摘要This study investigated the association between helicopter parenting and malevolent creativity among college students, and the serial mediating roles of family environment and moral identity. The study sample comprised 489 Chinese college students(females=56.2%,18–23 years old=87.1%).The students completed self-report measures assessing helicopter parenting, family environment, moral identity, and malevolent creativity. The results of serial mediation model showed that helicopter parenting was significantly associated with higher malevolent creativity. Moreover, family environment and moral identity sequentially mediated this relationship.Specifically, helicopter parenting may contribute to a negative family environment and undermine individuals’moral identity, thereby leading to higher levels of malevolent creativity. The findings are consistent with Psychological Reactance Theory,Family Systems Theory, and Self-Determination Theory, indicating that helicopter parenting may foster malevolent creativity both directly and indirectly through its detrimental effects on family environment and moral development. These findings highlight the importance of parenting behaviors on malevolent creativity and provide a scientific basis for early identification and intervention in high-risk family contexts.
摘要A fairly precise vision of a healthy physical self can serve as motivation for undertaking the means to that end.The same cannot be said with regard to“healthy moral selves”.By definition, democracy is about living with others and,as we argue,a healthy moral self is one that lives well with others. However, precisely what“living with others”entails is ambiguous, particularly in a capitalist economy that presumes that the greatest happiness results from antagonistic competitiveness. In an attempt to demystify how self-focused individuals may nonetheless thrive in“the space between”,we will examine, with the help of Kant and Foucault, the Enlightenment Project that promoted maximal reasonableness(or what we are referring to as“healthy moral selves”)and then, with the help of Steven Pinker and Alisdair MacIntyre, explore the factors that have led to its seeming relatively recent failure. We will argue, following Iris Murdoch and others, that the best hope for its revitalization, and with it,democracy, lies,on one hand, with the debunking of counterfeit moral selves who use a“moral stance”to deliver what Frankfurt refers to as“bullshit”,and,on the other, with the reinvigoration of our understanding that healthy moral selves require a steady diet of engaging in“objective practical reasoning”with those who think differently, thereby potentially starving our fat relentless egos that are so often the source of divisiveness and,in so doing, become happy by becoming worthy of being happy. In animating the value of this goal, the hope is that the means,i.e.,education for the reinvigoration of practical reason(the forgotten twin of theoretical reason)and genuine deliberative dialogue across difference will become sufficiently attractive that it will energize democratic practice and dialogue to such an extent that democracy,as a form of government, may yet flourish despite the atomizing forces of capitalism.

摘要Implementing Curriculum-Based Moral Education is crucial for cultivating foreign language talents with national identity and international vision.Meanwhile,PPT,with its visualization advantages, has become an effective approach to integrate“moral education”and“talent cultivation”in foreign language teaching.Based on practical surveys and document research, this paper analyzes PPT-related problems in foreign language teaching, taking PPT cases of award-winning teachers in the 2020 Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press(FLTRP)“Teaching Star”Contest as samples to systematically explore their embedded teaching principles and practical ideas.Guided by Multiliteracies Pedagogy, corresponding PPT design strategies are proposed from four dimensions:contextualized implicit education, dynamic interactive collaborative education, critical thinking-oriented all-round education, and learning-application integrated whole-process education.
