In the first part of this paper, a special case where the processing times and compression costs are uniform among jobs is discussed. Theoretical results are derived that aid in developing an O(n 2) algorithm to slove the problem optimally. In the second part of this paper, authors generalize the discussion to general case. Considering the fact that the default value of processing time of one certain equipment in the simulation model was not the same as its actual value,a general data driven prediction model of the processing time was built based on support vector regression( SVR),with the utilization of manufacturing information in manufacturing execution system( MES). The processing time of one certain equipment was highly related to the status of the equipment itself and the wafers being processed. To uncover the relationship of the processing time with the information of historical products,process flow,technical standard of silicon wafers and manual intervention,data were extracted from MES and used to build a prediction model. This model was employed on an ion implantation equipment as a case, and the effectiveness of the proposed method was shown by comparing with other approaches.展开更多
Temporal alignment of multisensor time series(MTS)is a critical prerequisite for accurate modeling and optimal control in subsequent data-driven applications.Nevertheless,many approaches frequently neglect to consider...Temporal alignment of multisensor time series(MTS)is a critical prerequisite for accurate modeling and optimal control in subsequent data-driven applications.Nevertheless,many approaches frequently neglect to consider the complex interdependencies between different sensors in MTS,and temporal alignment in many methods is typically treated as an isolated task disconnected from the downstream objectives,leading to unsatisfactory performances in follow-up applications.To address these challenges,this paper proposes a novel knowledge graph(KG)-guided iterative-updating graph neural network(GNN)for time-delay estimation(TDE)in MTS.Initially,a domain-specific KG is constructed from domain mechanism knowledge,providing a foundation for GNN's initialization.Next,capitalizing on the inherent structure of the graph topology,a GNN-based TDE method is developed.Then,a customized loss function is constructed,which synthesizes both the performances of downstream tasks and graph-based constraints.Moreover,an innovative algorithm for GNN structure learning and iterative-updating is proposed to renovate the graph structure further.Finally,experimental results across various regression and classification tasks on numerical simulation,public datasets,and the real blast furnace ironmaking dataset demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve accurate temporal alignment of MTS.展开更多

In this study,we present a time projection chamber(TPC)system for low-background beta radiation measurements.The system consists of a TPC with a two-dimensional strip readout Micromegas and an anti-coincidence detecto...In this study,we present a time projection chamber(TPC)system for low-background beta radiation measurements.The system consists of a TPC with a two-dimensional strip readout Micromegas and an anti-coincidence detector with readout pads for cosmic ray vetoing.The detector system uses an AGET-based waveform sampling system for data acquisition.The beta detection capability of the system was verified through an experimental test using90Sr beta source.In addition,a dedicated simulation program based on Geant4 was developed to model the entire detection process,including the responses to both the beta source and background radiation.The simulation results were compared with the experimental data for both beta and background samples,and they were in good agreement.Simulation samples were used to optimize and train the classification models for beta and background discrimination.By applying the selected model into test data,the system achieved a background rate of 0.49 cpm/cm2while retaining more than 55%of90Sr beta signals within a 7 cm diameter detection region.Further analysis revealed that approximately 70%of the background originated from environmental gamma radiation,while the remaining contribution mainly originated from the intrinsic radioactivity of the detector materials,particularly the FR-4-based field cage and readout plane.Based on the knowledge gained from the experiments and simulations,an optimization of the TPC system was proposed,with the simulation predicting a potential reduction in the background rate to 0.0012 cpm/cm2.展开更多

Motor-manual felling is done mostly in winter, while tree processing starts when the felling season ends. We identified the elements of felling and processing work phases, and 142 cycles and 110 cycles were respectively recorded for felling and processing. On the basis of data analysis (time study), we developed statistical models of effective time consumption in the respective work phase and for its total productivity. The production rate of felling with and without delay time was 9.7 and 11.65 trees per hour (0.17 USD.m^-3 and 0.21 USD-m^-3), and the average production cost with and without delay was 1.21 USD and 1.45 USD per tree, respectively. The average productivity of processing was 35 m^3 per effective hour and the average unit cost of processing was 0.92 USD.m^-3.展开更多
The synchronous improvement of sensing distance and spatial resolution(SR)is a formidable challenge for a phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer(Φ-OTDR).We propose a groundbreaking solution that combines o...The synchronous improvement of sensing distance and spatial resolution(SR)is a formidable challenge for a phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer(Φ-OTDR).We propose a groundbreaking solution that combines optical phase compression processing and system bandwidth compensation to break this bottleneck.The constant amplitude zero autocorrelation sequence(CAZAS)with ideal pulse compression characteristics is leveraged to ensure a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)for long-distance sensing,while Wiener deconvolution compensates for system bandwidth limitations to recover high-resolution signals.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system achieves a sensing distance of 101.53 km with the SR of 0.8 m without distributed amplification.By employing distributed bidirectional Raman amplification,the sensing distance is further extended to 185.40 km while maintaining the SR of 0.8 m.This scheme provides an effective approach for developing long-distance and high-resolution environmental acoustic sensing.展开更多
Rolling bearings are one of the key components of rotating machinery.Accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of bearings can reduce maintenance costs,increase the reliability of the mechanical system,and ...Rolling bearings are one of the key components of rotating machinery.Accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of bearings can reduce maintenance costs,increase the reliability of the mechanical system,and prevent catastrophic accidents.Accurate and reliable estimation of bearing RUL requires a suitable health indicator(HI).Therefore,a novel HI called the total harmonic distortion(THD)is constructed using advanced frequency domain analysis to accurately reflect the bearing’s health status.The results confirm that the THD health indicator has excellent monotonicity,robustness,and trendability.In this work,a Wiener process with different drifts is used to predict the RUL.Furthermore,the parameters of the Wiener model are estimated online using Bayesian theory.The model is then validated using an accelerated experimental test bench.The results demonstrate that the Wiener process combined with the power law model achieves higher accuracy and stability than other Wiener models.展开更多

