As indicated in the results, the wind speed of this area is higher than that over the land, the average wind speed is above 3 m/s and the probability for the maximum wind speed to drop below 20 m/s is above 90%. Moreover, the probability for the hourly swing angle of wind direction to become less than 50o is above 80%, suggesting that the wind conditions in the Jue Diao Sha area could meet the requirements of the sporting events. According to the numerical simulation, this area is the best selected site among three candidates. Furthermore, the characteristics of daily land and sea breezes are such that it is suggested the game will be best carried out from 1000 to 1700 Beijing Standard Time.展开更多

Taking the development of DUS Test Guideline of Ranunculus asiaticus L. as an example, this paper applied statistic-based approaches for the analyses of quantitative characteristics. We selected 9 quantitative characteristics from 18 pre-selected characteristics, based on within-variety uniformity, stability between different growing cycles, and correlation among characteristics, by the analyses of coefficient of variation, paired-samples t-test and partial correlation. The expression ranges of the 9 selected quantitative characteristics were divided into different states using descriptive statistics and distribution frequency of varieties. Eight of the 9 selected quantitative characteristics were categorized as standard characteristics as they showed one peak in distribution frequency of 120 varieties in various expressions of the characteristics, whereas, plant height can be categorized as grouping characteristic since it gave two peaks, and can group the varieties into pot and cut varieties. Finally, box-plot was applied to visually select the example varieties, and varieties 7, 12, and 28 were determined as the example varieties for plant height. The methods described in this paper are effective for the selection of quantitative characteristics, division of expression ranges, and selection of example varieties in Ranunculus asiaticus L. for DUS test, and may also be interest for other plant genera.展开更多

The unsteady aerodynamic pressure on body surfaces is proved to be the key effect factor of car interior aerodynamic noise control in high frequency on high speed. In this paper, a detail statistical energy analysis (SEA) model is built. And the vibra-acoustic power inputs are loaded on the model for the valid result of car interior noise analysis. The model is the solid foundation for further optimization on car interior noise control. After the most sensitive subsystems for the power contribution to car interior noise are pointed by SEA comprehensive analysis, the sound pressure level of car interior aerodynamic noise can be reduced by improving their sound and damping characteristics. The further vehicle testing results show that it is available to improve the interior acoustic performance by using detailed SEA model, which comprised by more than 80 subsystems, with the unsteady aerodynamic pressure calculation on body surfaces and the materials improvement of sound/damping properties. It is able to acquire more than 2 dB reduction on the central frequency in the spectrum over 800 Hz. The proposed optimization method can be looked as a reference of car interior aerodynamic noise control by the detail SEA model integrated unsteady computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and sensitivity analysis of acoustic contribution.展开更多

摘要High groundwater nitrate associated with agricultural activity is a global environmental problem. However, linking spatial variability of groundwater nitrate and agricultural activity quantification needs to be elucidated. This paper seeks to explain the spatial variability of groundwater nitrate in the loess area of Tongchuan City,China, identify the contributing factors using hydrogeochemical and statistical methods, and analyze the connection between farmland leaching and groundwater nitrate quantitatively. Results indicate that the nitrate of the Quaternary alluvial pore water(QAP)is significantly higher during the wet season(3.60 to 68.24 mg/L)compared to the dry season(3.53 to 37.20 mg/L).QAP nitrate is significantly higher than that in loess fissure-pore water(LFP),which ranges from 0.66 to 5.47 mg/L during the wet season and 0.82 to 5.01 mg/L during the dry season. The thin and loose vadose zone of QAP makes the aquifer particularly susceptible to anthropogenic influences.Following recharge from LFP,the hydrochemical parameters in QAP increased by 1.22 to 3.12 times(except Na+and pH),the change of average nitrate concentration in QAP(10.11 mg/L)was considerably higher than that in LFP(0.03 mg/L)due to farmland leaching.A significant correlation(R2=0.70 exists between groundwater nitrate and farmland leaching in river valleys and on slopes where farmland is prevalent.Fertilizer accumulation in river valleys enhances downward leaching, thereby further exacerbating groundwater nitrate. These findings highlight that river valleys with extensive farmland in the Loess Plateau should be prioritized for preventing and controlling groundwater nitrate pollution from agricultural activities.

摘要Blisks have been widely adopted in various aero-engines due to the advantages such as simple structure and low loss. However, influenced by machining errors, the geometric inconsistency of blisk blades is significant, leading to deviations in the compressor performance from the design and scatter increase. To accurately assess performance uncertainty effects of machining errors using uncertainty quantification methods,‘statistical characteristics of machining errors’as uncertainty quantification inputs are particularly critical. This study is the first to highlight measured machining errors'uncertainty analysis for blisks.Measured machining errors from the front, middle, and rear stages of multi-stage compressor blisks are analyzed regarding their systematic deviations and scatters along the radial direction, and probability distribution characteristics. The results show that due to differences in clamping and fixing methods, the statistical characteristics of machining errors for‘blisk'differ from those of‘single blade’.Additionally, variations in material properties and sizes of blades at different compressor stages lead to differences in the statistical characteristics of machining errors. For different sections, systematic deviations and scatters in machining errors are notably significant near the blade tip, making it challenging to ensure machining consistency. For different stages, machining errors of the rear stage blades are the most scattering.Compared with the design geometry, several phenomena observed in most blades, such as‘under deflection’,‘thicker pressure/suction surfaces’and‘larger leading-edge radius’,should be improved, owing to their adverse effects in compressors.Furthermore, probability distributions of machining errors exhibit characteristics such as‘skewness’,‘bimodality’,and‘data missing’,indicating that traditional normal distributions are insufficient for accurately characterizing the above distributions. The research results provide a clear demonstration of the machining capabilities of compressor blisks and offer data support for correctly constructing probability models of machining errors, thereby enabling accurate prediction of their performance uncertainty effects.

