Sequential processing(SqP)of the active layer offers independent optimization of the donor and acceptor with more targeted solvent design,which is considered the most promising strategy for achieving efficient organic solar cells(OSCs).In the SqP method,the favorable interpenetrating network seriously depends on the fine control of the bottom layer swelling.However,the choice of solvent(s)for both the donor and acceptor have been mostly based on a trial-and-error manner.A single solvent often cannot achieve sufficient yet not excessive swelling,which has long been a difficulty in the high efficient SqP OSCs.Herein,two new isomeric molecules are introduced to fine-tune the nucleation and crystallization dynamics that allows judicious control over the swelling of the bottom layer.The strong non-covalent interaction between the isomeric molecule and active materials provides an excellent driving force for optimize the swelling-process.Among them,the molecule with high dipole moment promotes earlier nucleation of the PM6 and provides extended time for crystallization during SqP,improving bulk morphology and vertical phase segregation.As a result,champion efficiencies of 17.38%and 20.00%(certified 19.70%)are achieved based on PM6/PYF-T-o(all-polymer)and PM6/BTP-eC9 devices casted by toluene solvent. 展开更多

In organic solar cells(OSCs),typical methods for fabricating the ternary active layer are blend-casting(BC)or two-step sequential processing(SqP-2T),where all three or at least two components are blended together,which affect the crystallization/aggregation behavior of each other during solid-film formation.Herein,we introduce for the first time a novel three-step sequential processing method,termed SqP-3T,which utilizes hydrocarbon solvents to prepare high-quality ternary active layers.Compared to the SqP-2T and BC techniques,SqP-3T yields an active layer with a higher acceptor ratio on its upper surface and exhibits a longer crystal coherence length in the out-of-plane direction(21.42 A).These characteristics enhance charge transport and collection.Additionally,SqP-3T devices demonstrate nearly a twofold increase in the transient photovoltage decay constant(up to 2.82μs)that is related to carrier lifetime to a certain extent,leading to reduced recombination losses.Consequently,the SqP-3T device achieves a high fill factor(75.67%)and a high short-circuit current density(27.35 mA/cm2),contributing to a power conversion efficiency of 19.2%.These results highlight the potential of SqP-3T or a multi-step sequential deposition process in the production of ternary or multicomponent OSCs,which could be adopted by more material systems in the future. 展开更多

The emergence of polymerized small molecule acceptors(PSMAs)has significantly improved the performance of all-polymer solar cells(all-PSCs).However,the pace of device engineering lacks behind that of materials development,so that a majority of the PSMAs have not fulfilled their potentials.Furthermore,most high-performance all-PSCs rely on the use of chloroform as the processing solvent.For instance,the recent highperformance PSMA,named PJ1-γ,with high LUMO,and HOMO levels,could only achieve a PCE of 16.1%with a high-energy-level donor(JD40)using chloroform.Herein,we present a methodology combining sequential processing(SqP)with the addition of 0.5%wt PC71BM as a solid additive(SA)to achieve an impressive efficiency of 18.0%for all-PSCs processed from toluene,an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent.Compared to the conventional blend-casting(BC)method whose best efficiency(16.7%)could only be achieved using chloroform,the SqP method significantly boosted the device efficiency using toluene as the processing solvent.In addition,the donor we employ is the classic PM6 that has deeper energy levels than JD40,which provides low energy loss for the device.We compare the results with another PSMA(PYF-T-o)with the same method.Finally,an improved photostability of the SqP devices with the incorporation of SA is demonstrated. 展开更多

As nitrobenzene(NB)is structurally stable and difficult to degrade due to the presence of an electron withdrawing group(nitro group).The sequential nanoscale zero valent iron-persulfate(NZVI-Na2S2O8)process was proposed in this study for the degradation NB-containing wastewater.The results showed that the NB degradation efficiency and the total organic carbon removal efficiency in the sequential NZVINa2S2O8process were 100%and 49.25%,respectively,at a NB concentration of 200 mg L-1,a NZVI concentration of 0.75 g L-1,a Na2S2O8concentration of 26.8 mmol L-1,an initial pH of 5,and a reaction time of 30 min,which were higher than those(88.53%and 35.24%,respectively)obtained in the NZVI/Na2S2O8process.Sulfate radicals(SO4·-)and hydroxyl radicals(·OH)generated in the reaction were identified directly by electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy and indirectly by radical capture experiments,and it was shown that both SO4·-and·OH played a major role in the sequential NZVI-Na2S2O8process.The possible pathways involved in the reduction of NB to aniline(AN)and the further oxidative degradation of AN were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. 展开更多

Monolithic perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells(PSTs)represent a promising avenue for surpassing the efficiency limits of single-junction photovoltaics,but their performance is still hampered by significant open-circuit voltage(VOC)losses arising from interfacial inefficient charge extraction and non-radiative recombination.To mitigate these losses,we introduce a push–pull bridging molecule,4′-amino-[1,1′-bi phenyl]-4-carboxylic acid(ABBA),which forms a 2 PACz/ABBA assembly through phosphor-amidate.The 2 PACz/ABBA assembly suppresses 2 PACz aggregation caused byπ-πstacking while simultaneously enhancing the interfacial dipole moment,thereby facilitating the built-in electric field to promote more efficient hole extraction.Meanwhile,–COOH groups within ABBA passivate deep-level defects(e.g.,uncoordinated Pb2+)at buried perovskite interface and contribute to the growth of perovskite films with large grains,reduced residual stress,and optimized energy level alignment.Consequently,the champion tandem device fabricated via the two-step sequential vapor-solution process achieves a PCE of 30.37% and an open-circuit voltage(VOC)of 1.891 V.Furthermore,unencapsulated devices maintain 88%of their initial performance after 1000 h under maximum power point tracking(MPPT),highlighting its superior stability. 展开更多

