Urban parks play a crucial role in children’s development.With UGC demonstrating their value in capturing granular user experiences,they have become an increasingly impor-tant data source in park research.However,the...Urban parks play a crucial role in children’s development.With UGC demonstrating their value in capturing granular user experiences,they have become an increasingly impor-tant data source in park research.However,their application remains preliminary and chal-lenging when studying children.This study investigates urban park services related to children’s wellbeing through user-generated content from 46 parks in Shanghai.It developed a structured lexicon by integrating 11 established audit tools with UGC,quantifying public perception of services across 9 dimensions(including 44 indicators)of children’s well-being.Through BERT sentiment analysis,regression modeling,and machine learning,this study as-sessed service performance,identified key services influencing perceptions of children’s well-being,and captured their non-linear and interaction patterns.Findings indicate that Education services show substantial variation across parks;Safety,Nature,Comfort,and Play services significantly influence perceptions,with Play dominating in parks with sufficient facilities.Interaction effects between Play-Nature and Play-Safety combinations highlight the impor-tance of integrated design.Additionally,the analysis revealed a conflict between safety man-agement practices and user expectations in Shanghai parks,suggesting a shift from restrictive to supportive safety practices.These findings provide practical insights for park optimization and demonstrate the potential of UGC in child-friendly environment research.展开更多
In response to demands for improved living standards and sustainable develop-ment,optimizing the spatial morphology of residential districts is crucial for reducing energy use and enhancing indoor environmental qualit...In response to demands for improved living standards and sustainable develop-ment,optimizing the spatial morphology of residential districts is crucial for reducing energy use and enhancing indoor environmental quality.This study introduces a multi-objective opti-mization(MOO)framework to optimize residential district morphology for energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality.Using parametric modeling and performance simulation,six representative forms,defined by plan layout and vertical distribution,were developed from field surveys in Qingdao,a cold-climate city in China.Early-stage planning variables―building orientation,floor height,and window-to-wall ratios(WWR)―were optimized for energy use in-tensity(EUI),useful daylight illuminance(UDI),and predicted percentage dissatisfied(PPD).Results show reductions of 6.14%in EUI and 4.84%in PPD,and a 7.92%increase in UDI.Slab layouts achieved the lowest EUI,while mixed-height forms maximized UDI;The Slab-Highrise model showed the best overall performance.Increasing south-facing WWR improved energy efficiency and comfort,whereas larger east-and west-facing WWR enhanced comfort but slightly reduced daylight.Despite moderate numerical gains,results demonstrate robust optimization trends validated by statistical testing and empirical data.The study demonstrates how early-stage planning decisions influence multi-dimensional building performance and of-fers a validated,transferable framework to guide district planning in cold-climate regions.展开更多
Reducing carbon emissions is fundamental to achieving carbon neutrality.Existing studies have typically estimated emissions by predicting fossil fuel consumption across sectors under different socioeconomic scenarios;...Reducing carbon emissions is fundamental to achieving carbon neutrality.Existing studies have typically estimated emissions by predicting fossil fuel consumption across sectors under different socioeconomic scenarios;however,uncertainties in future development often lead to deviations from these assumptions.To address this limitation,this study proposes a data-driven approach for evaluating national carbon emissions using historical data.Countries with similar energy consumption patterns were selected as reference samples,and their emission pathways were analyzed to predict future emissions for countries that have not yet reached their peak.Key indicators,including peak levels,timing,plateau duration,and post-peak decline rates,were identified.The results indicate that the trends in unpeaked economies can be effectively assessed based on the emission patterns of countries with comparable energy structures.Applying this framework to China suggests a carbon peak between 2027 and 2030,in the range of 14.207 to 16.234 Gt,followed by a gradual decline from 2031 to 2036.Compared with the average results of the existing studies,the predicted minimum and maximum emissions show error margins of 10.1% and 1.41%,respectively.This study proposes a top-down methodology that provides a transparent,reproducible,and empirical framework for forecasting carbon emission pathways,thereby offering a scientific basis for assessing countries that have not yet reached their emissions peak.展开更多
The students receiving higher education boosted a total increase of 416.45%in China in last 20 years,resulting in newly built campuses reaching over 4.4 billion m2.Therefore,implementing low-carbon development on u...The students receiving higher education boosted a total increase of 416.45%in China in last 20 years,resulting in newly built campuses reaching over 4.4 billion m2.Therefore,implementing low-carbon development on university campuses is an important part of achieving carbon neutrality in China.In this study,the old and new campuses of Southeast University in China were selected and the Rhino Grasshopper tool was used to create and calibrate their energy model with real electricity data to ensure the 20%error range.The calibrated energy model was used to set up four base scenarios under different development paths in year 2030 and 2050,including natural development,campus construction,policy-oriented,and sustainable development.The simulation indicates that campus construction leads to the greatest increase in carbon emissions,with the old campus and new campus experiencing a 16.7%and 162.9%rise,respectively,compared to the current situation.In contrast,policy-oriented scenarios result in the most significant reduction in emissions,decreasing by 121.4%and 114.5%for each scenario,respectively.Only policy-driven approaches will enable both campuses to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.The driving factor decomposition analysis indicates that in no-policy-intervention scenarios,the primary contributors to carbon emissions are short-term climate fluctuations and aging equipment.Conversely,in scenarios with government intervention,the pivotal elements are the implementation of renewable energy and the development of low-carbon technologies.The results of the static scenario combination show that the old campus has a significant lower average carbon emission of 7,080 t than 279,090 t of the new campus in 2050.However,the new campus shows higher potential,with a proportion of 38.3%achieving carbon neutrality in the combination results,compared to 17.2%for the old campus.The study results offer insights into the pathway for universities to achieve carbon neutrality,emphasizing the significance of policy direction and the adoption of renewable energy.展开更多
Under the dual influences of traditional Life-Death views and four decades of urban expansion,urban cemeteries,as unique elements of urban form,have transformed,inevitably impacting land planning and functional layout...Under the dual influences of traditional Life-Death views and four decades of urban expansion,urban cemeteries,as unique elements of urban form,have transformed,inevitably impacting land planning and functional layouts.These spaces have been inadequately ad-dressed,especially in stock-based renewal where land scarcity intensifies conflicts between burial needs and urban development.This study focuses on three in-situ retained urban cem-eteries in Nanjing,adopting a case study approach with urban morphology,multi-source quan-titative analysis(including three spatial vitality elements),and data visualization,supplemented by comparative verification.Key findings reveal that urban cemeteries exhibit strong internal stability but low vitality and high negative externality.Their morphology has remained almost unchanged,with surrounding areas showing significant housing price depre-ciation within a 1-km radius,adjacent communities’visual avoidance,and low daily pedestrian flow,peaking only during Qingming Festival.These results quantitatively verify that such cem-eteries act as“fixed patches”in the urban fabric,restricting land efficiency and urban integra-tion due to cultural and physical factors.This research uniquely contributes by interpreting cultural-spatial interplay,providing empirical insights into“Not-In-My-Backyard”facilities in China.It emphasizes the necessity of integrating cemeteries into urban planning and concludes with forecasts for their future,considering emerging urban renewal trends.展开更多
This study examined the influence of the built environment surrounding rail stations on rail transit ridership and its spatiotemporal variations,aiming to enhance rail transit operational efficiency and inform station...This study examined the influence of the built environment surrounding rail stations on rail transit ridership and its spatiotemporal variations,aiming to enhance rail transit operational efficiency and inform station planning and development.Data from 159 metro stations in Nanjing,collected over a 14-d period,were analyzed to identify changes in weekday and weekend ridership patterns.The analysis included explanatory variables grouped into three categories:urban spatial variables,socioeconomic vari-ables,and transit service variables.A geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model was developed,and its performance was compared with that of ordinary least squares(OLS)and geographically weighted regression(GWR)models.The results demonstrated that the GTWR model outperformed others in analyzing the relationship between rail transit ridership and the built environment.In addition,the coefficients of explanatory variables showed significant variation across spatiotemporal dimensions,revealing distinct patterns.Notably,the influence of commuter flows led to more pronounced temporal heterogeneity in the coefficients observed on weekdays.These findings offer valuable insights for optimizing urban public transportation systems and advancing integrated urban rail development.展开更多

