The trigger devices were made from different dielectric materials, with their permittivities from tens to thousands. The trigger characteristics of TPSS were investigated. The results indicate that the high-dielectric trigger device shows better performance and higher emitted charge of the electron emission within all adjusted parameters including the gas pressure and applied voltage. For the dielectric material with relative permittivity εr of 3460, when the gas pressure is 7 Pa, the hold-off voltage of TPSS is 28 kV, the minimum trigger switch voltage drops to 128 V, the minimum discharging delay time and delay jitter are less than 35ns and 6ns, respectively, and the reliable operation can be reached within a very large range of charging voltage, between 0.46% and 99% of its self-breakdown voltage.展开更多

To investigative the damage of single and sequential strike induced by the EPWs, experimental and numerical investigations are carried out in this paper.Firstly, a series of sequential explosion tests are conducted to provide the basic data of the crater size. Then, a numerical model is established to simulate the damage effects of sequential explosions using the meshfree method of Smoothed particle Galerkin. The effectiveness of numerical model is verified by comparison with the experimental results. Finally, based on dimensional analysis, several empirical formulas for describing the crater size are presented, including the conical crater diameter and the conical crater depth of the single explosion, the conical crater area and the joint depth of the secondary explosion. The formula for the single explosion expresses the relationship between the aspect ratio of the charge ranging from 3 to 7, the dimensionless buried depth ranging from 2 to 14 and the crater size. The formula for the secondary explosion expresses the relationship between the relative position of the two explosions and the crater size. All of data can provide reference for the design of protective structures.展开更多

In this work, we evaluated the performance of this new CLYC crystal in terms of its gamma-ray energy resolution and pulse shape discrimination(PSD) capability between neutrons and gamma rays. The decay times associated with different scintillation mechanisms were obtained by fitting decay functions to the neutron and gamma-ray waveform structures. We found an energy resolution of * 4.5% for 662-ke V gamma rays and efficient neutron/gamma PSD with a figure of merit of * 2.6. Under gamma-ray excitation, there is an ultrafast scintillation mechanism in CLYC with a decay time of approximately 2 ns, whereas there is no evidence of ultrafast decay under thermal neutron excitation. This work contributes to the promotion of domestic development of CLYC.展开更多

In the model, each brick in each cavity is capable of operating with jitter in its switch. Additionally, the manner of triggering cables entering into cavities was considered. The performances of the LTD module operating with three typical cavity-triggering sequences were simulated and the simulation results indicate that switching jitter affects slightly the peak and starting time of the output current pulse. However, the enhancement in switching jitter would significantly lengthen the rise time of the output current pulse. Without considering other factors, a jitter lower than 10 ns may be necessary for the switches in the LTD module to provide output current parameters with an acceptable deviation.展开更多

For the dielectric material with relative permittivity εr of 3460, when the gas pressure is 7 Pa, the hold-off voltage of TPSS is 28 kV, the minimum trigger switch voltage drops to 128 V, the minimum discharging delay time and delay jitter are less than 35ns and 6ns, respectively, and the reliable operation can be reached within a very large range of charging voltage, between 0.46% and 99% of its self-breakdown voltage.