However, it lacks of a formal semantics and could easily lead to misunderstanding and different implementations. In this paper, the WS-CDL based specifications are formally extracted in a communicating sequential process supporting a formal approach to checking WS models. To meet the requirements of modeling the new modality of peer-to-peer(P2P)network applications which have been rapidly developing in the Internet recently, a formal description method for modeling multiparty concurrent network interactions is studied. The main characteristics and the classifications of P2P systems are discussed. Considering the requirements of P2P application modeling and referring to the component-based modeling thought, a description method based on communicating sequential processes (CSP)is proposed for the P2P network models. By using a CSP process group, this method can describe the dynamic interactive relationship which focuses on multiparty concurrent interaction of P2P systems more advantageously and accurately. The application of nondeterministic semantemes of CSP in describing the interactive relationship of P2P networks is discussed. The advantages and description abilities of the proposed method are demonstrated through the modeling of a new P2P media-on-demand system. 展开更多

To implement a real time simulation of Rectisol process, thermodynamic model and simulation strategy are needed. In this paper, a method of modified statistical associated fluid theory with perturbation theory is used to predict thermodynamic behavior of process. As Rectisol process is a highly heat-integrated process with many loops, a method of equation oriented strategy, sequential quadratic programming, is used as the solver and the process converges perfectly. Accurate sandstone thickness prediction from seismic data is vital for reservoir characterization and well placement optimization.However,conventional deep learning methods are often hindered by inefficient sequential processing or excessive computational costs when handling long seismic traces.To overcome these limitations,we propose a two-stage deep learning framework.First,an unsupervised feature extraction network derives high-dimensional latent representations directly from seismic data.Second,a novel reservoir sequence prediction network-utilizing efficient ProbSparse self-attention and self-attention distilling-maps these features to sandstone thickness,even with limited well-log training data.When applied to a field dataset with limited borehole control,our method resolved sandstone bodies thickness about 15~20 m and achieved a Mean Absolute Percentage Error of just 3.7%at blind validation wells.This hybrid approach offers a robust,computationally efficient solution for high-precision reservoir prediction in data-constrained environments. 展开更多

Lewis acid molten salt etching of MAX phases has emerged as a universal route to synthesize fluorinefree MXenes.However,the layer-stacked structure and halogen-rich termination of such MXenes limit their widespread use in energy storage.Herein,a sequential ion intercalation strategy is proposed to modulate the interlayer structure of the molten salt-etched Ti3C2Tx MXene(MS-MXene)for improving its lithium storage performance.The sequential ion intercalation process involved immersing MS-MXene in mixed alkaline solutions of LiOH,NaOH,and KOH,allowing for the pre-intercalation of smaller Li+ions,which then facilitated the subsequent intercalation of larger Na+and K+ions(Li/Na/K-MXene).Consequently,the interlayer spacing of MS-MXene experienced an expansion from 11.02Å to 11.22Å,endowing the Li/Na/K-MXene with abundant surface active sites and improved ion/electron transport capabilities.When configured as an anode for LIBs,the Li/Na/K-MXene exhibited a high capacity of 323.1 mA h g-1 at 50 mA g-1,a superior rate capability of 170.0 mA h g-1 at 2000 mA g-1,and robust cycling stability with no decay over 1200 cycles.The proposed approach shows promise for expanding to additional classes of MXenes and can potentially advance MS-MXene for practical energy storage applications. 展开更多

In a multi-stage manufacturing system,defective components are generated due to deteriorating machine parts and failure to install the feed load.In these circumstances,the system requires inspection counters to distinguish imperfect items and takes a few discreet decisions to produce impeccable items.Whereas the prioritisation of employee appreciation and working on reward is one of the important policies to improve productivity.Here we look at the multistage manufacturing system as an M/PH/1 queue model and rewards are given for using certain inspection strategies to produce the quality items.A matrix analytical method is proposed to explain a continuous-time Markov process in which the reward points are given to the strategy of inspection in each state of the system.By constructing the value functions of this dynamic programming model,we derive the optimal policy and the optimal average reward of the entire system in the long run.In addition,we obtain the percentage of time spent on each system state for the probability of conformity and non-conformity of the product over the long term.The results of our computational experiments and case study suggest that the average reward increases due to the actions are taken at each decision epoch for rework and disposal of the non-conformity items. 展开更多

Developing efficient Pt-free electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)at all pHs remains challenging for large-scale hydrogen production,especially in alkaline and neutral conditions,because of sluggish water dissociation.Herein,the synthesis of novel highly dispersed RuO-2 nanoparticles on NiO nanosheet arrays(RuO-2/NiO/NF)with efficient pH-universal HER electrocatalysis via a simple in situ growth and sequential calcination process is reported.The as-prepared RuO-2/NiO/NF nanosheet arrays exhibit outstanding HER performance with overpotentials of 31,66,and 84 mV to deliver 10,100,and 300 mA cm-2,respectively,in 1.0 M KOH,outperforming even the commercial Pt/C electrocatalyst.In addition,RuO-2/NiO/NF shows a higher turnover frequency at an overpotential of 100 mV in comparison with Pt/C electrocatalyst.It also requires extremely low overpotentials of 98 mV and 254 mV to afford 300 mA cm-2 in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 1.0 M PBS-neutral solution,respectively.Moreover,RuO-2/NiO/NF can work at 100 mA cm-2 for 200 h with negligible decay in 1.0 M KOH.The splendid HER performance can be ascribed to the 3D nanosheet arrays and highly dispersed RuO-2 nanoparticles with richly exposed active sites,favoring the efficient electron and mass transfer to the active sites. 展开更多