Maintaining indoor air quality(IAQ)in dense university campuses is increasingly challenging due to urban densification and limited winter ventilation.This study proposes six climate-adaptive,health-oriented passive ve...Maintaining indoor air quality(IAQ)in dense university campuses is increasingly challenging due to urban densification and limited winter ventilation.This study proposes six climate-adaptive,health-oriented passive ventilation prototypes,combining three inlets(M1:underground pipes;M2:sunken square;M3:windcatcher)and two outlets(N1:negative pressure roof;N2:solar chimney).Using ANSYS Fluent 2024R2,CFD simulations were conducted in five representative high-density Chinese cities across major thermal zones,considering low-rise(T1)and high-rise(T2)urban forms.Results show that under winter closed-window conditions,the N1 configuration achieved higher health ventilation performance(HVP),reducing indoor CO2 by 82.6%-86.0%,while N2 enhanced thermal gain and energy efficiency.Climate zone influenced performance more than urban form type,highlighting the need for climate-specific design strategies.Long-term evaluation under the SSP5-8.5 scenario indicated that recommended prototypes maintained higher HVP in warmer regions and greater stability under extreme conditions in colder regions.This study develops a health-oriented prototype combination design methodology that systematically integrates multiple passive strategies,accounts for climatic adaptability and urban morphology,and provides context-specific solutions to improve IAQ and promote respiratory health.The outcomes offer an expandable,replicable,and operational design method for designing health-focused buildings and guiding sustainable urban renewal in high-density environments.展开更多

