Power generation dispatching is a large complex system problem with multi-dimensional and nonlinear characteristics. A mathematical model was established based on the principle of reservoir operation. A large quantity of optimal scheduling processes were obtained by calculating the daily runoff process within three typical years, and a large number of simulated daily runoff processes were obtained using the progressive optimality algorithm (POA) in combination with the genetic algorithm (GA). After analyzing the optimal scheduling processes, the corresponding scheduling rules were determined, and the practical formulas were obtained. These rules can make full use of the rolling runoff forecast and carry out the rolling scheduling. Compared with the optimized results, the maximum relative difference of the annual power generation obtained by the scheduling rules is no more than 1%. The effectiveness and practical applicability of the scheduling rules are demonstrated by a case study. This study provides a new perspective for formulating the rules of power generation dispatching. 展开更多

This paper presents an optimized strategy for multiple integrations of photovoltaic distributed generation (PV-DG) within radial distribution power systems. The proposed methodology focuses on identifying the optimal allocation and sizing of multiple PV-DG units to minimize power losses using a probabilistic PV model and time-series power flow analysis. Addressing the uncertainties in PV output due to weather variability and diurnal cycles is critical. A probabilistic assessment offers a more robust analysis of DG integration’s impact on the grid, potentially leading to more reliable system planning. The presented approach employs a genetic algorithm (GA) and a determined PV output profile and probabilistic PV generation profile based on experimental measurements for one year of solar radiation in Cairo, Egypt. The proposed algorithms are validated using a co-simulation framework that integrates MATLAB and OpenDSS, enabling analysis on a 33-bus test system. This framework can act as a guideline for creating other co-simulation algorithms to enhance computing platforms for contemporary modern distribution systems within smart grids concept. The paper presents comparisons with previous research studies and various interesting findings such as the considered hours for developing the probabilistic model presents different results. 展开更多

The artificial bee colony(ABC) algorithm is improved to construct a hybrid multi-objective ABC algorithm, called HMOABC, for resolving optimal power flow(OPF) problem by simultaneously optimizing three conflicting objectives of OPF, instead of transforming multi-objective functions into a single objective function. The main idea of HMOABC is to extend original ABC algorithm to multi-objective and cooperative mode by combining the Pareto dominance and divide-and-conquer approach. HMOABC is then used in the 30-bus IEEE test system for solving the OPF problem considering the cost, loss, and emission impacts. The simulation results show that the HMOABC is superior to other algorithms in terms of optimization accuracy and computation robustness. 展开更多

This paper presents a new algorithm based on the power inversion (PI) and the linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV). This algorithm is capable of adjusting the weights of the antenna array in real time to respond to and improve the global positioning system (GPS) received signals coming from the desired directions and at the same time to highly suppress the jammers coming from the other directions. The simulation is performed for fixed and moving jammers. It indicates that this structure can give deeper nulls, more than 115 dB depths for fixed jammers and more than 94 dB depths for moving jammers. 展开更多

Combined Heat and Power Economic Dispatch(CHPED)is an important problem in the energy field,and it is beneficial for improving the utilization efficiency of power and heat energies.This paper proposes a Modified Genetic Algorithm(MGA)to determine the power and heat outputs of three kinds of units for CHPED.First,MGA replaces the simulated binary crossover by a new one based on the uniform and guassian distributions,and its convergence can be enhanced.Second,MGA modi-fies the mutation operator by introducing a disturbance coefficient based on guassian distribution,which can decrease the risk of being trapped into local optima.Eight instances with or without prohibited operating zones are used to investigate the efficiencies of MGA and other four genetic algorithms for CHPED.In comparison with the other algorithms,MGA has reduced generation costs by at least 562.73$,1068.7$,522.68$and 1016.24$,respectively,for instances 3,4,7 and 8,and it has reduced generation costs by at most 848.22$,3642.85$,897.63$and 3812.65$,respectively,for instances 3,4,7 and 8.Therefore,MGA has desirable convergence and stability for CHPED in comparison with the other four genetic algorithms. 展开更多

In this paper, refusal of operation and the degree of constraint violation are considered as one part of the objective function for optimizing the protection relay setting coordination of over current relays in power systems; a new expression of objective function in this optimization problem is proposed. To combine the advantages of both Tabu search (TS) and evolutionary algorithms (EAs), a new niche-based evolutionary Tabu search algorithm (named NETS) is presented to solve this optimization problem. Moreover, in two cases of power networks, comparisons between NETS and two published algorithms are given. Experimental results show the expression of the objective function for protection relay setting is feasible and reasonable, and the proposed algorithm NETS exhibits a good performance. 展开更多

The effects of stage numbers on power dissipation of pipeline analog-to-digital converter (ADC) are studied and a novel design method aiming for power optimization is presented. In this method, a minimum comparator number algorithm (MCNA) is first introduced, and then the optimum distribution of resolutions through pipeline ADC stages is deduced by MCNA. Based on the optimum stage-resolution distribution, an optimization method is established, which examines the precise function between ADC power and stage resolutions with a parameter of power ratio (Rp). For 10-bit pipeline ADC with scaling down technology, the simulation results by using MATLAB CAD tools show that an eight-stage topology with 1-bit RSD correction achieves the power optimization indicated by the power reduction ratio. 展开更多