摘要The single event effect of a silicon–germanium heterojunction bipolar transistor(SiGe HBT) was thoroughly investigated. By considering the worst bias condition, the sensitive area of the proposed device was scanned with a pulsed laser. With variation of the collector bias and pulsed laser incident energy, the single event transient of the SiGe HBT was studied. Moreover, the single event transient produced by laser irradiation at a wavelength of 532 nm was more pronounced than at a wavelength of 1064 nm. Finally, the impact of the equivalent linear energy transfer of the 1064 nm pulsed laser on the single event transient was qualitatively examined by performing technology computer-aided design simulations, and a good consistency between the experimental data and the simulated outcomes was attained.
摘要Stripping injection overcomes the limitations of Liouville's theorem and is widely used for beam injection and accumulation in high-intensity synchrotrons. The interaction between the stripping foil and beam is crucial in the study of stripping injection, particularly in low-energy stripping injection synchrotrons, such as the XiPAF synchrotron. The foil thickness is the main parameter that affects the properties of the beam after injection. The thin stripping foil is reinforced with collodion during its installation. However, the collodion on the foil surface makes it difficult to determine its equivalent thickness, because the mechanical measurements are not sufficiently reliable or convenient for continuously determining foil thickness. We propose an online stripping foil thickness measurement method based on the ionization energy loss effect, which is suitable for any foil thickness and does not require additional equipment.Experimental studies were conducted using the XiPAF synchrotron. The limitation of this method was examined, and the results were verified by comparing the experimentally obtained beam current accumulation curves with the simulation results. This confirms the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method for measuring the stripping foil thickness.

摘要Doping with Ga effectively enhances the crystal quality and optical detection efficiency of zinc oxide(Zn O)single crystals, which has attracted considerable research interest in radiation detection. The application of Zn O:Ga(GZO)in nuclear energy is particularly significant and fascinating at the fundamental level, enabling neutron/gamma discrimination while preserving the response time properties of the single crystal in sub-nanoseconds,maximizing the effective counting rate of the pulsed radiation field. In this study, the single-particle waveform discrimination characteristics of GZO were evaluated for five charged particles(α,β,H+,Li+,and O8+and two prevalent uncharged particles(neutrons and gamma rays).Based on the timecorrelation single-photon counting(TCSPC)method, the luminescence decay time constants of the charged particles in the GZO crystal were determined as follows:1.21 ns for H+,1.50 ns for Li+,1.70 ns for O8+,1.56 ns forαparticles, and 1.09 ns forβparticles.Visible differences in the excitation time spectra curves were observed.Using the conventional time-domain or frequency-domain waveform discrimination techniques, waveform discrimination of 14.9 Me V neutrons and secondary gamma rays generated by the CPNG-6 device based on GZO scintillation was successfully implemented. The neutron signal constituted 77.93%of the total, indicating that GZO exhibited superior neutron/gamma discrimination sensitivity compared with that of a commercial stilbene crystal.Using the neutron/gamma screening outcomes,we reconstructed the voltage pulse height, charge height, and neutron multiplication time spectra of the pulsed neutron radiation field. The reconstructed neutron multiplication time spectrum exhibited a deviation of less than 3%relative to the result obtained using a commercial stilbene scintillator. This is the first report in the open literature on the neutron/gamma discrimination and reconstruction of Zn O pulsed radiation-field information.
摘要With different structural forms of ventilation pipes have various attenuation effects on incident shock waves while meeting ventilation requirements. The attenuation mechanism and the propagation law of shock waves in ventilation pipes of different structures are investigated by experiments and numerical simulations.Furthermore, for the same structure, the effects of peak pressure and positive pressure time on the attenuation rate are discussed. It is found that the attenuation rate increases with the incident shock wave pressure, and the shock wave attenuation rate tends to reach its limiting value k for the same structure and reasonably short positive pressure time.Under the same conditions, the attenuation rate is calculated using the pressure of the shock wave as follows:diffusion chamber pipe, branch pipe and selfconsumption pipe;the attenuation rate per unit volume is calculated as follows:self-consumption pipe, branch pipe and diffusion chamber pipe.In addition,an easy method is provided to calculate the attenuation rate of the shock wave in single and multi-stage ventilation pipes.Corresponding parameters are provided for various structures, and the margin of error between the formulae and experimental results is within 10%,which is significant for engineering applications.
摘要The development of guidance technology has made it possible for the earth penetration weapons(EPWs)to impact the target repeatedly at a close range. All of data can provide reference for the design of protective structures.