The primary objective of this study was to develop an autoclaved light concrete(ALC)material with ultra-thermal insulation property and to investigate the relationship between its physical characteristics and mechanic...The primary objective of this study was to develop an autoclaved light concrete(ALC)material with ultra-thermal insulation property and to investigate the relationship between its physical characteristics and mechanical properties.Through tests of dry bulk density and compressive strength,relationship of physical characteristics and mechanical properties of samples were studied,resulting in a material with ultra-thermal insulation property.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)were applied to analyze the micro-morphology and elemental composition of samples.To identify the product phases,X-ray diffraction(XRD)was engaged.The test results showed that compressive strength and thermal coefficient were reduced with the increasing of aluminum powder within the mixtures.As a result the optimal thermal coefficient and compressive strength of samples were improved to 0.061 W/(m·k)and 1.2 MPa,respectively.SEM,EDX and XRD analyses showed that calcium silicate hydrate and tobermorite crystal were main resultant phases.展开更多

They have also been major contributors to the processes of promoting economic development since China's reform and China's industrialization and urbanization. Along with im- provements in the worldwide industrial division of labor and the gradual implementation of China's development zones' Go Global strategy, it is necessary for Africa, a hot spot of global industrialization in recent years, to learn from China's development zone model. By attracting China's capital, technology and enterprises to Africa via Sino-African co-built development zones, a pattern of high com- plementarity and mutual development between China and Africa can be formed which does favor further improvement of the global industrial division of labor. In order to study the applicability and prospect of China's development zone model in Africa as per the above-mentioned international situation, this paper first sorts out the development course of China's development zones and discusses their roles in China's industrialization and urbanization. Subsequently, this paper analyzes the status quo of industrial development in Africa as a whole and the differences in industrial development between China and Africa, aiming to justify the timing of industrial transfer from China to Africa by constructing Sino-African co-built development zones. Lastly, this paper analyzes the current situation of six Sino-African co-built development zones by focusing on their operation modes, industry types and investment promotion models. In the authors' view, Sino-African co-built development zones can function as a new window of China-African cooperation, a new car- rier of African industrialization, and a new engine of global industrial restructuring. China should adhere to the general principles of 'Sino-African Integration, Multi-Cooperation, Mutual Benefit, Scientific Location, Systematic Planning, Cluster Growth and Open De- velopment' in the planning and construction of development zones in Africa, effectively promoting Africa as the very important part of the global industry system.展开更多

Taking the typical stele relic in Xi'an Beili...In order to improve the seismic performance of Chinese traditional stele relics, a suitable aseismic strengthening method of Chinese traditional stele relics is proposed. Taking the typical stele relic in Xi'an Beilin as an example, the on-site investigations were carried out to obtain the actual geometric size and damage state of the stele relic. Then, the structural performance of the stele relic was analyzed by the finite element software ANSYS. Finally, the two different aseismic strengthening methods of the traditional stele relic are proposed and comparatively analyzed. The results show that in addition to the common problems, such as weathering, and cracks, etc, earthquakes seriously threaten the structural safety of stele relics. Under the rarely-occurring earthquake of eight degree, the unstrengthened stele relic will be overturned, and many cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. When the stele relic is strengthened by the stainless angle steel strengthening method, the stele relic will not be overturned, but some cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. When the stele relic is strengthened by the base isolation strengthening method, the stele relic will not be overturned, and no cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. Therefore, the aseismic strengthening effect of the base isolation strengthening method is obviously better than that of the stainless angle steel strengthening method, and this method is a suitable aseismic strengthening method of Chinese traditional stele relics.展开更多
High-level investment facilitation is crucial for China's overseas free economic zones(COFEZs)to attract and retain investment,mitigate business interruption risks,and foster a virtuous cycle.While research on inv...High-level investment facilitation is crucial for China's overseas free economic zones(COFEZs)to attract and retain investment,mitigate business interruption risks,and foster a virtuous cycle.While research on investment facilitation in COFEZs has mainly focused on summarizing and examining the investment facilitation measures adopted by typical national-level examples of COFEZs,relatively little attention has been paid to investigating the overall level and general problems of investment facilitation across COFEZs.This study expands the scope of case investigations by taking 60 COFEZs as samples.It constructs a comprehensive evaluation indicator system which includes four dimensions:industrial infrastructure,social infrastructure,business support services,and seamless administrative supervision.By employing content analysis and regression analysis,this study identifies the characteristics and influencing factors of investment facilitation level in COFEZs.The results show that the overall level of investment facilitation in COFEZs is currently low.Specifically,COFEZs exhibit higher levels of investment facilitation in processing and manufacturing types and in Europe,while those in trade and logistics types and in Africa are relatively poor.Industrial infrastructure and business support services contribute more significantly to the overall scores of investment facilitation in COFEZs compared to social infrastructure and seamless administrative supervision.The investment facilitation level in COFEZs is essentially the result of a series of behaviors by developers and host governments,and it is affected by a combination of developers'perceptions of investment facilitation and the social environment in which developers and host governments promote investment facilitation.This study offers a new perspective on understanding COFEZs and contributes to the sustainable development of COFEZs.展开更多

