Through electrochemical testing and material characterizations, higher calcination temperatures increase the electrostatic repulsion between oxygen atoms in adjacent layers, resulting in an expansion of Na layer spacing. This structural change enhances the diffusion kinetics of Na+, thereby significantly improving the rate performance of NCFM. Furthermore, elevated calcination temperatures facilitate the reduction of oxygen vacancies, leading to improved crystallinity. This enhancement in crystallinity mitigates structural strain during phase transitions, contributing to improved cyclic stability. In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control method based on an affine nonlinear temperature model is developed to control the temperature of the SOFC within a specified range. Fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate nonlinear functions in the SOFC system and an adaptive technique is employed to construct the controller. Results indicated that cell growth was maximal at pH 5.0, while pH 4.5 was pref-erable to GABA formation. The optimal temperature for cell growth (35 °C) was lower than that for GABA forma-tion (40 °C). In a two-stage pH and temperature control fermentation, cultures were maintained at pH 5.0 and 35 °C for 32 h, then adjusted to pH 4.5 and 40 °C, GABA production increased remarkably and reached 474.79 mmol·L-1 at 72 h, while it was 398.63 mmol·L-1 with one stage pH and temperature control process, in which cultivation con-ditions were constantly controlled at pH 5.0 and 35 °C. Additionally, a three-dimensional temperature field simulation and prediction model has been developed, continuously refined through real-time data analysis to enhance accuracy in identifying temperature patterns. Leveraging this model, an intelligent regulation system has been designed that utilizes simulation results to guide operational decisions: it rapidly calculates optimal cooling water flow rates, target temperatures, and optimal activation timing based on collected data, while automatically implementing effective thermal insulation measures. This establishes a comprehensive management cycle encompassing perception, prediction, and regulation phases. The research team has also developed a prototype version of a cloud-based management platform integrating multiple aforementioned functions.
摘要The operating temperature of a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) stack is a very important parameter to be controlled, which impacts the performance of the SOFC due to thermal cycling. Compared with the traditional fuzzy and proportion-integral-derivative (PID) control, the simulation results show that the designed adaptive fuzzy control method performed much better. So it is feasible to build an adaptive fuzzy controller for temperature control of the SOFC.

摘要Dividing wall batch distillation with middle vessel(DWBDM)is a new type of batch distillation column, with outstanding advantages of low capital cost, energy saving and flexible operation. However, temperature control of DWBDM process is challenging, since inherently dynamic and highly nonlinear, which make it difficult to give the controller reasonable set value or optimal temperature profile for temperature control scheme. To overcome this obstacle, this study proposes a new strategy to develop temperature control scheme for DWBDM combining neural network soft-sensor with fuzzy control.Dynamic model of DWBDM was firstly developed and numerically solved by Python, with three control schemes:composition control by PID and fuzzy control respectively, and temperature control by fuzzy control with neural network soft-sensor.For dynamic process, the neural networks with memory functions, such as RNN,LSTM and GRU,are used to handle with time-series data. The results from a case example show that the new control scheme can perform a good temperature control of DWBDM with the same or even better product purities as traditional PID or fuzzy control, and fuzzy control could reduce the effect of prediction error from neural network, indicating that it is a highly feasible and effective control approach for DWBDM,and could even be extended to other dynamic processes.

摘要Accurate skin temperature is one of the critical factors in successfully assimilating satellite radiance data over land.However,model-simulated skin temperature may not be accurate enough. To address this issue,an extended skin temperature control variable(TSCV) approach is proposed in a variational assimilation framework, which also considers the background error correlation between skin temperature and atmospheric variables.A series of single observation tests and a 10-day cycling assimilation experiment were conducted to evaluate the impact of the TSCV approach on the assimilation of AMSU-A and ATMS(Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder) microwave temperature-sounding channels over land. The results of the single observation tests show that by applying the TSCV approach, not only the direct analysis of skin temperature is realized, but also the interaction between skin temperature and atmospheric variables can be achieved during the assimilation process. The results of the cycling experiment demonstrate that the TSCV approach improves the skin temperature analysis, which in turn reduces the RMSE of the surface variables and low-level air temperature forecasts. The TSCV approach also reduces the difference between the observed and simulated brightness temperatures of both microwave and infrared window channels over land, suggesting that the approach can facilitate the radiance simulation of these channels, thus contributing to the assimilation of window channels.