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is an important process in Photovoltaic (PV) systems because of the need to extract maximum power from PV panels used in these systems. Without the ability to track and have PV panels operate at its maximum power point (MPP) entails power losses;resulting in high cost since more panels will be required to provide specified energy needs. To achieve high efficiency and low cost, MPPT has therefore become an imperative in PV systems. In this study, an MPP tracker is modeled using the IC algorithm and its behavior under rapidly changing environmental conditions of temperature and irradiation levels is investigated. This algorithm, based on knowledge of the variation of the conductance of PV cells and the operating point with respect to the voltage and current of the panel calculates the slope of the power characteristics to determine the MPP as the peak of the curve. A simple circuit model of the DC-DC boost converter connected to a PV panel is used in the simulation;and the output of the boost converter is fed through a 3-phase inverter to an electricity grid. The model was simulated and tested using MATLAB/Simulink. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the IC algorithm for tracking the MPP in PV systems operating under rapidly changing temperatures and irradiations with a settling time of 2 seconds. 展开更多

随着生成式人工智能技术的快速迭代,算法在社会的各个领域得以广泛应用。算法的底层设计根植于开发者的具体偏好与意图,并受资本逻辑规制,甚至成为资本权力维持抽象统治的技术装置。特定算法通过意识形态幻象遮蔽其真实本质,并经由建构... 随着生成式人工智能技术的快速迭代,算法在社会的各个领域得以广泛应用。算法的底层设计根植于开发者的具体偏好与意图,并受资本逻辑规制,甚至成为资本权力维持抽象统治的技术装置。特定算法通过意识形态幻象遮蔽其真实本质,并经由建构“超真实”的数字意识形态景观、强化制度性意识形态国家机器等方式,致使主体陷入失实的误认状态。一方面,算法无形配置主体行为,使主体在虚假的形式自由中受外部力量的间接支配。在此过程中,算法权力潜在地受制于资本权力,并不断地强化其抽象统治,并进一步导致主体深陷于异化困境;另一方面,遭受抽象统治的主体具有无意识认同、理性妥协以及批判抵抗的三重认知状态。对此,应当揭露并约束算法权力与抽象统治的深度结合,通过融入人文诉求优化资本配置环节,约束资本对算法的绝对掌控,强化伦理规范与制度约束的协同作用,实现社会的合理发展。 展开更多

算法技术对法律规则生成过程的重构,正引发规范性危机。在数字法学视角下,法律规则生成方式的数字化转型成为算法时代的必然趋势,国家中心主义立法范式由此面临算法权力的颠覆性挑战。实验法理学的实证分析表明,算法在法律规则“发现-验... 算法技术对法律规则生成过程的重构,正引发规范性危机。在数字法学视角下,法律规则生成方式的数字化转型成为算法时代的必然趋势,国家中心主义立法范式由此面临算法权力的颠覆性挑战。实验法理学的实证分析表明,算法在法律规则“发现-验证-优化”的全周期中构建起动态演化的数字法秩序。算法参与法律规则生成本质上是技术理性与法律价值之间的博弈,其规范性困境根植于算法权力与立法主权的结构性张力,具体表现为法律规则生成算法化导致的民主赤字、技术寡头规则越界引发的主体危机及形式理性蚕食实质正义的价值侵蚀。算法正义的实现需要搭建三维协同治理框架:以程序协同为支撑,构建多元主体参与的算法规则生成协商机制;以权力制衡为核心,构建算法规则生成权限的规范化约束机制;以价值校准为导向,构建算法规则生成的实质正义审查机制。由此,为算法时代法律规则生成范式转型提供理论解释与制度设计双重维度的创新性解决方案。 展开更多

当代由算法驱动的人工智能技术在社会治理、公共生活和私人生活领域的大规模应用极大地扩展了人的控物能力,也极大地提高了公共治理的效率,提升了人们在物质层面的生活福祉,并重塑着人们对公共生活的感知模式、认知框架和行为态度。但... 当代由算法驱动的人工智能技术在社会治理、公共生活和私人生活领域的大规模应用极大地扩展了人的控物能力,也极大地提高了公共治理的效率,提升了人们在物质层面的生活福祉,并重塑着人们对公共生活的感知模式、认知框架和行为态度。但因其技术特性,从算法技术造成的安全风险和伦理风险等各种算法风险表现形式来看,智能算法系统已经溢出了其狭义的机械功能和工具主义特性,越来越演变成一种通过智能技术影响乃至渗透到社会治理组织、公共生活和私人生活领域的建构性、弥漫性权力形态,即“算法权力”。这种新型权力建立在自动化算法决策系统的技术基础之上,并与其他类型的权力机制结合在一起,深刻地嵌入社会结构之中,对社会治理、公共交往和个体精神生活秩序产生了深远的影响。在算法权力诸多表现形态的形成过程中,算法决策系统在人机交互界面的嵌入式广泛使用,给传统应用伦理学的致思方式和应对之道带来全新的挑战,产生了尤其迫切需要伦理反思和规制的难题。针对算法权力的算法决策伦理由此就承载着两个重要任务:在概念上界定算法权力,反思算法决策权的伦理性和公共性,明确算法权力的特征;制定和辩护治理算法权力的伦理框架,确定算法决策系统应用的道德边界,并通过伦理规制和范导为算法治理提供道德动力。 展开更多

This paper presents the solution to the combined heat and power economic dispatch problem using a direct solution algorithm for constrained optimization problems. With the potential of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) production to increase the efficiency of power and heat generation simultaneously having been researched and established, the increasing penetration of CHP systems, and determination of economic dispatch of power and heat assumes higher relevance. The Combined Heat and Power Economic Dispatch (CHPED) problem is a demanding optimization problem as both constraints and objective functions can be non-linear and non-convex. This paper presents an explicit formula developed for computing the system-wide incremental costs corresponding with optimal dispatch. The circumvention of the use of iterative search schemes for this crucial step is the innovation inherent in the proposed dispatch procedure. The feasible operating region of the CHP unit three is taken into account in the proposed CHPED problem model, whereas the optimal dispatch of power/heat outputs of CHP unit is determined using the direct Lagrange multiplier solution algorithm. The proposed algorithm is applied to a test system with four units and results are provided. 展开更多