Then,the comparison on calculation methods include the Chinese original calculation method,the Chinese present calculation method,the American present calculation method and the European present calculation method is studied with case analysis method.The results show that the Chinese original calculation method of shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams is based on the allowable stress calculation method,and the design safety factors are 3. 55- 4. 00. The standard value of the compressive strength of concrete cubes is 8. 48 MPa,the standard value of the concrete tensile strength is 1.20 MPa,the standard value of the yield strength of rectangular rebars is 229. 56 MPa,and the standard value of the yield strength of round rebars is 276. 82 MPa. The average value of the concrete cover thickness of beams and columns is 35.96 mm. In term of calculation area of hoop rebars of reinforced concrete beams,without considering earthquake loads,the Chinese original structural calculation method is safer than the Chinese present structural calculation method,but is more unsafe than the American present structural calculation method and the European present structural calculation method. The results can provide the support for structural safety assessments and repair designs of Chinese modern reinforced concrete buildings.展开更多

Mosques are an integral part of the China and the Muslims’ society due to their unique style and features. The courtyard is a common element in the design of mosques, and its components vary depending on regional traditions of the time and place where it was built. With the growth of interest in the term of human needs and participation between designer and users in evaluating the design quality, this study summarizes the modern and traditional Chinese mosque courtyard design for Arabian Muslim users in order to evaluate whether their physical and spiritual needs are being appropriately met or not. A questionnaire was distributed to Arab Muslims living in the city of Nanjing to discuss the quality evaluation of traditional and modern mosques’ courtyard design. Through the analysis of seven natural and physical key issue elements in the design of the courtyard, the functional characteristics and configurations are analyzed. The results can be used to improve the design of the new mosque in future by using the vocabulary that accomplishes the architectural fusion of both Chinese and Islamic culture, as well as aesthetic and functional aspects.展开更多

Due to the complexity of sustainable urban research,the environmental sustainability was assessed.Taking the sponge city as an example,the case study was conducted based on the integrated geographic information system...Due to the complexity of sustainable urban research,the environmental sustainability was assessed.Taking the sponge city as an example,the case study was conducted based on the integrated geographic information system(GIS)and emergy methods.The results demonstrate that the emergy of agricultural crops,major industrial products,comprehensive energy products,imports and exports,waste products and increased natural system emergy are the decisive factors for the sustainability assessment.Agricultural crops are the primary contributor,which accounts for 48.9%of the total emergy amount.Urban solid waste has a self-evident superiority in the waste products emergy proportion.Surface water and vegetal biomass emergy possess the pivotal consequences,far higher than soil organic matter.The sewage treatment stations(0.11%)play a small role in the sustainability assessment of the sponge city.The emergy sustainability index is 0.02181,which indicates poor environmental sustainability.According to the study results,increasing renewable energy input proportion and adopting the vegetal biomass of high unit emergy values(UEVs)can improve the sustainability level.展开更多

摘要In response to demands for improved living standards and sustainable develop-ment,optimizing the spatial morphology of residential districts is crucial for reducing energy use and enhancing indoor environmental quality.This study introduces a multi-objective opti-mization(MOO)framework to optimize residential district morphology for energy efficiency and indoor environmental quality.Using parametric modeling and performance simulation,six representative forms,defined by plan layout and vertical distribution,were developed from field surveys in Qingdao,a cold-climate city in China.Early-stage planning variables―building orientation,floor height,and window-to-wall ratios(WWR)―were optimized for energy use in-tensity(EUI),useful daylight illuminance(UDI),and predicted percentage dissatisfied(PPD).Results show reductions of 6.14%in EUI and 4.84%in PPD,and a 7.92%increase in UDI.Slab layouts achieved the lowest EUI,while mixed-height forms maximized UDI;The Slab-Highrise model showed the best overall performance.Increasing south-facing WWR improved energy efficiency and comfort,whereas larger east-and west-facing WWR enhanced comfort but slightly reduced daylight.Despite moderate numerical gains,results demonstrate robust optimization trends validated by statistical testing and empirical data.The study demonstrates how early-stage planning decisions influence multi-dimensional building performance and of-fers a validated,transferable framework to guide district planning in cold-climate regions.