摘要In many heat recovery processes, temperature control of heat source is often required to ensure safety and high efficiency of the heat source equipment. In addition, the management of recovered heat is important for the proper use of waste heat.To this aim,the concept of thermal management controller(TMC),which can vary heat transfer rate via the volume variation of non-condensable gas,was presented.Theoretical model and experimental prototype were established.Investigation shows that the prototype is effective in temperature control With water as the working fluid, the vapor temperature variation is only 1.3℃when the heating power varies from 2.5 to 10.0 kW.In variable working conditions, this TMC can automatically adjust thermal allocation to the heat consumer.

摘要The liquid cooling system(LCS)of fuel cells is challenged by significant time delays, model uncertainties, pump and fan coupling, and frequent disturbances, leading to overshoot and control oscillations that degrade temperature regulation performance. To address these challenges,we propose a composite control scheme combining fuzzy logic and a variable-gain generalized supertwisting algorithm(VG-GSTA).Firstly,a one-dimensional(1D)fuzzy logic controler(FLC)for the pump ensures stable coolant flow, while a two-dimensional(2D)FLC for the fan regulates the stack temperature near the reference value. The VG-GSTA is then introduced to eliminate steady-state errors, offering resistance to disturbances and minimizing control oscillations. The equilibrium optimizer is used to fine-tune VG-GSTA parameters.Co-simulation verifies the effectiveness of our method, demonstrating its advantages in terms of disturbance immunity, overshoot suppression, tracking accuracy and response speed.

摘要As a critical material in construction engineering, concrete requires accurate prediction of its outlet temperature to ensure structural quality and enhance construction efficiency. This study proposes a novel hybrid prediction method that integrates a heat conduction physical model with a multilayer perceptron(MLP)neural network, dynamically fused via a weighted strategy to achieve high-precision temperature estimation.Experimental results on an independent test set demonstrated the superior performance of the fused model, with a root mean square error(RMSE)of 1.59℃ and a mean absolute error(MAE)of 1.23℃,representing a 25.3%RMSE reduction compared to conventional physical models.Ambient temperature and coarse aggregate temperature were identified as the most influential variables.Furthermore, the model-based temperature control strategy reduced costs by 0.81 CNY/m3,showing significant potential for improving resource efficiency and supporting sustainable construction practices.

摘要The exploitation of oil resources has now extended to ultra-deep formations, with depths even exceeding 10,000 m.During drilling operations, the bottomhole temperature(BHT)can surpass 240℃.Under such high-temperature conditions, measurement while drilling(MWD)instruments are highly likely to malfunction due to the inadequate temperature resistance of their electronic components. As a wellbore temperature control approach, the application of thermal insulated drill pipe(TIDP)has been proposed to manage the wellbore temperature in ultra-deep wells. This paper developed a temperature field model for ultra-deep wells by coupling the interactions of multiple factors on the wellbore temperature. For the first time, five distinct TIDP deployment methods were proposed, and their corresponding wellbo re temperature variation characte ristics were investigated, and the heat transfer laws of the ultra-deep wellbore-formation system were quantitatively elucidated. The results revealed that TIDP can effectively restrain the rapid rise in the temperature of the drilling fluid inside the drill string by reducing the heat flux of the drill string.Among the five deployment methods, the method of deploying TIDP from the bottomhole upwards exhibits the best performance. For a 12,000 m simulated well,when6000 m of TIDP are deployed from the bottomhole upwards, the BHT decreases by 52℃,while the outlet temperature increases by merely 1℃.This not only achieves the objective of wellbore temperature control but also keeps the temperature of the drilling fluid at the outlet of annulus at a relatively low level, thereby reducing the requirements for the heat exchange equipment on the ground. The novel findings of this study provide significant guidance for wellbore temperature control in ultra-deep and ultra-high-temperature wells.

摘要With the development of space-based remote sensing and deep space exploration technology, higher standards for temperature stability and uniformity of payloads have been proposed to spacecraft thermal control systems. As an efficient two-phase heat transfer device with active temperature control capabilities, the loop heat pipe(LHP)can be widely applied in spacecraft thermal control systems to achieve reliable temperature control under various operating modes and complex space thermal environments. This paper analyzes the fundamental theories of thermal switch-controlled,reservoir temperature-controlled,and bypass valve-controlled LHPs.The focus is on the theories and methods of achieving high-precision and high-reliability temperature control via active reservoir temperature control.Novel control techniques in recent years, such as non-condensable gas(NCG)control with a temperature stability of 0.01℃ ,are also briefly introduced as promising approaches to improve LHP performance. The on-orbit performance and characteristics of various LHP temperature control methods are provided and ranked in terms of control precision, energy consumption, complexity, and weight.Thermoelectric cooler(TEC)/electrical heater,as the foundation of reservoir temperature control, can achieve a temperature stability of in space applications under±0.2℃ a wide range of heat load.Microgravity model, control strategy, and operating mode conversion are three optimization directions that would hopefully further expand the application scenario of reservoir temperature control.Specific design principles and challenges for corresponding directions are summarized as guidance for researchers.