摘要This study introduces and proposes the Edupreneurship Research Ecosystem Model(EREM),an innovation that advocates for an interdisciplinary framework for embedding moral leadership, social justice, and sustainable innovation into higher education systems, industry practice,as a mechanism to actualize the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)and realize the aspirations of Society 5.0.The model is developed through a design-science approach and is structured around four synergistic pillars:adaptive education and lifelong learning, innovation and entrepreneurship hubs,a sustainability and circular-economy lens, and agile multi-stakeholder governance. These pillars are connected by a cross-cutting moral-leadership spine and supported by analytics, financing, monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.By aligning curricula with rapidly evolving labour-market and community needs, operationalizing the SDGs through course outcomes and innovation pipelines, and institutionalizing ethical and inclusive governance,EREM addresses persistent gaps between universities, industry, government, civil society, and ecological well-being.The paper argues that the world should adopt EREM as a practical global implementation architecture for accelerating the SDGs and actualizing the aspirations of Society 5.0 because it converts sustainability, human dignity, social justice, and ethical technology governance from aspirational ideals into measurable institutional practices. Its key recommendation is that governments, universities, industry actors, development agencies, and civil-society organizations should mainstream EREM as a policy and operational model for education-led sustainable transformation, using it to connect learning, research, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, public accountability, and inclusive development.A comprehensive literature review situates the model in current research and practice, drawing on recent studies in educational innovation,multi-stakeholder collaboration, sustainable development, and ethical technology governance. The paper outlines the theoretical foundations and philosophical underpinnings that inform EREM’s design, including systems theory, helix innovation models, human capital theory, diffusion of innovation, pragmatism, humanism,Ubuntu, constructivism, and stewardship ethics. The methodology follows iterative design-science cycles to construct and refine the model, with expert critique guiding improvements. The conclusions and policy brief call for institutional leaders and policymakers to adopt EREM as an ethics-by-design,SDG-driven,and Society 5.0-aligned ecosystem for transforming higher education into a platform for inclusive prosperity, technological responsibility, and social justice.
摘要The paper re-examines Plato’s Republic as a classical source of the ethical duty of teaching.Plato explained the idea of education as not the imparting of information but rather the turning of the soul away from opinion to the truth through the allegory of the cave. However, the philosophically trained person has to go back into the cave where truth meets convention, power, and resistance. The motion of ascent and descent reveals a persistent problem of modern teachers:what should be done to lead students to the good without taking over the monopoly on moral authority?Based on the theory of education by Plato, the Socratic method of teaching, the current teacher ethics, moral education, and value pluralism, the paper states that teaching is not a value-free technology or an authoritarian teaching of morals. It is instead an ethical and dialogic process that develops the ability of the students to perceive, ask questions, make judgments, and behave in responsible ways.Teachers ought not to assert any sovereign ownership of truth in a pluralistic era;however, they are unable to leave their students to relativism.Their challenge is to establish educational environments wherein students acquire the skills to evaluate appearances, arrange desires, face conflicting values, and build up responsive moral agency.
摘要Against the backdrop of fostering virtue through education, high school moral education requires deepening home-school collaboration and consolidating the synergy of educational forces.Take multiple high schools as research subjects, this paper combines questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews to analyze the current status, existing problems, and causes of home-school collaborative moral education. It constructs a scientific and feasible integrated management model for home-school collaborative moral education, clarifies the guiding philosophy and implementation paths, and establishes a four-dimensional support system covering systems, resources, technologies, and evaluation.By verifying the effectiveness through case studies, this paper provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for high school home-school collaborative moral education.
摘要The newly revised curriculum standards are guided by core competencies and explicitly state that moral education should be the fundamental task of teaching in all subjects, promoting the integration of moral education from specialized courses to the entire curriculum and the entire teaching process. This paper focuses on the functional positioning of physical education and health courses in the moral education system and systematically analyzes the practical basis and value of integrating moral education into physical education classes.Based on the review of the shift in the curriculum’s educational orientation,it mainly explores the implementation paths and optimization strategies of moral education in physical education and health courses from the aspects of teaching goal construction, teaching process design, classroom organization methods, and evaluation mechanism optimization, aiming to provide feasible practical references for the transformation of middle school physical education from a“skill-oriented”to an“education-oriented”approach.

摘要This study explored the mediating role of moral courage in the relationship between emotional intelligence and perceptions of patient safety competence among nursing students in clinical practice. The study sample comprised 220 nursing students from a teaching hospital(female=93.6%;mean age=20.64 years,SD=1.78 years).Nursing students completed standardized measures of Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Moral Courage Scale, and the Health Professional Education in Patient Safety Survey.Following hierarchical regression analysis and bootstrap analysis, the results showed that emotional intelligence and moral courage significantly predicted high levels of the perceptions of patient safety competence among nursing students in clinical practice. Moreover, moral courage partially mediated the relationship emotional intelligence and perceptions of patient safety competence. The results indicate measures focused on improving emotional intelligence and moral courage levels among nursing students in clinical practice will be effective at increasing their perceptions of patient safety competence.