摘要Reducing carbon emissions is fundamental to achieving carbon neutrality.Existing studies have typically estimated emissions by predicting fossil fuel consumption across sectors under different socioeconomic scenarios;however,uncertainties in future development often lead to deviations from these assumptions.To address this limitation,this study proposes a data-driven approach for evaluating national carbon emissions using historical data.Countries with similar energy consumption patterns were selected as reference samples,and their emission pathways were analyzed to predict future emissions for countries that have not yet reached their peak.Key indicators,including peak levels,timing,plateau duration,and post-peak decline rates,were identified.The results indicate that the trends in unpeaked economies can be effectively assessed based on the emission patterns of countries with comparable energy structures.Applying this framework to China suggests a carbon peak between 2027 and 2030,in the range of 14.207 to 16.234 Gt,followed by a gradual decline from 2031 to 2036.Compared with the average results of the existing studies,the predicted minimum and maximum emissions show error margins of 10.1% and 1.41%,respectively.This study proposes a top-down methodology that provides a transparent,reproducible,and empirical framework for forecasting carbon emission pathways,thereby offering a scientific basis for assessing countries that have not yet reached their emissions peak.

摘要The students receiving higher education boosted a total increase of 416.45%in China in last 20 years,resulting in newly built campuses reaching over 4.4 billion m2.Therefore,implementing low-carbon development on university campuses is an important part of achieving carbon neutrality in China.In this study,the old and new campuses of Southeast University in China were selected and the Rhino Grasshopper tool was used to create and calibrate their energy model with real electricity data to ensure the 20%error range.The calibrated energy model was used to set up four base scenarios under different development paths in year 2030 and 2050,including natural development,campus construction,policy-oriented,and sustainable development.The simulation indicates that campus construction leads to the greatest increase in carbon emissions,with the old campus and new campus experiencing a 16.7%and 162.9%rise,respectively,compared to the current situation.In contrast,policy-oriented scenarios result in the most significant reduction in emissions,decreasing by 121.4%and 114.5%for each scenario,respectively.Only policy-driven approaches will enable both campuses to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.The driving factor decomposition analysis indicates that in no-policy-intervention scenarios,the primary contributors to carbon emissions are short-term climate fluctuations and aging equipment.Conversely,in scenarios with government intervention,the pivotal elements are the implementation of renewable energy and the development of low-carbon technologies.The results of the static scenario combination show that the old campus has a significant lower average carbon emission of 7,080 t than 279,090 t of the new campus in 2050.However,the new campus shows higher potential,with a proportion of 38.3%achieving carbon neutrality in the combination results,compared to 17.2%for the old campus.The study results offer insights into the pathway for universities to achieve carbon neutrality,emphasizing the significance of policy direction and the adoption of renewable energy.
摘要Under the dual influences of traditional Life-Death views and four decades of urban expansion,urban cemeteries,as unique elements of urban form,have transformed,inevitably impacting land planning and functional layouts.These spaces have been inadequately ad-dressed,especially in stock-based renewal where land scarcity intensifies conflicts between burial needs and urban development.This study focuses on three in-situ retained urban cem-eteries in Nanjing,adopting a case study approach with urban morphology,multi-source quan-titative analysis(including three spatial vitality elements),and data visualization,supplemented by comparative verification.Key findings reveal that urban cemeteries exhibit strong internal stability but low vitality and high negative externality.Their morphology has remained almost unchanged,with surrounding areas showing significant housing price depre-ciation within a 1-km radius,adjacent communities’visual avoidance,and low daily pedestrian flow,peaking only during Qingming Festival.These results quantitatively verify that such cem-eteries act as“fixed patches”in the urban fabric,restricting land efficiency and urban integra-tion due to cultural and physical factors.This research uniquely contributes by interpreting cultural-spatial interplay,providing empirical insights into“Not-In-My-Backyard”facilities in China.It emphasizes the necessity of integrating cemeteries into urban planning and concludes with forecasts for their future,considering emerging urban renewal trends.