摘要Maintaining high piezoelectric response and piezoelectric temperature stability of lead-based piezoceramics is critical for applications under high-temperature environments.Unfortunately, the piezoelectric response of lead-based piezoceramics shows strong temperature dependence.Herein,an innovative strategy was proposed to solve this problem. The method consisted of constructing“slush-like”polar states by introducing localized heterostructures in the tetragonal phase structure to lower the energy barriers. The presence of the tetragonal phase stabilized the domain structure, providing excellent temperature stability, while the localized heterostructures also flattened the free energy landscape and enhanced the piezo-electric response. The strategy was implemented by using 0.11Pb(In0.5Nb0.5)O3-0.89Pb(Hf0.47Ti0.53)O3(PIN-PHT)piezoceramics doped with heterovalent ion Nb5+to form a“slush-like”polar state with strong in-teractions inside the ceramics. The piezoelectric response and relaxor behavior of the ceramics were then investigated using piezoelectric force microscopy to reveal the mapping relationship between the complex ferroelectric domain structure and both the piezoelectric response and temperature stability. At Nb5+doping amount of 0.8 mol%,the ceramics showed excellent comprehensive performances with d33=764 pC/N,Tc=319.1℃,εr=3253.59,kp=0.67,and tan δ=0.0122.At an external ambient temperature of 300℃,the d33 of PIN-PHT-0.8Nb5+ remained high at 734 pC/N,with piezoelectric performance retention of 96.1%,showing excellent temperature stability.Overall,a new path was proposed for developing Pb-based piezoceramics with both good piezoelectric response and high-temperature stability, promising to broaden the temperature range of high-temperature piezoceramics for various applications.

摘要Gamma-ray imaging systems are powerful tools in radiographic diagnosis. However, the recorded images suffer from degradations such as noise, blurring, and downsampling, consequently failing to meet high-precision diagnostic requirements. In this paper,we propose a novel single-image super-resolution algorithm to enhance the spatial resolution of gamma-ray imaging systems.A mathematical model of the gamma-ray imaging system is established based on maximum a posteriori estimation.Within the plug-and-play framework, the half-quadratic splitting method is employed to decouple the data fidelit term and the regularization term.An image denoiser using convolutional neural networks is adopted as an implicit image prior, referred to as a deep denoiser prior, eliminating the need to explicitly design a regularization term.Furthermore, the impact of the image boundary condition on reconstruction results is considered, and a method for estimating image boundaries is introduced. The results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively addresses boundary artifacts.By increasing the pixel number of the reconstructed images, the proposed algorithm is capable of recovering more details.Notably,in both simulation and real experiments, the proposed algorithm is demonstrated to achieve subpixel resolution, surpassing the Nyquist sampling limit determined by the camera pixel size.

摘要The cylindrical virtual cathode reflex triode is a new type of pulsed hard X-ray load, which has the advantages of simple structure, high radiation conversion efficiency, and simplicity in seriesparallel operation. This paper presents a method to reduce the impedance of the triode using a multiring cathode. The average electric field on the ring-cathode emission surface is enhanced due to edge effect, and the beam intensity is greatly increased in proportion to the square of the electric field strength.Multi-ring cathode is used to enlarge the emission area. Therefore, the reflex triode can work at lower impedance and generate a stronger beam under the same anode-cathode gap.In addition, the electric field enhancement of the cathode reduces the cathode emission stabilization time and enhances the operation stability of the triode. The effects of parameters such as ring width and ring gap on the triode impedance are simulated and studied. The cathode emission stabilization time and the X-ray conversion efficiency are compared. The design basis of cathode structure parameters and the impedance control method of the cylindrical virtual cathode reflex triode are given according to the simulations.

摘要The first domestic inorganic scintillator, Cs_2LiYCl_6:Ce3+(CLYC), was grown at Beijing Glass Research Institute using the vertical Bridgman method. This work contributes to the promotion of domestic development of CLYC.