摘要Objectives:The study aimed to examine the severity of moral distress and intention to leave among ICU nurses in the United Arab Emirates(UAE),and explore the influencing factors of intention to leave. Methods:The study utilized a cross-sectional research design.A convenience non-probability sample of 341 nurses from various private and government hospitals across different emirates in the UAE participated in June 2022.Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire comprising demographic information, the Moral Distress Scale–Revised.Multivariable logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with intention to leave. Results:The study found that a large majority(71.9%)of ICU nurses experienced severe moral distress, and more than 35%had intention to leave.Futile end-of-life interventions emerged as the most distress-provoking aspect of practice[16.0(0,16.0)].Multivariable analysis revealed nurses experiencing severe moral distress had 3.73 times the odds of intending to leave their job compared with those experiencing mild distress(95%CI:1.81,7.69;P<0.001)and being aged 31–40 years(OR=2.02;95%CI:1.23,3.33;P=0.005)was independently associated with a higher intention to leave. Conclusions:Severe moral distress was prevalent among ICU nurses in the UAE and strongly associated with intention to leave, and also those aged 31–40 years.Promoting ethical support, shared decision-making,and nurse empowerment is vital to improving retention and care quality.
摘要Purpose:This study aimed to determine the nurses’profile characteristics that are associated with moral distress among nurses in selected government hospitals in Shangdong,China. Methods:This is a descriptive-correlational study.A total of 185 clinical registered nurses who met the eligibility criteria from different departments in two tertiary governmental hospitals in Jinan city were purposively selected to participate in this study. The instruments included the general demographic characteristics and Chinese version of Moral Distress Scale-Revised(MDS-R).Correlation technique, specifically Spearman’s rho,was utilized to determine the significant correlation between the selected nurse’s characteristics and moral distress.Ethical considerations were given by the Far Eastern University ethics review committee(FEU-ERC Code:2020-2021-079).Results:The number of patients nurses handled per shift(rs=0.650,p=0.032)and the type of patients that nurses handled(rs=0.718,p=0.020)are the nurses’profile factors that are significantly correlated with nurses’moral distress(p-value<0.05).As there is an increase in the number of patients handled every shift and the patients are becoming unstable, requiring complex care, the frequency and intensity of moral distress increase as well. Conclusion:The nurses’moral distress was registered at a low level in this study.Characteristics related to patients, such as the number and type assigned to nurses, are correlated to moral distress. The main source of the high frequency and intensity of moral distress among nurses is“futile care”and“false hope”.Educational learning program is recommended to manage and alleviate the moral distress of nurses.

摘要Objectives:The aim of this study was to verify the causal relationship between trait aggressiveness(TA)and moral disengagement(MD),know more about the growth trajectory of MD,and explore the effects of gender and TA on the growth trajectory. Methods:We used the Buss-Perry Aggression Questionnaire and Moral Disengagement Scale to survey 433 Chinese junior high school students longitudinally three times. Results:The results of the random intercept cross-lagged panel model(RI-CLPM)analysis indicated that TA positively predicted MD,while MD did not predict TA at the within-person level. Thus,TA could be considered an antecedent variable of MD.Furthermore, the unconditional latent growth linear model analysis revealed that MD among junior high school students exhibited an upward trend, characterized by an increasing rate of growth over time.In the conditional latent growth linear model analysis,we found that gender influenced only the initial level of MD but had no effect on its growth rate.Conversely,TA demonstrated both delayed and immediate positive effects on the growth of MD.Conclusions:Our findings suggested a one-way cross-lag effect between TA and MD.Additionally, the growth trajectory of MD among junior high school students was found to be ascending. This growth trajectory was influenced by gender and TA,offering valuable insights for the prevention and intervention of behavioral problems in junior high school students.