摘要This study examined the influence of the built environment surrounding rail stations on rail transit ridership and its spatiotemporal variations,aiming to enhance rail transit operational efficiency and inform station planning and development.Data from 159 metro stations in Nanjing,collected over a 14-d period,were analyzed to identify changes in weekday and weekend ridership patterns.The analysis included explanatory variables grouped into three categories:urban spatial variables,socioeconomic vari-ables,and transit service variables.A geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model was developed,and its performance was compared with that of ordinary least squares(OLS)and geographically weighted regression(GWR)models.The results demonstrated that the GTWR model outperformed others in analyzing the relationship between rail transit ridership and the built environment.In addition,the coefficients of explanatory variables showed significant variation across spatiotemporal dimensions,revealing distinct patterns.Notably,the influence of commuter flows led to more pronounced temporal heterogeneity in the coefficients observed on weekdays.These findings offer valuable insights for optimizing urban public transportation systems and advancing integrated urban rail development.

摘要This study reconsiders the evolving relationship between architects and computa-tional systems in the context of increasingly embedded digital and intelligent technologies.Rather than focusing only on what tools can do,it looks at how tool-making itself helps reshape how architects think and work.Through four web-based generative design applications―SIM-Forms,ANYSite,NEXUSpace,and FLEXUrban―this paper investigates how architects engage with computation not only as tool users,but also as developers of generative algorithms,and organizers of workflows.Based on these cases,the paper proposes a framework of three interrelated mechanisms of human-computer collaboration:reconstructing intuitive media,adopting algorithmic design thinking,and organizing programmable design systems.The framework aims to provide a conceptual foundation for reimagining how architects can stay actively involved in shaping the tools and processes that define digital design today.

摘要Maintaining indoor air quality(IAQ)in dense university campuses is increasingly challenging due to urban densification and limited winter ventilation.This study proposes six climate-adaptive,health-oriented passive ventilation prototypes,combining three inlets(M1:underground pipes;M2:sunken square;M3:windcatcher)and two outlets(N1:negative pressure roof;N2:solar chimney).Using ANSYS Fluent 2024R2,CFD simulations were conducted in five representative high-density Chinese cities across major thermal zones,considering low-rise(T1)and high-rise(T2)urban forms.Results show that under winter closed-window conditions,the N1 configuration achieved higher health ventilation performance(HVP),reducing indoor CO2 by 82.6%-86.0%,while N2 enhanced thermal gain and energy efficiency.Climate zone influenced performance more than urban form type,highlighting the need for climate-specific design strategies.Long-term evaluation under the SSP5-8.5 scenario indicated that recommended prototypes maintained higher HVP in warmer regions and greater stability under extreme conditions in colder regions.This study develops a health-oriented prototype combination design methodology that systematically integrates multiple passive strategies,accounts for climatic adaptability and urban morphology,and provides context-specific solutions to improve IAQ and promote respiratory health.The outcomes offer an expandable,replicable,and operational design method for designing health-focused buildings and guiding sustainable urban renewal in high-density environments.

摘要Based on development data relating to China–Africa International Cooperation Parks(CAICPs)from 2003 to 2018,this study examined the transnational investment network of CAICPs using the social network analysis method.The number of CAICPs is increasing.Textiles and apparel,agricultural and food processing,trade logistics and management,building materials and construction,and electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing are the leading industries chosen by most CAICPs.These parks have promoted the economic and social development of African countries,driving the urbanization of the regions in which the parks are located,and they have also benefited China.The network of CAICPs involves China,African countries,and third-party investors.The network is becoming increasingly complex and has an increasingly high density.However,the key node countries and provincial units remain relatively stable despite changes in the network structure.The center of gravity of the network has shown noticeable deviations and regression,and inter-provincial investment cooperation has also been increasing.China–Africa cooperation drives the evolution of the network.In China,the investment of enterprises in Africa is affected by domestic policy,economic pursuit,and investment security.In Africa,the development of CAICPs is driven by development policies and achievements,and it is influenced by African countries’business environments.

摘要As an important coal-resource based city in eastern China, coal mining activities have greatly promoted economic development to Xuzhou while resulted in kinds of blocks for sustainable development. Subsidence areas caused by coal mining activities and rapid urbanization process led to the losing of ecological function and decreasing of landscape connectivity in the city. As the important life-support system, urban green infrastructure (GI as short) has great significance in improving human well-beings. Taking Xuzhou urban area as the study object, this paper proposed a green infrastructure construction method based on the principle of ecological priority. Firstly, key ecological patches were identified by GIS and RS methods. Secondly, we established corridors by minimum cost path model. Then, we built GI network and evaluated the ecological importance of different patches. Finally, by comparing the status of patches and coal mining subsidence areas, we proposed a framework for constructing GI network in Xuzhou urban area.

