The ultimate goal of weapon system employing an explosively formed penetrator(EFP) is to defeat a target at the longest standoff.In order to do this,an EFP must be aerodynamically stable so as to strike the target at ...The ultimate goal of weapon system employing an explosively formed penetrator(EFP) is to defeat a target at the longest standoff.In order to do this,an EFP must be aerodynamically stable so as to strike the target at a small angle of obliquity,and the decay velocity per meter of EFP must be smaller at extended standoff.As the angle of attack increases,the penetration ability of EFP greatly reduces.The fins improve the EFP aeroballistic characteristics and decrease the flight drag of EFP as well.EFP with fins formed by three-point initiation is presented.The formation of EFP with fins is studied by LS-DYNA,and the aeroballistics is studied through experiment.The experimental results show that the decay velocity per meter of EFP with fins is much smaller than that of normal EFP.and the attitude angle steadily decreases.展开更多

The fatigue damage processes the primary, steady,and accelerated phases, which is similar to the axial irrecoverable deformation compiled from the loci of the loading cycles of rock salt. The cumulative fatigue damage increases with a decrease in the loading frequency and with an increase in the stress amplitude within the range tested. To take into account the effects of loading frequency and amplitude on the fatigue behavior of rock salt subjected to cyclic loading, a low cycle fatigue damage model was exclusively established combined with the Manson–Coffin formula. The proposed damage evolution equation was validated with experimental results and proved to be efficient in the prediction of fatigue damage tendency of rock salt under different loading frequencies and amplitudes.展开更多

Angle-of-arrival spectrum information is si...This paper addresses the probability of atmospheric refractivity estimation by using field measurements at an array of radio receivers in terms of angle-of-arrival spectrum. Angle-of-arrival spectrum information is simulated by the ray optics model and refractivity is expressed in the presence of an ideal tri-linear profile. The estimation of the refractivity is organized as an optimization problem and a genetic Mgorithm is used to search for the optimal solution from various trial refractivity profiles. Theoretical analysis demonstrates the feasibility of this method to retrieve the refractivity parameters. Simulation results indicate that this approach has a fair anti-noise ability and its accuracy performance is mainly dependent on the antenna aperture size and its positions.展开更多

This provides the convenience to study the e...Global navigation satellite system occultation sounder (GNOS) Fengyun-3C was launched successfully on September 23, 2013, which carried GPS/BDS receiver for the first time. This provides the convenience to study the enhancement results of low earth orbiter satellite (LEO) to BDS precise orbit determination (POD). First the data characteristic and code observation noise of GNOS are analyzed. Then the enhancement experiments in the case of global and regional ground observation stations layout are processed with four POD schemes: BDS single system, GPS/BDS double system, BDS single system with GNOS observations, GPS/BDS double system with GNOS observations. The precision of BDS orbits and clocks are compared via overlapping arcs. Results show that in the case of global station layout the along directional precision of GEO satellite has the biggest improvement, with the improvement percentage 60%. Then the precision of cross direction and the along direction of remaining satellites shows the second biggest improvement. The orbit precision of BDS-only POD in part of observation arcs some satellite even suffers a slight decline. The root mean square (RMS) of overlapping clock difference of visible arcs in GPS/BDS POD experiments improves by 0.1 ns level. As to the experiments of regional station layout with 7 ground stations, the orbit and clock overlapping precision and orbit predicting precision are analyzed. Results show that the predicting precision of BDS GEO satellites in the along direction improves by 85%. The remaining also has a substantial improvement, with the average percentage 21.7%. RMS of overlapping clock difference of visible arcs improves by 0.5 ns level.展开更多