A short train of waves is transmitted and same transducer is used for reception of the reflected signal for the pulse-echo measurement applications. The amplitude of the received waveform is an envelope which starts from zero reaches to a peak and then dies out. The echoes are mostly detected by simple threshold crossing technique, which is also cause of error. In this paper digital signal processing is used to calculate the time delay in reception i.e. T.o.F, for which a maximum similarity between the reference and the delayed echo signals is obtained. To observe the effect of phase uncertainties and frequency shifts (Doppler), this processing is carried out, both directly on the actual wave shape and after extracting the envelopes of the reference and delayed echo signals. Several digital signal processing algorithms are considered and the effects of different factors such as sampling rate, resolution of digitization and S/N ratio are analyzed. Result show accuracy, computing time and cost for different techniques.展开更多

摘要The synchronous improvement of sensing distance and spatial resolution(SR)is a formidable challenge for a phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer(Φ-OTDR).We propose a groundbreaking solution that combines optical phase compression processing and system bandwidth compensation to break this bottleneck.The constant amplitude zero autocorrelation sequence(CAZAS)with ideal pulse compression characteristics is leveraged to ensure a high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)for long-distance sensing,while Wiener deconvolution compensates for system bandwidth limitations to recover high-resolution signals.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system achieves a sensing distance of 101.53 km with the SR of 0.8 m without distributed amplification.By employing distributed bidirectional Raman amplification,the sensing distance is further extended to 185.40 km while maintaining the SR of 0.8 m.This scheme provides an effective approach for developing long-distance and high-resolution environmental acoustic sensing.
摘要Rolling bearings are one of the key components of rotating machinery.Accurate prediction of the remaining useful life(RUL)of bearings can reduce maintenance costs,increase the reliability of the mechanical system,and prevent catastrophic accidents.Accurate and reliable estimation of bearing RUL requires a suitable health indicator(HI).Therefore,a novel HI called the total harmonic distortion(THD)is constructed using advanced frequency domain analysis to accurately reflect the bearing’s health status.The results confirm that the THD health indicator has excellent monotonicity,robustness,and trendability.In this work,a Wiener process with different drifts is used to predict the RUL.Furthermore,the parameters of the Wiener model are estimated online using Bayesian theory.The model is then validated using an accelerated experimental test bench.The results demonstrate that the Wiener process combined with the power law model achieves higher accuracy and stability than other Wiener models.
摘要Distributed acoustic sensing(DAS)technology is widely used in seismic monitoring,intrusion detection,and other fields due to its advantages of wide monitoring range and low cost.However,the problems of complex signal processing and large data volume limit its applications.This paper proposes a downsampling method based on short-time Fourier transform,which reduces the length of the time series while retaining high-frequency information.Experiments show that this method improves the efficiency and classification performance of the model,with an F1 value of 0.9147 on a four-class private dataset and an accuracy of 0.9944 on a two-class public dataset.

摘要In this paper, by considering the fuzzy nature of the data in real-life problems, single machine scheduling problems with fuzzy processing time and multiple objectives are formulated and an efficient genetic algorithm which is suitable for solving these problems is proposed. As illustrative numerical examples, twenty jobs processing on a machine is considered. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method have been demonstrated in the simulation.
摘要The techniques widely used in ultrasonic measurements are based on the determination of the time of flight (T.o.F). A short train of waves is transmitted and same transducer is used for reception of the reflected signal for the pulse-echo measurement applications. The amplitude of the received waveform is an envelope which starts from zero reaches to a peak and then dies out. The echoes are mostly detected by simple threshold crossing technique, which is also cause of error. In this paper digital signal processing is used to calculate the time delay in reception i.e. T.o.F, for which a maximum similarity between the reference and the delayed echo signals is obtained. To observe the effect of phase uncertainties and frequency shifts (Doppler), this processing is carried out, both directly on the actual wave shape and after extracting the envelopes of the reference and delayed echo signals. Several digital signal processing algorithms are considered and the effects of different factors such as sampling rate, resolution of digitization and S/N ratio are analyzed. Result show accuracy, computing time and cost for different techniques.
摘要The paper presents the microwave signal processing method using MATLAB based on the result of microwave imaging system simulation developed using Computer Simulation Technology (CST). The simulation system contains a transmittingeceiving antenna, human brain and a tumor inside the brain model. The source signal, microwave signal operates from 1 to 10 GHz. The generated scattering parameters (S-parameters) are in frequency domain form. This paper describes in detail regarding the signal conversion from frequency domain to time domain through proposed Inverse Fast Fourier Transform (IFFT) method as well as the noise filtering process. Peaks detection process was performed in order to identify the time delay of the reflection points at different Y-axis