摘要For nuclear measurements,it is necessary to obtain accurate information from nuclear pulses, which should be obtained by first shaping the pulses outputted by the detectors. However, commonly used pulse-shaping algorithms have certain problems. For example, certain pulse-shaping algorithms have long dead-times in high-counting-rate environments or are difficult to achieve in digital systems.Gaussian signals are widely used in analog nuclear instruments owing to their symmetry and completeness.A Gaussian signal is usually implemented by using a multilevel S–K filter in series or in parallel. It is difficult to construct a real-time digital Gaussian filter for the complex Gaussian filtering algorithm.Based on the multilevel cascade convolution,a pulse-shaping algorithm for double exponential signals is proposed in this study, which,in addition to double exponential signals, allows more complex output signal models to be used in the new algorithm. The proposed algorithm can be used in high-counting-rate environments and has been implemented in an FPGA with fewer multipliers than those required in other traditional Gaussian pulse-shaping algorithms. The offline processing results indicated that the average peak base width of the output-shaped pulses obtained using the proposed algorithm was reduced compared with that obtained using the traditional Gaussian pulse-shaping algorithm.Experimental results also demonstrated that signal-to-noise ratios and energy resolutions were improved, particularly for pulses with a low energy. The energy resolution was improved by 0.1–0.2%while improving the counting rate.

摘要A whole circuit model of a linear transformer drivers (LTD) module composed of 60 cavities in series was developed in the software PSPICE to study the influence of switching jitter on the operational performances of LTDs. Without considering other factors, a jitter lower than 10 ns may be necessary for the switches in the LTD module to provide output current parameters with an acceptable deviation.

摘要Tectonic and environmental patterns and evolution of the present North Tibetan Plateau (NTP) prior to the India collision with Asia is significant to understand the formation of the Tibetan Plateau and its influence on the environment. In this study,we integrated and analyzed the tectonostratigraphy and the special sedimentary layers whose climatic implications are clear in the NTP.Additionally,we stressed the tectonic and environmental events and their evolutions from the Mesozoic to the Early Cenozoic. Our results show that four tectonic phases, which sequentially took place during the Triassic,Jurassic,Cretaceous and Paleogene, played an important role on the formation of the North Tibet. The climate was basically dry and hot from the Triassic to the Eocene and became dry and cool since the Oligocene in this region. The climatic evolution was characterized by a transition from a wet and hot phase during the Triassic-Middle Jurassic,to a dry and hot phase during the Late Jurassic-Eocene.Both phases encompassed 5 wet and hot periods followed by 5 dry and hot climate events, respectively. In addition,we found that the tectonic deformation and the climatic conditions were spatially and temporally different. In detail,in the regions north of the PaleoTian Shan and Paleo-Qilian Mts.the tectonic deformation and climatic condition were stronger and wetter than in regions south of the Paleo-Tian Shan and Paleo-Qilian Mts.during the Late Triassic-Jurassic.Whereas in the Cretaceous, the tectonic movement was intensive in the west but steady in the east, and climate was dry in the south but wet in the north of NTP.The formation of the tectonic and climatic patterns in NTP were the consequence of either global climate change or regional tectonics, including the Paleo-Asian Ocean closure and the Qiangtang block,Lhasa block and India plate collision subsequently to Asia.Furthermore, the regional tectonic events occurred before any global climate change and drove the climatic change in the NTP.
摘要Displacement damage induced by neutron irradiation in China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS) is studied on bipolar transistors with lateral PNP, substrate PNP, and vertical NPN configurations, respectively. Comparison of the effects on different type transistors is conducted based on displacement damage factor, and the differences are analyzed through minority carrier lifetime calculation and structure analysis. The influence of CSNS neutrons irradiation on the lateral PNP transistors is analyzed by the gate-controlled method, including the oxide charge accumulation, surface recombine velocity, and minority carrier lifetime. The results indicate that the total ionizing dose in CSNS neutron radiation environment is negligible in this study. The displacement damage factors based on 1-MeV equivalent neutron flux of different transistors are consistent between Xi’an pulse reactor(XAPR) and CSNS.