The coating has a compact and uniform microstructure with low porosity and ...The cobalt-based alloy coating with different Co contents was deposited on 45 steel by electro-spark deposition with the self-made electrode. The coating has a compact and uniform microstructure with low porosity and no visible microcracks. When Co content increases grad- ually, oxygen content of coating samples 1-5 decreases first and then increases in the range of 2.52 wt%-3.05 wt%; sample 3 has the lowest oxygen content of 2.52 %. Mi- crohardness of the coating is improved remarkably com- pared with the substrate (HV 230.18). With Co content increasing, microhardness of the coating samples 1-5 first rises slightly and then declines rapidly in the range of HV 580.61-1052.33. Sample 3 gets the maximum of HV 1052.33, which is about 4.6 times that of the substrate. The coating presents excellent wear resistance, which first increases and then decreases when Co content increases. Sample 3 shows the best wear resistance of about 6.4 times that of the substrate. Main wear mechanism of the coating is abrasive wear and fatigue wear, along with oxidation wear under high speed or heavy load conditions.展开更多

Drop tests were performed to evaluate the dynamic energy absorption capacity of the material. Based on the tests results, we analyzed the mechanical behaviors of the material under different conditions and obtained the inherent influencing laws of some factors on the material's dynamic buffering performance. It was shown that the dynamic buffering performance varied directly with impact velocity, and inversely with the void diameter, thickness and buffeting area of the composite material.展开更多

Based on this, the influence of chang...A three-layer theoretical model is used to calculate the lee wave of a real example occurring over Blue Ridge in Pittsburgh, in which the maximum vertical velocity is 0.11 m s^-1. Based on this, the influence of changes in the thickness and values of the Scorer parameter in each layer are analyzed. It is shown that the influence of each layer parameters on the lee-wave amplitude is different, and the amplitude is more sensitive to the changes in the lower layer. Since the environment changes can affect the Scorer parameter profile, the influence of the environment on the amplitude is studied. The results show that the amplitude will decrease in the daytime because of solar heating, and increase at night because of radiational cooling, according to observational data. The case is also simulated by the Advanced Regional Prediction System (ARPS) model. The simulated amplitude is 0.089 m s^-1, which is close to the calculated result. Numerical sensitivity experiments are performed to test the former calculated experiments. The simulated results are consistent with the analytically calculated results.展开更多

Meanwhile, Software Defined Networking(SDN) emerges as a viable solution to facilitate the deployment of new network paradigm without disrupting production traffic by decoupling the control plane from data forwarding plane. In this paper, the essential properties which reflect ICN working principles are summarized, and a framework called SDICN is designed in accordance to the SDN philosophy. The algorithmic frameworks of SDICN which can satisfy the essential properties are designed based on the programmability and virtualization functions of SDN. Based on Open Flow and data center technology, a prototype of SDICN is implemented. By comparing the performance with the CCNx, the SDICN is proved to be feasibility and availability.展开更多

The breakwater is assumed to be rigid, thin, impermeable and vertically located in a finite water depth. The fluid domain is divided into two sub-regions of inner and outer by an auxiliary circular interface. Linear theory is assumed and the eigenfunction expansion approach is used to determine the wave field. In order to examine the validity of the theoretical model, the analytical solutions are compared to agree well with published results with the same parameters. Numerical results including wave amplitude, surge pressure, and wave force are presented with different model parameters. The major factors including wave parameters, structure configuration, and water depth that affect the surge pressure, wave forces, and wave amplitudes are discussed and illustrated by some graphs and cloud maps.展开更多