摘要Based on the real-time wind direction and speed data from an automatic meteorological monitoring network in Shenzhen, the wind characteristics of Jue Diao Sha maritime area are analyzed. Furthermore, the characteristics of daily land and sea breezes are such that it is suggested the game will be best carried out from 1000 to 1700 Beijing Standard Time.

摘要Background Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM),with over 5000 years of empirical practice, increasingly employs modern scientific frameworks such as randomized controlled trials(RCTs)to validate therapeutic claims, yet its research reliability hinges critically on robust statistical rigor. Methods By systematically analyzing articles from Phytomedicine and Journal of Ethnopharmacology, this study evaluates statistical methodologies in TCM research, focusing on the adoption of advanced analytical techniques(e.g.,multivariate modeling)versus reliance on basic methods(e.g.,ANOVA)and identifies reporting gaps in trial design(e.g.,sample size estimation). Results Key findings indicate that foundational statistical methods, such as one-way ANOVA,were predominantly used(83.4%of articles),whereas more advanced approaches appeared in only 34.6%of studies. However, methodological rigor should not be equated with statistical complexity. The selection of analytical techniques must be driven by the research objectives, data structure, study design, and the complexity of the scientific questions under investigation.Advanced methods are not inherently superior;rather, the most appropriate approach is the one that is methodologically justified and aligned with underlying assumptions.Notably, substantial deficiencies in trial design and reporting were observed.A striking 81.5%of studies lacked pre-specified power calculations or sample size justifications, raising concerns about statistical validity.Reporting transparency was similarly limited:48.3%of articles did not adequately describe statistical procedures, and 69.8%failed to provide confidence intervals for primary effect estimates.Collectively, these limitations increase the risk of biased interpretation and undermine the robustness, reproducibility, and credibility of the findings. Conclusion Strengthening statistical rigor—through improved trial design transparency and adoption of advanced methods—is essential to enhance the credibility of TCM research, mitigate biases, and foster its integration into evidence-based medicine, ultimately ensuring clinically meaningful and actionable therapeutic insights.

摘要Chili fermentation is one of the most important processes in the production of Pixian Douban(PXDB),which determines the flavor and product quality of PXDB.However, the maturity of fermented chili mainly depends on empirical judgment, which can not satisfy the need for standardized production of PXDB.Therefore, this study aimed to investigate volatile and non-volatile substances during the maturation process and to find markers related to the maturity of fermented chili.Two-dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC×GC-MS)combined with multivariate statistical analysis and relative odor activity values(ROAV)analysis revealed that 2-methoxy-3-isobutyl pyrazine,linalool,3-(methylthio)propionaldehyde,myrcene,and decanal(ROAV≥1,VIP>1,P<0.05)were regarded as potentially active aromatic markers for differentiating fermentation time.Additionally,ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLCQTOF-MS)combined with multivariate statistical analysis revealed that 25 compounds could serve as differentiated non-volatile compounds. The correlation of maturity-related physicochemical indicators with volatile and nonvolatile compounds revealed that four volatile compounds(2-methoxy-3-isobutylpyrazine,linalool,myrcene,and decanal)along with seven non-volatile compounds could serve as markers for evaluating the maturity of fermented chili. This study is expected to establish a standard for the determination of the maturity the fermented chili and lay the foundation for intelligent production of PXDB.

摘要Whistler-mode waves are ubiquitous in space environments and constitute a key mechanism for energy transfer and transformation. The near-1 Hz narrowband whistler-mode waves are commonly observed in lunar space. However, the generation mechanism of narrowband 1 Hz whistler-mode waves in the lunar environment, where no global magnetosphere or permanent bow shock exists, remains an open question. This study examines 1 Hz waves in the lunar environment by analyzing 12 years(2012-2023)of ARTEMIS(Acceleration,Reconnection,Turbulence, and Electrodynamics of the Moon’s Interaction with the Sun)mission data(across an entire solar cycle). The spatial distribution, spectral characteristics, and polarization properties of these waves are investigated alongside their dependence on upstream solar wind parameters and lunar magnetic anomalies. The results reveal that 1 Hz waves are predominantly observed in the solar wind near the Moon, with clear dawn-dusk and north-south asymmetries.Wave amplitudes range from 0.03 to 1 nT,and approximately 90%of the events demonstrate no direct magnetic connectivity to the Moon.Importantly, wave amplitude shows a positive correlation with the solar wind dynamic pressure(Pdyn)and the total interplanetary magnetic field(Btotal)and an inverse correlation with the Alfvén Mach number(MA),underscoring the influence of upstream conditions on wave properties. Our findings reveal that the majority of waves occur on unconnected field lines, indicating a more complex generation and propagation scenario than previously assumed.Furthermore, wave properties are quantitatively shown to be strongly modulated by upstream solar wind conditions. These results provide critical statistical constraints for future studies of wave generation in the unique plasma environment of an unmagnetized body.

