Current Status and Problem Analysis of Same-Floor Drainage Technology in Residential Buildings 认领 引用

The quality of residential buildings has been continuously improving, and public concern regarding the healthiness of living environments is growing. Due to its clear definition of property rights, flexible spatial layout, and effective reduction of noise pollution and risks associated with waterproofing leakage, same-floor drainage technology has gradually become a significant development direction in residential drainage systems. This article elaborates on the fundamental principles of same-floor drainage technology in residential buildings and classifies the main system types into three categories: dropped floor slab, wall-mounted, and subfloor systems. It provides a detailed analysis of the technical characteristics and applicable scenarios for each type. It summarizes several commonly used application models and related product systems currently available in the market. The study reveals that this technology still faces numerous challenges during widespread adoption, including the lack of unified design and construction standards, resulting in poor compatibility among different systems; higher initial investment costs compared to traditional drainage methods, which affects market acceptance; and high demands for precision and teamwork during construction, increasing the risk of quality issues. To promote further development of this technology, it is recommended to establish and improve relevant standards and regulations as soon as possible, advancing product standardization and interoperability. Cost reduction should be achieved through technological breakthroughs and large-scale practical applications, while enhancing market awareness through extensive promotion and providing concrete demonstration cases for guidance. These efforts are expected to facilitate the rational and widespread application of same-floor drainage technology in residential construction and offer valuable reference experiences. 展开更多

The quality standards of residential buildings have been continuously improving, and public concern regarding healthy living environments has grown significantly. Same-floor drainage technology has emerged as a crucial development direction in residential drainage systems due to its ability to clearly define property ownership boundaries, offer flexible spatial configurations, and effectively mitigate risks associated with noise pollution and waterproofing leaks. This article elaborates on the fundamental principles of same-floor drainage technology, categorizes major system types into three categories—slab-type, wall-type, and bedding-type—and provides detailed analyses of their technical characteristics and applicable scenarios. By reviewing practical applications worldwide, it summarizes mature implementation experiences and advanced practices in developed countries like Europe, while outlining China's transition from pilot projects to widespread adoption. The study also identifies common application models and related product systems currently available on the market. However, challenges remain in promoting this technology: lack of unified design and construction standards leads to poor system compatibility; higher initial investment costs compared to traditional methods hinder market acceptance; and stringent requirements for precision and teamwork during installation often result in quality issues. To facilitate the further development of this technology, it is recommended to promptly establish and refine relevant standards and regulatory frameworks, promoting product standardization and interoperability; leverage technological breakthroughs and large-scale practical applications to reduce costs, enhance market promotion efforts, and provide concrete demonstration cases as guidance. These measures are expected to promote the rational and widespread adoption of co-level drainage technology in residential buildings while offering valuable reference experiences. 展开更多

In this work, the finite element analysis of the elasto-plastic plate bending problems is carried out using transition rectangular plate elements. The shape functions of the transition plate elements are derived based on a practical rule. The transition plate elements are all quadrilateral and can be used to obtain efficient finite element models using minimum number of elements. The mesh convergence rates of the models including the transition elements are compared with the regular element models. To verify the developed elements, simple tests are demonstrated and various elasto-plastic problems are solved. Their results are compared with ANSYS results. 展开更多

As a new technology which have been introduced to China in recent years, BIM technology already had its major application in foreigner countries .This paper focuses on the current status of BIM technology application in our country, especially on some small and medium enterprises using the traditional BIM technology to handle the project which have complex usage,creative deign and cost limitation. Firstly,we take a deep analysis on the initial application situation. Then we go through the practical application and analyse what benefit can be given to a project from BIM technology. Finally, analyse the problems and solutions in BIM application with consideration of Chinese building engineering development.