摘要The primary objective of this study was to develop an autoclaved light concrete(ALC)material with ultra-thermal insulation property and to investigate the relationship between its physical characteristics and mechanical properties.Through tests of dry bulk density and compressive strength,relationship of physical characteristics and mechanical properties of samples were studied,resulting in a material with ultra-thermal insulation property.Scanning electron microscope(SEM)and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)were applied to analyze the micro-morphology and elemental composition of samples.To identify the product phases,X-ray diffraction(XRD)was engaged.The test results showed that compressive strength and thermal coefficient were reduced with the increasing of aluminum powder within the mixtures.As a result the optimal thermal coefficient and compressive strength of samples were improved to 0.061 W/(m·k)and 1.2 MPa,respectively.SEM,EDX and XRD analyses showed that calcium silicate hydrate and tobermorite crystal were main resultant phases.

摘要Development zones have been an important spatial approach to opening-up. They have also been major contributors to the processes of promoting economic development since China's reform and China's industrialization and urbanization. Along with im- provements in the worldwide industrial division of labor and the gradual implementation of China's development zones' Go Global strategy, it is necessary for Africa, a hot spot of global industrialization in recent years, to learn from China's development zone model. By attracting China's capital, technology and enterprises to Africa via Sino-African co-built development zones, a pattern of high com- plementarity and mutual development between China and Africa can be formed which does favor further improvement of the global industrial division of labor. In order to study the applicability and prospect of China's development zone model in Africa as per the above-mentioned international situation, this paper first sorts out the development course of China's development zones and discusses their roles in China's industrialization and urbanization. Subsequently, this paper analyzes the status quo of industrial development in Africa as a whole and the differences in industrial development between China and Africa, aiming to justify the timing of industrial transfer from China to Africa by constructing Sino-African co-built development zones. Lastly, this paper analyzes the current situation of six Sino-African co-built development zones by focusing on their operation modes, industry types and investment promotion models. In the authors' view, Sino-African co-built development zones can function as a new window of China-African cooperation, a new car- rier of African industrialization, and a new engine of global industrial restructuring. China should adhere to the general principles of 'Sino-African Integration, Multi-Cooperation, Mutual Benefit, Scientific Location, Systematic Planning, Cluster Growth and Open De- velopment' in the planning and construction of development zones in Africa, effectively promoting Africa as the very important part of the global industry system.

摘要In order to improve the seismic performance of Chinese traditional stele relics, a suitable aseismic strengthening method of Chinese traditional stele relics is proposed. Taking the typical stele relic in Xi'an Beilin as an example, the on-site investigations were carried out to obtain the actual geometric size and damage state of the stele relic. Then, the structural performance of the stele relic was analyzed by the finite element software ANSYS. Finally, the two different aseismic strengthening methods of the traditional stele relic are proposed and comparatively analyzed. The results show that in addition to the common problems, such as weathering, and cracks, etc, earthquakes seriously threaten the structural safety of stele relics. Under the rarely-occurring earthquake of eight degree, the unstrengthened stele relic will be overturned, and many cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. When the stele relic is strengthened by the stainless angle steel strengthening method, the stele relic will not be overturned, but some cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. When the stele relic is strengthened by the base isolation strengthening method, the stele relic will not be overturned, and no cracks will occur at the connection area of stele body and stele pedestal. Therefore, the aseismic strengthening effect of the base isolation strengthening method is obviously better than that of the stainless angle steel strengthening method, and this method is a suitable aseismic strengthening method of Chinese traditional stele relics.

摘要High-level investment facilitation is crucial for China's overseas free economic zones(COFEZs)to attract and retain investment,mitigate business interruption risks,and foster a virtuous cycle.While research on investment facilitation in COFEZs has mainly focused on summarizing and examining the investment facilitation measures adopted by typical national-level examples of COFEZs,relatively little attention has been paid to investigating the overall level and general problems of investment facilitation across COFEZs.This study expands the scope of case investigations by taking 60 COFEZs as samples.It constructs a comprehensive evaluation indicator system which includes four dimensions:industrial infrastructure,social infrastructure,business support services,and seamless administrative supervision.By employing content analysis and regression analysis,this study identifies the characteristics and influencing factors of investment facilitation level in COFEZs.The results show that the overall level of investment facilitation in COFEZs is currently low.Specifically,COFEZs exhibit higher levels of investment facilitation in processing and manufacturing types and in Europe,while those in trade and logistics types and in Africa are relatively poor.Industrial infrastructure and business support services contribute more significantly to the overall scores of investment facilitation in COFEZs compared to social infrastructure and seamless administrative supervision.The investment facilitation level in COFEZs is essentially the result of a series of behaviors by developers and host governments,and it is affected by a combination of developers'perceptions of investment facilitation and the social environment in which developers and host governments promote investment facilitation.This study offers a new perspective on understanding COFEZs and contributes to the sustainable development of COFEZs.