The dynamic thermal comfort evaluation model RWI(relative warmth index) and HDR(heat deficit rate) were built on the distinguishing features of public area in subway station. Taking one representative subway station in Nanjing as the research object, the thermal comfort conditions in different seasons and different parts were studied by field tests, questionnaires and model-evaluating. The calculated RWI shows that although the thermal comfort in Nanjing metro is relatively acceptable, ideal thermal comfort has not been achieved. And it is found that associated with predicted mean vote(PMV), using RWI can evaluate the thermal comfort more precisely.展开更多
To simulate the dynamic responses of the multibody system with a floating base when the upper parts spread with a certain sequence and relative speed, the homogeneous matrix method is employed to model and simulate a ...To simulate the dynamic responses of the multibody system with a floating base when the upper parts spread with a certain sequence and relative speed, the homogeneous matrix method is employed to model and simulate a four-body system with a floating base and the motions are analyzed when the upper parts are spread sequentially or synchronously. The rolling, swaying and heaving temporal variations are obtained when the multibody system is under the conditions of the static water along with the wave loads and the mean wind loads or the single pulse wind loads, respectively. The moment variations of each joint under the single pulse wind load are also gained. The numerical results showed that the swaying of the floating base is almost not influenced by the spreading time or form when the upper parts spread sequentially or synchronously, while the rolling and the heaving mainly depend on the spreading time and forms. The swaying and heaving motions are influenced significantly by the mean wind loads. The single pulse wind load also has influences on the dynamic responses. The torque of joint 3 and joint 4 in the single pulse wind environment may be twice that in the windless environment when the system spreads with 60 s duration.展开更多

A western Pacific tropical cyclone named Nabi in 2005 is simulated using this coupled air-sea spray modeling system to study the impacts of sea spray evaporation on the evolution of tropical cyclones. The results demonstrate that sea spray can lead to a significant increase of heat fluxes in the air-sea interface, especially the latent heat flux, the maximum of which can increase by up to about 35% - 80% The latent heat flux seems to be more important than the sensible heat flux for the evolution of tropical cyclones. Regardless of whether sea spray fluxes have been considered, the model can always simulate the track of Nabi well, which seems to indicate that sea spray has little impact on the movement of tropical cyclones. However, with sea spray fluxes taken into account in the model, the intensity of a simulated tropical cyclone can have significant increase. Due to the enhancement of water vapor and heat from the sea surface to the air caused by sea spray, the warm core structure is better-defined, the minimum sea level pressure decreases and the vertical speed is stronger around the eye in the experiments, which is propitious to the development and evolution of tropical cyclones.展开更多
Based on 1948 - 2004 monthly Reynolds Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and NCEP/NCAR atmospheric reanalysis data, the relationships between autumn Indian Ocean Dipole Mode (IODM) and the strength of South China Sea ...Based on 1948 - 2004 monthly Reynolds Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and NCEP/NCAR atmospheric reanalysis data, the relationships between autumn Indian Ocean Dipole Mode (IODM) and the strength of South China Sea (SCS) Summer Monsoon are investigated through the EOF and smooth correlation methods. The results are as the following. (1) There are two dominant modes of autumn SSTA over the tropical Indian Ocean. They are the uniformly signed basin-wide mode (USBM) and Indian Ocean dipole mode (IODM), respectively. The SSTA associated with USBM are prevailing deeadal to interdecadal variability characterized by a unanimous pattern, while the IODM mainly represents interannual variability of SSTA. (2) When positive (negative) IODM exists over the tropical Indian Ocean during the preceding fall, the SCS summer monsoon will be weak (strong). The negative correlation between the interannual variability of IODM and that of SCS summer monsoon is significant during the warm phase of long-term trend but insignificant during the cool phase. (3) When the SCS summer monsoon is strong (weak), the IODM will be in its positive (negative) phase during the following fall season. The positive correlation between the interannual variability of SCS summer monsoon and that of IODM is significant during both the warm and cool phase of the long-term trend, but insignificant during the transition between the two phases.展开更多

Four water depth retrieval models (single-band, dou- ble-ratio-band, multi-band, and BP network models) were evaluated using TM image and water data from Bangong Co Lake, which is located in China's Tibet Autonomous Region and Indian Kashmir. Tested by independent data, comparison of these four models demonstrates that BP network model performed better than the multi-band model, with the single-band model performing the worst. To sum up, this study demonstrates that first, BP network model performed better than the traditional model; second, precise atmospheric correction and radiation study, affected by different water level sand sediment, could improve the precision of water depth retrieval.展开更多

With both IOD and Equatorial East Pacific Ocean SSTA forcing, the southwest monsoon will break out much later than normal, the intensity of the SCS summer monsoon also is weaker than normal, and less rainfall in North China is simulated. Based on Open Flow and data center technology, a prototype of SDICN is implemented. By comparing the performance with the CCNx, the SDICN is proved to be feasibility and availability.

