be extracted in the pulp of 50 g/L chalcopyrite after 20 d.Compared with copper extractions of mesophilic culture,unacclimated culture and acclimated culture without addition of yeast extract,that of accliniated culture with addition of yeast extract is increased by 53%,44% and 16%,respectively.In a completely stirred tank reactor,the mass fraction of copper and total iron extraction reach up to 81% and 56%,respectively.The results also indicate that it is necessary to add a large amount of acid to the pulp to extract copper from chalcopyrite effectively. 展开更多

A meshless local radial point interpolation method (LRPIM) for solving elastic dy-namic problems of moderately thick plates is presented in this paper. The discretized system equation of the plate is obtained using a locally weighted residual method. It uses a radial basis function (RBF) coupled with a polynomial basis function as a trial function,and uses the quartic spline function as a test function of the weighted residual method. The shape function has the properties of the Kronecker delta function,and no additional treatment is done to impose essen-tial boundary conditions. The Newmark method for solving the dynamic problem is adopted in computation. Effects of sizes of the quadrature sub-domain and influence domain on the dynamic properties are investigated. The numerical results show that the presented method can give quite accurate results for the elastic dynamic problem of the moderately thick plate. 展开更多

Freeze drying and frozen preservation way was used to preserve a moderately thermophilic culture for bioleaching of chalcopyrite concentrate.After preservation of 15 months,the cell viability rate decreases to 22% with a cell density of 7×107 mL-1.When the growth time was extended from 8 days to 14 days,cell density would increase in a large scale to about 3×108 mL-1.In the bioleaching experiments,unpreserved and preserved cultures were compared for dissolving chalcopyrite concentrate.Before 44 days,the unpreserved culture can reach a high copper extraction of about 17.4 g/L.While the preserved culture shows a rather low copper extraction,which is only 9.7 g/L.When the bioleaching time was extended to 80 days,copper extraction by preserved culture increases remarkably,and the concentration of copper finally achieves up to 18.3 g/L.On the other hand,copper extraction by the unpreserved culture does not show remarkable increase from 44th to the 80th day,and finally the total copper extraction is 19.8 g/L.As a result,total copper extraction in 80 days by preserved culture approaches that by unpreserved culture and freeze drying and frozen preservation even after 15 months does not bring much decrease of bioleaching ability. 展开更多

A refractory gold concentrate with 19% arsenic was treated by a mixed moderately thermophiles in an airlift bioreactor through an adaptation protocol. The moderately thermophiles could respond well to 20%(w/v) pulp density with less than 10% loss of productivity, and resist arsenic up to 15 g/L. There were a lot of jarosite, arsenolite and sulfur, but not scorodite and ferric arsenate in the bioleached residue. Jarosite passivation and lower sulfur-oxidizing activity of the cells due to the toxicity of the high concentrations of soluble arsenic and iron ions at low p H value should mainly response for the incomplete extraction at high pulp density. The initial bacterial community did not change in nature except for new found P aeruginosa ANSC, but sulfur-oxidizing microorganisms have been dominant microorganisms after a long time of adaptation. Pseudomonas aeruginosa originating from the gold concentrate should be closely relative to the metabolism of the organic matters contained in the refractory gold concentrate. 展开更多

A rectangular finite element for laminated plate with bonded and/or embedded piezoelectric sensors and actuators is developed based on the variational principle and the first order shear deformation theory. The element has four-node, 20-degrees-of-freedom with one potential degree of freedom for each piezoelectric layer to represent the piezoelectric behavior. The higher order derivation of deflection is obtained by using the normal rotation expressions to take the effects of transverse shear deformation into considerations. The finite element can accurately simulate the deformation of both thin and moderately thick plates. A Fortran program is written and a number of benchmark tests are exercised to verify its effectiveness. Results are compared well with the existing data. The unbalanced composite with piezoelectric layers is then analyzed by using the model. Results show that the changes of the ratio between the thickness of positive angle layers and the negative angle layers have an effect on the deformation of the structure under the same electric loading. 展开更多

Regulation of oxygen on properties of moderately boron-doped diamond films is fully investigated.Results show that,with adding a small amount of oxygen(oxygen-to-carbon ratio<5.0%),the crystal quality of diamond is improved,and a suppression effect of residual nitrogen is observed.With increasing ratio of O/C from 2.5%to 20.0%,the hole concentration is firstly increased then reduced.This change of hole concentration is also explained.Moreover,the results of Hall effect measurement with temperatures from 300 K to 825 K show that,with adding a small amount of oxygen,boron and oxygen complex structures(especially B3O and B4O)are formed and exhibit as shallow donor in diamond,which results in increase of donor concentration.With further increase of ratio of O/C,the inhibitory behaviors of oxygen on boron leads to decrease of acceptor concentration(the optical emission spectroscopy has shown that it is decreased with ratio of O/C more than 10.0%).This work demonstrates that oxygen-doping induced increasement of the crystalline and surface quality could be restored by the co-doping with oxygen.The technique could achieve boron-doped diamond films with both high quality and acceptable hole concentration,which is applicable to electronic level of usage. 展开更多