摘要Gears,as key components of aircraft transmission systems, play a crucial role in determining the safety and reliability of the entire system.Long service life, low failure probability, and numerous failure modes are characteristics of gears.Accelerated life testing methods for ground verification can enhance testing efficiency and reduce experimental costs. These methods have wide-ranging applications in gear mechanical performance testing, failure mechanism research, surface strengthening process comparisons, and structural parameter optimisation design validation. This paper provides a systematic discussion of four aspects:the primary failure modes of gears, advancements in testing methods, test design, and statistical data analysis, and it presents several related classic engineering cases.Based on this, the challenges faced by accelerated life testing and the future directions for its development are summarised and anticipated. The work presented in this paper can provide technical references for test plan design and experimental data processing for gear accelerated life testing personnel.
摘要In this study, artificial neural networks(ANNs)were implemented to determine design parameters for an impressed current cathodic protection(ICCP)prototype. An ASTM A36 steel plate was tested in 3.5%NaCl solution, seawater, and NS4 using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)to monitor the evolution of the substrate surface, which affects the current required to reach the protection potential(Eprot).Experimental data were collected as training datasets and analyzed using statistical methods, including box plots and correlation matrices.Subsequently,ANNs were applied to predict the current demand at different exposure times, enabling the estimation of electrochemical parameters(limiting voltage values)that can be used to optimize a self-regulating ICCP system. The obtained electrochemical parameters were then used, through Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),to fine-tune an ANN-based proportional-integral-derivative(PID)controller for the ICCP system.

摘要Selection of quantitative characteristics, division of their expression ranges, and selection of example varieties are key issues on developing DUS Test Guidelines, which are more crucial for quantitative characteristics since their expressions vary in different degrees. The methods described in this paper are effective for the selection of quantitative characteristics, division of expression ranges, and selection of example varieties in Ranunculus asiaticus L. for DUS test, and may also be interest for other plant genera.

摘要Air quality monitoring is effective for timely understanding of the current air quality status of a region or city.Currently, the huge volume of environmental monitoring data, which has reasonable real-time performance, provides strong support for in-depth analysis of air pollution characteristics and causes. However,in the era of big data,to meet current demands for fine management of the atmospheric environment,it is important to explore the characteristics and causes of air pollution from multiple aspects for comprehensive and scientific evaluation of air quality. This study reviewed and summarized air quality evaluation methods on the basis of environmental monitoring data statistics during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, and evaluated the level of air pollution in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and its surrounding areas(i.e.,the“2+26”region)during the period of the three-year action plan to fight air pollution. We suggest that air quality should be comprehensively, deeply, and scientifically evaluated from the aspects of air pollution characteristics, causes, and influences of meteorological conditions and anthropogenic emissions. It is also suggested that a threeyear moving average be introduced as one of the evaluation indexes of long-term change of pollutants.Additionally, both temporal and spatial differences should be considered when removing confounding meteorological factors.

摘要How to simulate interior aerodynamic noise accurately is an important question of a car interior noise reduction. The proposed optimization method can be looked as a reference of car interior aerodynamic noise control by the detail SEA model integrated unsteady computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and sensitivity analysis of acoustic contribution.

摘要Based on the Tropical Cyclone(TC briefly thereafter)Yearbook 1980-2009,this paper first analyzes the number and intensity change of the TCs which passed directly over or by the side of Poyang Lake(the distance of TC center is less than 1°longitude or 1°latitude from the Lake)among all the landfalling TCs in China during the past 30 years. Two cases are examined in detail in this paper. One is severe typhoon Rananim with a speed of 3.26 m/s and a change of 1 hPa in intensity when it was passing the Lake. The other is super typhoon Saomai with a faster moving speed of 6.50 m/s and a larger change in intensity of 6 hPa.Through numerical simulation experiments, this paper analyzes how the change of underlying surface from water to land contributes to the differences in intensity, speed and mesoscale convection of the two TCs when they passed the Lake. Results show that the moisture and dynamic condition above the Lake were favorable for the maintenance of the intensity when Rananim was passing through Poyang Lake, despite the moisture supply from the ocean was cut off.As a result, there was strong convection around the lake which led to a rainfall spinning counter-clockwise as it was affected by the TC movement. However, little impact was seen in the Saomai case. These results indicate that for the TCs coming ashore on Poyang Lake with a slow speed, the large water body is conducive to the sustaining of the intensity and strengthening of the convection around the TC center and the subsequent heavy rainfall. On the contrary,a fast-moving TC is less likely to be influenced by the underlying surface in terms of intensity and speed.