摘要This study constructs a dual-capacitor neuron circuit(connected via a memristor)integrated with a phototube and a thermistor to simulate the ability of biological neurons to simultaneously perceive light and thermal stimuli. The circuit model converts photothermal signals into electrical signals, and its dynamic behavior is described using dimensionless equations derived from Kirchhoff's laws.Based on Helmholtz's theorem,a pseudo-Hamiltonian energy function is introduced to characterize the system's energy metabolism.Furthermore,an adaptive control function is proposed to elucidate temperature-dependent firing mechanisms,in which temperature dynamics are regulated by pseudo-Hamiltonian energy.Numerical simulations using the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method, combined with bifurcation diagrams,Lyapunov exponent spectra, and phase portraits, reveal that parameters such as capacitance ratio, phototube voltage amplitude/frequency,temperature,and thermistor reference resistance significantly modulate neuronal firing patterns, inducing transitions between periodic and chaotic states.Periodic states typically exhibit higher average pseudo-Hamiltonian energy than chaotic states.Two-parameter analysis demonstrates that phototube voltage amplitude and temperature jointly govern firing modes, with chaotic behavior emerging within specific parameter ranges.Adaptive control studies show that gain/attenuation factors, energy thresholds, ceiling temperatures, and initial temperatures regulate the timing and magnitude of system temperature saturation.During both heating and cooling phases, temperature dynamics are tightly coupled with pseudoHamiltonian energy and neuronal firing activity. These findings validate the circuit's ability to simulate photothermal perception and adaptive temperature regulation, contributing to a deeper understanding of neuronal encoding mechanisms and multimodal sensory processing.

摘要Objective:Excessive frictional heat generated at the drill–bone interface during implant osteotomy can compromise osseointegration and lead to implant failure. This study’s objective was to use a helical milling technique for dental implant osteotomy preparation to mitigate thermal damage to the bone. Methods:This study introduces a novel helical milling technique designed to minimize thermal damage to bone during dental implant osteotomy preparations.Finite element simulations were conducted to compare the thermal distribution and cutting stress of a conventional twist drill and the newly designed helical drill. The experimental validation was performed ex vivo on animal bone using a robot-assisted osteotomy system. Results:The finite element simulations revealed that the helical drill produced a maximum cutting stress of 128.9 MPa,higher than the 121.0 MPa generated by the twist drill, indicating improved cutting efficiency. The ex vivo study demonstrated that the helical milling technique maintained the drilling site temperature below 38.7℃,which was significantly lower than the clinically critical threshold of 47℃and the 61℃recorded with the twist drill.Furthermore, the helical milling process facilitated efficient bone chip removal, reducing thermal buildup. Conclusions:These findings suggest that the helical milling tool and technique optimize robot-assisted osteotomy and effectively mitigate frictional heat generation at the drill–bone interface. This innovation holds promise for enhancing osseointegration success rates in dental implant procedures, offering a clinically viable solution to a long-standing challenge in implantology.

摘要Optimizing pyrolysis processes is critical for improving the efficiency of pyrolysis furnaces. This study presents a strategy to enhance heat transfer through agitation, employing Fluent for detailed numerical simulation of the thermal behavior. The simulation results show strong agreement with experimental measurements of localized fluid temperature rise.Forced convection induced by impeller rotation significantly improves heat transfer between the fluid and the furnace walls, effectively reducing thermal stratification. At an impeller speed of 240 RPM,the axial temperature difference decreases from 200 K to 50 K compared with stationary conditions, while the average heat transfer coefficient increases by approximately 50%throughout the heating process. The swirl flow generated by impeller motion disrupts the thermal boundary layer, achieving a more uniform temperature distribution and faster thermal response.

摘要Methods to optimize the production of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) by Lactobacillus brevis CGMCC 1306 were investigated. In order to avoid the inhibition of cell growth at higher L-monosodium glutamate (L-MSG) concentrations, the two-stage control fermentation with substrate feeding strat-egy was applied to GABA production, with 106.87 mmol (20 g) L-MSG supplemented into the shaking-flask at 32 h and 56 h post-inoculation separately. The GABA concentration reached 526.33 mmol·L-1 at 72 h with the fer-mentation volume increased by 38%. These results will provide primary data to realize large-scale production of GABA by L. brevis CGMCC 1306.