摘要The problem of the hydrodynamic interaction with the arc-shaped bottom-mounted breakwaters is investigated theoretically. The breakwater is assumed to be rigid, thin, impermeable and vertically located in a finite water depth. The fluid domain is divided into two sub-regions of inner and outer by an auxiliary circular interface. Linear theory is assumed and the eigenfunction expansion approach is used to determine the wave field. In order to examine the validity of the theoretical model, the analytical solutions are compared to agree well with published results with the same parameters. Numerical results including wave amplitude, surge pressure, and wave force are presented with different model parameters. The major factors including wave parameters, structure configuration, and water depth that affect the surge pressure, wave forces, and wave amplitudes are discussed and illustrated by some graphs and cloud maps.
摘要We analyzed the characteristics of subway station environment and the change of thermal comfort for passengers when they are in and out of the station. The dynamic thermal comfort evaluation model RWI(relative warmth index) and HDR(heat deficit rate) were built on the distinguishing features of public area in subway station. Taking one representative subway station in Nanjing as the research object, the thermal comfort conditions in different seasons and different parts were studied by field tests, questionnaires and model-evaluating. The calculated RWI shows that although the thermal comfort in Nanjing metro is relatively acceptable, ideal thermal comfort has not been achieved. And it is found that associated with predicted mean vote(PMV), using RWI can evaluate the thermal comfort more precisely.

摘要To simulate the dynamic responses of the multibody system with a floating base when the upper parts spread with a certain sequence and relative speed, the homogeneous matrix method is employed to model and simulate a four-body system with a floating base and the motions are analyzed when the upper parts are spread sequentially or synchronously. The rolling, swaying and heaving temporal variations are obtained when the multibody system is under the conditions of the static water along with the wave loads and the mean wind loads or the single pulse wind loads, respectively. The moment variations of each joint under the single pulse wind load are also gained. The numerical results showed that the swaying of the floating base is almost not influenced by the spreading time or form when the upper parts spread sequentially or synchronously, while the rolling and the heaving mainly depend on the spreading time and forms. The swaying and heaving motions are influenced significantly by the mean wind loads. The single pulse wind load also has influences on the dynamic responses. The torque of joint 3 and joint 4 in the single pulse wind environment may be twice that in the windless environment when the system spreads with 60 s duration.

摘要The latest version of sea spray flux parameterization scheme developed by Andreas is coupled with the PSU/NCAR model MM5 in this paper. A western Pacific tropical cyclone named Nabi in 2005 is simulated using this coupled air-sea spray modeling system to study the impacts of sea spray evaporation on the evolution of tropical cyclones. The results demonstrate that sea spray can lead to a significant increase of heat fluxes in the air-sea interface, especially the latent heat flux, the maximum of which can increase by up to about 35% - 80% The latent heat flux seems to be more important than the sensible heat flux for the evolution of tropical cyclones. Regardless of whether sea spray fluxes have been considered, the model can always simulate the track of Nabi well, which seems to indicate that sea spray has little impact on the movement of tropical cyclones. However, with sea spray fluxes taken into account in the model, the intensity of a simulated tropical cyclone can have significant increase. Due to the enhancement of water vapor and heat from the sea surface to the air caused by sea spray, the warm core structure is better-defined, the minimum sea level pressure decreases and the vertical speed is stronger around the eye in the experiments, which is propitious to the development and evolution of tropical cyclones.