摘要Development of new vernacular dwelling of water town in the southern bank of the Yangze River is an important approach to improve rural appearance,infrastructure,quality of life,and to realize new urbanization of this area. How would this process to inherit the quintessence of traditional local-style dwelling as well as integrate with low energy consumption technology is also an important problem due to the valuable Chinese traditional architectural culture in this area. Taking SI system as breaking point,this paper analyzes the green ecological characteristics of traditional residence in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River,discusses the current residential technology of low energy consumption, and proposes the low energy consumption residential technology integration system in the south of the lower reaches of the Yangze River.Based on this,this paper takes the SDC 2013 entry "solark"as a practical application case study and further expounds the prospects of this technology system.

摘要In order to study the calculation methods of shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams of Chinese modern reinforced concrete buildings,this paper carried out tests on the concrete compressive strength of 12 Chinese modern concrete buildings,the mechanical properties of 66 rebars from different Chinese modern concrete buildings,and the concrete cover thickness of 9 Chinese modern concrete buildings,and the actual material properties and structural configurations have been obtained. Then,the comparison on calculation methods include the Chinese original calculation method,the Chinese present calculation method,the American present calculation method and the European present calculation method is studied with case analysis method.The results show that the Chinese original calculation method of shear behavior of reinforced concrete beams is based on the allowable stress calculation method,and the design safety factors are 3. 55- 4. 00. The standard value of the compressive strength of concrete cubes is 8. 48 MPa,the standard value of the concrete tensile strength is 1.20 MPa,the standard value of the yield strength of rectangular rebars is 229. 56 MPa,and the standard value of the yield strength of round rebars is 276. 82 MPa. The average value of the concrete cover thickness of beams and columns is 35.96 mm. In term of calculation area of hoop rebars of reinforced concrete beams,without considering earthquake loads,the Chinese original structural calculation method is safer than the Chinese present structural calculation method,but is more unsafe than the American present structural calculation method and the European present structural calculation method. The results can provide the support for structural safety assessments and repair designs of Chinese modern reinforced concrete buildings.
摘要In order to promote the development of the relationship between China and the Islamic world and meet the cultural needs of Muslims when using mosques in China, this study focuses on the design of mosques in a multi-cultural context. Mosques are an integral part of the China and the Muslims’ society due to their unique style and features. The courtyard is a common element in the design of mosques, and its components vary depending on regional traditions of the time and place where it was built. With the growth of interest in the term of human needs and participation between designer and users in evaluating the design quality, this study summarizes the modern and traditional Chinese mosque courtyard design for Arabian Muslim users in order to evaluate whether their physical and spiritual needs are being appropriately met or not. A questionnaire was distributed to Arab Muslims living in the city of Nanjing to discuss the quality evaluation of traditional and modern mosques’ courtyard design. Through the analysis of seven natural and physical key issue elements in the design of the courtyard, the functional characteristics and configurations are analyzed. The results can be used to improve the design of the new mosque in future by using the vocabulary that accomplishes the architectural fusion of both Chinese and Islamic culture, as well as aesthetic and functional aspects.
摘要Connotations of genius loci of urban public spaces were explored, geographical position and composition of Daihu landscape design in New Shouzhan District, Changle City, Fujian Province was introduced. Design concepts, layouts and patterns were summarized by combining with geographical and cultural conditions of the study area. Functional zoning of Daihu landscape design was analyzed, human-centered site planning stressed to realize functions of new urban public spaces, regression of cultural and humanistic properties of these spaces, so as to provide diverse options for the future construction of urban public spaces.

摘要Due to the complexity of sustainable urban research,the environmental sustainability was assessed.Taking the sponge city as an example,the case study was conducted based on the integrated geographic information system(GIS)and emergy methods.The results demonstrate that the emergy of agricultural crops,major industrial products,comprehensive energy products,imports and exports,waste products and increased natural system emergy are the decisive factors for the sustainability assessment.Agricultural crops are the primary contributor,which accounts for 48.9%of the total emergy amount.Urban solid waste has a self-evident superiority in the waste products emergy proportion.Surface water and vegetal biomass emergy possess the pivotal consequences,far higher than soil organic matter.The sewage treatment stations(0.11%)play a small role in the sustainability assessment of the sponge city.The emergy sustainability index is 0.02181,which indicates poor environmental sustainability.According to the study results,increasing renewable energy input proportion and adopting the vegetal biomass of high unit emergy values(UEVs)can improve the sustainability level.