In order to develop halophilic microorganism resources to improve environment, a Gram-positive, strictly aerobic and moderately halophilic bacterial strain JSA1 was obtained from the waste water sample collected from Jinhong Chemical Plant at Weihai city, by the methods of quick isolation and screening of halophilie bacteria. Systematic studies on it were carried out. Results show that the strain JSA1 is bacillus. The temperature range most suitable for its growth is 29 - 35 ℃ and the most suitable pH is 6. 5 - 9. 0. It can grow well at the salt mass concentration of 30 - 150 g/L. The C + G mole fraction of its DNA is 37.5%. The analytical result of 16S rRNA gene sequence reveals that this strain has the closest relationship with Alkalibacillus halophilus (DQ359731) of Alkalibacillts. Their similarities are as high as 99%. However, they have obvious differences in aspects of whole-cell main fatty acid components, cell size, cell morphology, motility, oxidase, gelatine liquefication, NaCl tolerance range, pH tolerance range, G + C mole fraction, sole carbon source, sole nitrogen source, antibiotic sensitivity and strain source. Comparing with other species of the same genus, differences of this strain are even more obvious. In view of muhiple identification results, we believe this strain is a new subspecies ofAlkalibacillus halophilus and name it Alkalibacillus halophilus subsp, hitensis subsp, nov. 展开更多

Bringing the building a moderately prosperous society in all respects to successful completion is a great achievement in China’s modernization and contributes to the development of human rights in China and the world alike.The practice of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects has added new connotations to human rights theories,developing and outgrowing the traditional jurisprudence of human rights.This is reflected in the following aspects:the injection of the overall and equal human development has expanded the traditional western values of human rights based on human freedom and dignity;the injection of interpersonal mutual development,win-win cooperation and risk management and control has expanded the traditional western presupposition of social relations based on the social contract and civil society,and has thus expanded the social foundation of interpersonal cooperation,enriching the social concept of human rights.Guided by the concept of building a community with a shared future for human beings,the building a moderately prosperous society in all respects,enriching the human rights worldviews,has changed the worldviews of racism and zero-sum game among western developed countries and generated the new connotation that mankind should share the development opportunities and achievements.This has constituted a profound jurisprudence of human rights in China and formed an important discourse system in international human rights dialogue. 展开更多

The electrolyte integrated with lithium metal anodes is subjected to the issues of interfacial compatibility and stability,which strongly influence the performances of high-energy lithium metal batteries.Here,we report a new electrolyte recipe viz.a moderately concentrated electrolyte comprising of 2.4 M lithium bis(fluorosulfonyl)imide(LiFSI)in a cosolvent mixture of fluorinated ethylene carbonate(FEC)and dimethyl carbonate(DMC)with relatively high ion conductivity.Owing to the preferential decomposition of LiFSI and FEC,an inorganic-rich interphase with abundant Li2O and LiF nanocrystals is formed on lithium metal with improved robustness and ion transfer kinetics,enabling lithium plating/stripping with an extremely low overpotential of~8 mV and the average CE of 97%.When tested in Li||LiFePO4 cell,this electrolyte provides long-term cycling with a capacity retention of 98.3%after 1000 cycles at 1 C and an excellent rate performance of 20 C,as well as an areal capacity of 1.35 mA h cm-2at the cathode areal loading of 9 mg cm-2.Moreover,the Li||LiFePO4 cell exhibits excellent wide-temperature performances(-40~60℃),including long-term cycling stability over 2600 cycles without visible capacity fading at 0℃,as well as extremely high average CEs of 99.6%and 99.8% over 400 cycles under-20℃ and 45℃. 展开更多

Objective: To explore and analyze the effect of acupoint application combined with microwave treatment on the intestinal barrier dysfunction with moderately severe acute pancreatitis. Methods: A convenient sample of 90 moderately severe acute pancreatitis was selected from March 2017 to December 2017 in the comprehensive hospital with third grade in Tianjin. The patients were divided into group A (acupoint application combined with microwave treatment), group B (acupoint application) and group C (routine nursing). Thirty patients were included in each group. This study need to get the informed consent of the patients. Acupoint application combined with microwave treatment was used, basing on routine nursing measures in group A. Acupoint application was used by the same way and the same traditional Chinese medicine ,basing on routine nursing measures in group B. Routine nursing used in group C. C-reactive protein and the score of intestinal function were measured on 3 th day, 7 th day and 10 th day, after intervention. To record the effective ratio of the treatment after 10 days of intervention. Results: There are significant statistical difference among the three group after intervention (P < 0.05). Conclusion: In some way, acupoint application combined with microwave treatment are able to decrease the time about the recovery of intestinal barrier dysfunction in moderately severe acute pancreatitis and to alleviate the suffering of patients. 展开更多