摘要Based on 1948 - 2004 monthly Reynolds Sea Surface Temperature (SST) and NCEP/NCAR atmospheric reanalysis data, the relationships between autumn Indian Ocean Dipole Mode (IODM) and the strength of South China Sea (SCS) Summer Monsoon are investigated through the EOF and smooth correlation methods. The results are as the following. (1) There are two dominant modes of autumn SSTA over the tropical Indian Ocean. They are the uniformly signed basin-wide mode (USBM) and Indian Ocean dipole mode (IODM), respectively. The SSTA associated with USBM are prevailing deeadal to interdecadal variability characterized by a unanimous pattern, while the IODM mainly represents interannual variability of SSTA. (2) When positive (negative) IODM exists over the tropical Indian Ocean during the preceding fall, the SCS summer monsoon will be weak (strong). The negative correlation between the interannual variability of IODM and that of SCS summer monsoon is significant during the warm phase of long-term trend but insignificant during the cool phase. (3) When the SCS summer monsoon is strong (weak), the IODM will be in its positive (negative) phase during the following fall season. The positive correlation between the interannual variability of SCS summer monsoon and that of IODM is significant during both the warm and cool phase of the long-term trend, but insignificant during the transition between the two phases.

摘要A kind of composite buffering material was made by filling the voids of honeycomb paperboard with polyurethane. Drop tests were performed to evaluate the dynamic energy absorption capacity of the material. Based on the tests results,the mechanical behaviors of the material under low velocity dynamic impact conditions were analyzed. It was shown that the absorbed energy of the composite material varies inversely with the void diameter. The absorbed energy of the composite material is 1- 2 times than that of honeycomb paperboard and polyurethane. The energy absorption efficiency of the composite material is better than those of honeycomb paperboard and polyurethane.

摘要This paper reviewed studies on remote sensing of water depth retrieval. Four water depth retrieval models (single-band, dou- ble-ratio-band, multi-band, and BP network models) were evaluated using TM image and water data from Bangong Co Lake, which is located in China's Tibet Autonomous Region and Indian Kashmir. Tested by independent data, comparison of these four models demonstrates that BP network model performed better than the multi-band model, with the single-band model performing the worst. To sum up, this study demonstrates that first, BP network model performed better than the traditional model; second, precise atmospheric correction and radiation study, affected by different water level sand sediment, could improve the precision of water depth retrieval.
摘要In this paper, a main structure of DC distributed power system is introduced;the stability of the output voltage in parallel system is put forward. This paper analyses the output impedance of master-slave current sharing mode and average current sharing, analyses the stability of parallel system through simulation, there is Right-half plane (RHP) polar in the Bode plot of input impedance. At last this paper distinguishes whether this system is stability and verifies the validity of the simulation.
摘要Hydrogen as a clean energy source is made full use, this paper researches the electrical model of PEMFC generator, analyzes the harmonic trend and its hazards when the generator operates with linear load and nonlinear load running synchronously, comparatively analyzes the commonly used harmonic suppression technology. Simulate and analyze the filter performance when APF is used. The results illustrate that as a filter device, APF can absorb the harmonic properly in PEMFC power system.

The factors include the technology of power matching, harmonic suppression and the stability of electronic cascaded systems etc.
摘要The circulation of β-gyres in tropical cyclones is studied using numerical simulations. As shown in the result, there is clear circulation of β-gyres in the deviation flow field of the middle layer of the model,i.e. there is cyclone current west of the vortex center but anticyclone current east of it. The theory analysis shows that the circulation of β-gyres is formed by the advection of geostrophic vorticity.

摘要This paper investigates the influence of Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) on climatic variations over East Asian monsoon region, based on CAS IAP AGCM-Ⅱduring Equatorial East Pacific Ocean SSTA or not. The results show that the southwest monsoon over East Asian will break out later than normal, the intensity of the summer monsoon over the South China Sea (SCS) is stronger than normal, and more rainfall on Chinese main land is simulated when only IOD forcing exists. With both IOD and Equatorial East Pacific Ocean SSTA forcing, the southwest monsoon will break out much later than normal, the intensity of the SCS summer monsoon also is weaker than normal, and less rainfall in North China is simulated. Therefore, Equatorial East Pacific Ocean SSTA and IOD have a synergic effect.
